Historically I've been a BIG fan of Teva and have worn my sandals for decades. I saw this hybrid sneaker-sandal concept and thought WOW, this is the best of both worlds. I was WRONG! The velcro straps are VERY poorly designed (some young designer isn't paying attention to details and wearability or chose not to test these shoes on actual feet). The amount of velcro on the strap is sparse and same goes for the catching velco strip on the shoe. As you "tighten" the strap, the two velcro pieces do not catch sufficiently as the top strap goes past the "catchable" area. Unless you have really fat feet, the straps are very unacceptable. BAD BAD BAD design!

The women sizes should come in a 12. So I can get those colors

Incredibly comfortable and will be great this summer in the hot weather.

Volunteer with special needs kids and adults. Program is called ' Swim with a special child". Requires stable shoes with a good grip. In some instances you have to carry kids or adults around the pool. In the past I used lightweight water shoes. Did not feel confident in them. The outflow universal water shoe is perfect for what I need to do both in and out of the water.

I wear these to work because of a medical condition. I'm wearing sandals disguised as closed toe shoes. They are great.

I see all these less than perfect reviews, and as usual wonder what people are thinking. I've worn Teva's for more years than I can remember, and I feel they are the best sandals out there for outdoor activities - or just general wear for that matter. These shoes are no exception. Very adjustable, super comfortable, keep the sand and stones out, and keep the tops of my feet from getting sunburned on long canoe rides. These were made for outdoor activities involving water. Sized correctly and would buy again.

Use my Teva sandal for when I'm in my house, very comfortable.

I haven't worn them yet other than to try on but they seem comfy. We'll see when summer comes. I love the look though and I hate wearing the teva sandals cause they hurt my toes lol. I initially ordered the wrong size and from the day I gave them to the post office, I got them three days later. Super easy exchanges and returns. I got the smallest men's size and they're still a bit roomy but I think they'll work.

Haven't yet tried as a water shoe. Will do as summer advances in Virginia.

I bought these for use in the Y pool, but I've been wearing them non-stop since they arrived. They feel like my old Tevas with a sewn-in sock.

saw a number of mixed reviews had to write one up after having these shoes for more than 6 months live in Lousiana where we go to the gulf area in mississippi. The beaches are really muddy and wanted a shoe that was a hybrid sandal that I could go into the water. These shoes took some time but I now really like them - the things was that I needed to develop calluses on my foot before the shoes became comfortable enough to walk all day around in - this took less than a month before i could walk around with out my skin rubbing against the shoe. I would first wear them loosely then eventually tighten them up. i went to California for some hiking and swimming they were great there , went to gulf area in Mississippi where it is muddy - true the sand does get into the shoes but one just needs to wash the shoes out really thoroughly, then you are ready to go. my area floods when there are thunderstorms - these shoes are great while walking in those conditions.

I wear them at Water shoes with orthotics and the only problem is sand and small pebbles go in but does not come out like a regular sandal. I have to take them off and rinse them to get the sand and pebbles out.

Great grip, quality production, great fit (once I sized down by a full size) but weirdly enough this shoe makes a loud farting noise if I don't wear socks. I've tried adjusting all the straps to no avail. If they didn't make that noise, they'd be perfect river shoes.

These are nice shoes. Not great, not bad. Just a nice comfortable pair of Summer shoes to wear with casual shorts.
