The footbed on this sandal is really weird. It's not the footbed Dansko is known for. The heel sinks down and the arch support is not in the right place. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

I bought a pair similar to this a few years ago and have worn them to the point that the sole at the heel is almost gone. These are a far cry from the quality of the previous pair. The leather is stiff and thin and chafed my skin. The heel strap is positioned very low and there's no flexibility to move it. The buckle is just for show - the closures are Velcro. Overall, they just seem cheap.

My feet are thin and this sandal felt one size too large around the foot.

These sandals were comfortable right out of the box! I have wide feet with arthritic joints from years of athletics. These are dressy enough to wear with dresses, rather than wear something formal that is totally uncomfortable. I can also wear them with white jeans/pants. Very versatile. I am very glad I made this purchase.

I really loved this shoe except for the fact that I am flat footed. My flat arch seemed to spill over the edge of the shoe which is very uncomfortable. I really loved that the shoe has 3 adjustable straps which is pretty important for flat feet that need something to hold them into the shoe. The shoe itself felt a bit hard in the footbed. Not the usual feel to my other Dansko shoes. I had to return the shoes because my arch just didn't like the "edge" that it was falling over.

The arch was painfullly sharp, like a shelf with a dropoff. I have always loved Dansko, and I'm so surprised at the uncomfortable arch in this shoe.

I wanted to love these so badly! I have several pairs of Dansko sandals that I have worn and loved for years. Needed a brown pair and thought these would be perfect. Was particularly excited about the three adjustable Velcro straps that look like regular buckles because my feet are a bit narrow and I wanted to be able to adjust them. That part was great. However, there is a weird “bump” that I suppose is meant to be arch support but it’s not positioned where arch support would normally be. The “bump” hits the foot in an odd place (too far forward?) and really causes discomfort. I couldn’t even take a few steps on the carpet with these shoes on because of the weirdly placed arch “bump.” My other Dansko sandals have great arch support but don’t have this weird bump. It’s a design flaw for sure. A shame. Have to return.

The plastic uppers were inflexible and uncomfortable. They rubbed my skin. Very uncomfortable. I had to return. Disappointed in Dansko this time.

Really comfortable even with the heel

These fit, feel and look great. Another great shoe by Dansko. I think I own about 12 pairs of their shoes now.

These look fantastic, and were plenty wide for my feet--the straps are all plenty adjustable and well placed, even with super-high arches. The reviewer who mentioned the footbed being different from other Dansko sandals is correct, but it worked OK for me. The arch support is very prominent and if it doesn't line up just right with your arch I can see it being uncomfortable.
