Found these on the sale rack. Rare to find shoes in my size. They fit great and were the perfect casual, yet dressy, shoe to wear on a cruise I took the next week.

These shoes are very comfortablle and I've gotten compliments on their appearance. They have tough bands on the tongue and heel which make them easy to put on and wear.

I've been on the search for the perfect do everything travel shoe for an upcoming trip to Egypt. I've tried many of the casual trail/hiking shoes from Merrell, Salomon, Altra, Brooks, etc and the Dirigo checks all the boxes for me! I wanted something that I can wear to the office, casual dinner, go light trailing or tackle the urban jungle. Right out of the box I found this shoe to be comfortable, wore them all day without any issues. The cushion is perfect, not too squishy soft and not too firm. I found the fit to be perfect, the heel is locked in comfortably, arch support is correct, does not dig into my arch, but cradles it. The toe box is wide enough to allow my toes to breathe and relax. I bought the olive colorway and couldn't be happier. Couldn't be happier!

I bought the brown and blue ones in size 13. Fits really really. My foot is slightly narrower than average and they are perfect. These shoes look good with jeans or go well with khakis. I like how light they are yet supportive.

I really liked this shoe from the moment I put them on. The left shoe fit like a glove on my foot unfortunately the right shoe did not. With every step my heel would lift up out of the shoe. This was due not to any imperfection with the shoe but due to a slight anomaly with my feet. This is why I still gave the shoes a 5 rating. Alls well that ends well as I was able to select a different style in exchange.

20 minutes to break in, as the highly cushioned sole conforms to your foot, at first felt like the heels would not cover and that you would slip out, good balance of weight to the stability they provide.

These gym shoes/sneakers fit well and are lightweight. I have Tailor's Bunions and must avoid seams on the sides. The mesh on these is perfect for that purpose. I have worn them for weeks now, including many exercise sessions, and I could not be more pleased. The only silly thing is the green highlighting towards the toe, which is unnecessary. Looks like grass stains.

Good cushion. Light and padded. Laces a little short but they stayed tied. Look good on your foot.

Rather than list all my foot issues and how this shoe helped, I simply want to say this is one of the most comfortable shoes, if not THE BEST. I have worn them all day long and they are really good. A decent toe box combined with a surprisingly good heel counter (I have issues for sure with heel slippage). I am going to go buy another pair.

Extremely comfortable and not too hard to get on like many "sock" type sneakers. I wear a lot of Allbirds and Hoka's and these are very comparable.

I like the looks of this shoe. I bought the pair for walking, however my 1st 3-mile foray resulted in a large blister on the back of one of my ankles. I remedied that problem w/ padding on subsequent walks. The shoe probably just needed to be broken in. I've bought quite a few pairs of shoes/boots from LLBean and have always been satisfied in the long run.

These are extremely comfortable, but definitely follow the sizing suggestion of going up 1/2 a size as the fit is tight compared to other sneakers. My only complaint is that, despite the mesh material, they do not breathe well at all.

First time I wore these shoes, I received a bunch of compliments. Even when I paid for them, the woman at the register mentioned how nice they looked. While they are made to take the elements, I am using them as office-wear or when we go out, they are that nice. My only complaint is that they fit a bit loose at the heel and are a little narrow.

This is a great looking shoe that seems to be very well constructed. It was comfortable for the first couple of weeks and then the right shoe began shifting while I was walking. I've tried using thicker socks but have now developed a blister on the right heel. I'm going to give this another week and may end up sending them back.

The Good: nice looking; sole provides good cushioning The Reservations: material is stiff, not supple; questionable breathability I usually wear a 10 1/2, ordered 11, too snug. Exchanged for 11 1/2, should have gone up to a 12.

The sneakers are difficult to get on and lace up. Once on and laced they are comfortable. I like wearing them.

I could not fit my feet into these shoes even though I wear size 10 med. shoes in all my other shoes, including golf shoes. One of the biggest problems was the insert in the shoes that was easily taken out! No luck with the fit though. The shoes were returned that day to the ll Bean store at Pike and Rose. I'll try next year!!!

I bought these expecting a lightweight, comfy summer-weight shoe. I ordered the same size and width that I normally wear (including for several other LLB shoes). But these feel tight and uncomfortable in the toe box and across the front slope of the foot (under the lacing area), while also feeling loose and "slippy" at the heel. Also, they're way too warm for a lightweight shoe. They should feel light on your feet and breathable, but, alas, no. I tried them three times the course of a couple of days, wearing normal-weight socks underneath -- once lounging around the house, once on for a two-hour meeting at the office, and then again for an early morning walk. No dice, they remain very uncomfortable.
