I am beyond impressed with this jacket. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where it can get very cold and windy. This jacket looks great, but is also super functional. It keeps me warm on the windiest of days when I hike. It runs true to size and I am especially pleased that the sleeves are plenty long since I am tall. I like the top zip pocket. My only suggestion would be to add an inside zip pocket too. I would definitely highly recommend this jacket. Two thumbs up!

Great Fit - this fleece is a bit longer than the other LL Bean fleeces so being on the tall side the waist sits at my natural waist. Great for anyone with wider shoulderrs. Slightly fitted so it is very flattering.

This jacket ran very long: I had to exchange for a petite. I started with a "High-Pile Fleece full-zip" jacket but found it was more for the stylish crowd. This sportier one is truly resistant to wind so it is a better choice for my walks.

This is a very comfortable and soft fleece jacket and very warm. I bought it for a hiking trip and am extremely satisfied. It is really very attractive and my 29 year old daughter loved it and her boyfriend said 'I want one'! Midweight and highly versatile. Best fleece jacket I have had in years.

I wear medium usually but I picked a Large size because I want to have some room to wear a sweater underneath.
Lightweight, warm, genuinely windproof, I love this jacket.
It's not a soft fleece jacket, as you imagine. It is because of the windproof function, I am assuming.
Ever since the weather starts getting cooler I've been wearing it every single day. Well worth the money.

This fleece truly is "windproof"! It is cozy and classy. It washes well. I bought a medium and a large. The medium is perfect for a light jacket with a shirt, t shirt or lightweight sweater underneath. I got the large size to wear as an extra layer on a motorcycle or snowmobile with heavier layers underneath. Both are perfect!

I really like this jacket - it's thin but warm and does a great job at blocking the wind. I usually wear a petite small but decided to go with the petite medium so that I could wear a sweatshirt underneath more comfortably. In general it fits as expected but is longer than my other similar LL Bean jackets (I know my others are smalls but I thought the length would be the same since they were still both petites).

I own a Bean windproof fleece that's now maybe 15 years old or more, and I have been waiting for Bean to offer another windproof fleece to replace it. This jacket seems like it's not actually fleece, but it IS actually windproof, and I have already enjoyed wearing it in stiff breezes. I'm really happy with it.

Originally ordered Medium but returned for large. Medium ran small and am happy I exchanged it. Sleeves are a little long but they were on the medium also. Very comfortable

Heaven. The material is heaven to touch. I wear it over a tank top. Pockets have perfect zippers so no need to carry a bag. Fit is just perfect, not at all bulky or baggy, slenderizing. Best item I've ever purchased from LLBean, and I'm an old timer.

I bought this to wear around my cold house but am finding it to be a nice and cozy layer for mild weather without a coat. I wore it to play golf because it moves with me while keeping the wind off. The blue is a nice shade of navy that goes well with jeans or my golf pants.
I usually take an XS so this seems to be consistent with other LL Bean clothing.

I'd been looking for a "wind stopper" jacket for a while and what I found in stores resembled men's wear. The juniper/navy combo is very pretty and is exactly what I've been wanting. I buy to accommodate layers & just ignore or alter this curvy fit. Large measures 45/42/46 inches, 25.75 sleeve, 16.5 shoulders, and 27.5 center back length.

This jacket is perfect for cold weather. I walk outside 5 miles a day even in winter. I love the collar.
Coupled with a scarf it's perfect in the cold.
I'd like to see a less conspicuous LL BEAN label on the jacket.

I loved it all, but the interior gray color, should have been the color of exterior top pocket.

Super well made like all ll bean products. It truly is wind proof-so that's awesome. Love the look! I'm normally a medium in ll bean, but wanted extra room. It is perfect!

Jacket is great in keeping out the wind but difficult to get on and off if you layer it with a sweater needs a lining

This jacket is a little " stiff" and I sized up based on reviews which was a great move!
So I always wear either small or med( if I want to layer) but I ordered a large this time and fits like a small medium! Esp the sleeves these days very narrow arms- makes layering difficult! And I know I'm not growing- but jackets are very short these days
This one in large allows to hit just below belt/or top of jeans! Has I bought my usual size- it would have been cropped and tight arm sleeves!
The color matches my new hiking boots as well. Pretty salmon color! Wish was a little differ ( assume that's the water bottles ?) hoping it's wind proof as well!!

Jacket is a bit crunchy, for lack of a better word. It's soft to the touch, but when wearing it, it feels as if there's cardboard woven into the fabric somehow. For the price, I'd expect something better.

It's a nice jacket, it's windproof even after washing but I didn't put in dryer. It was a bit softer after washing but windproof material isn't as soft as a fleece. I wear it in MI spring and it keeps me comfortable. It has deep pockets so my phone is safe!

Petite Large, is a bit big on me but worth it for sale price & color. A petite medium would have been ideal. The adjustable hem is excellent and the feel of fabric and ease of movement are great! Nice pockets for everything you need while dog walking. A perfect in between the sweater fleece and the air light quarter snaps. Easily layering underneath and it really does keep up to 15-20mph winds at bay! A definite go to jacket.

I bought this to replace the wind block fleece jacket I bought many years ago. While it keeps the wind out, it lets the cold in. Still, it's a comfy jacket for when it's cool but not cold out.

I have this jacket in two colors - I will say the cream colored one fits a little more snug than the dusty rose colored jacket. But other than that, it's a nice jacket that is true to size and is warmer than it seems like it will be.

I wear this jacket with a down vest underneath. Keeps me toasty warm and the jacket really blocks the wind. I only wish it came in a car coat length.

It does break some breeze, not intended to be a warm jacket. Overall, it is as described.
