This coat is awesome! Our of all my coats this one is my very favorite!

This is easily one of the warmest and most comfortable jackets I've ever worn. It handles rain and snow well while still being warm. The sherpa lining is great and everything about the jacket feels very durable.

Purchased a large. Fits ideally in the waste, sleeves and shoulders. I am 5'11" 195lbs athletic and want to purchase the other colors but they are backordered so decided not to. I have worn for a month, been in light rain and it repels fine but in heavy rain no way! It will get soaked. The warmth is really great. There is no sherpa lining in the arms but that does not seem to matter but I have only been in temp's down to 40F'ish and I wear a long sleave shirt mid-weight. Warmth is great. the pockets are more than ample although no internal pocket that doesn't bother me. Hood is ample too. Can wear a beanie with no issue. I like the elastic wrist cuffs. They trap the heat so no appreciable leakage there. Suspect it will keep you warm likely down into the 30's maybe slightly lower, my guess, no actual empirical proof on that. Net is I really like this jacket!

Excellent coat, it is extremely warm and generous in sizing. The color is a really nice muted Autumn orange. I purchased it for my 15 year old. He is 5'6" 115lbs, a men's medium is a little loose on him but a small would have been too small. It's well made, my son likes it a lot, especially the color as it's different from anyone else's coat at school. Keeps the wind out. Perfect for Michigan winters.

Great coat! My husband found the jacket in store and bought it in navy. He is so happy with the purchase. The coat is warm and the finish of the material is high quality. The sherpa lining makes it extra cozy. Size fit perfectly and we are very happy with the purchase.

Let these be the tried and tested review for you that this jacket will keep you warm in the coldest of weather. I live in Chicago and walked to work this morning when it was -7 F with a wind Chill making it feel like it was -22 F. I had a regular t-shirt with a very thin sweater and I was STILL warm. I was getting hit with 30 mph gusts and did feel a thing. For $200 this jacket has exceeded all my expectations and then some. Doesn't hurt it's pretty stylish too just saying!

Love the way this jacket looks on the body. Combining Down with Sherpa on a hooded winter jacket can sometimes be tricky fitting the body. This jacket takes all the winter "must haves"and put them into an awesome looking & slimming silhouette. It's stylish, comfortable, warm & practical for the coldest weather.

The jacket is beautiful however it was a little small. The XX jacket will not be available until May. I am not blaming LL Bean. Your quality and service are exceptional. It is unfortunate but not your fault. I will be anticipating.the arrival of the replacement jacket as soon as it is available.

It's been a long time since I've treated myself to a new jacket/coat. Bought this and I'm super happy with it. It's stylish, very warm thanks to the down and sherpa lining, and it has the quality you'd expect from L.L.Bean. I actually got the front of my jacket snagged on the side of a metal shopping cart, and thankfully the material did not tear. It's easy to put on and take off, and I appreciate the quality of the zipper and snap closures. The only thing I would change about this jacket is the design of the cuffs. Instead of wide elastic bands, I wish they were narrower straight cuffs with adjustable snaps having a similar look as the hand pockets, like what you see on the L.L.Bean Mountain Classic Down Parka. Other than that, I love it. I'm 5'4", 140 lbs., athletic build, and the Small size Regular length fits me pretty well, a smidge longer than I prefer but otherwise perfect.

Had high expectations. Better than expected. The Sherpa lining is so soft and warm - especially around the neck and hood. It's also warmer than I expected (considering its warmth rating). This will be just fine as my go-to winter coat for the bitter Minnesota winters.

I bought this jacket for my husband last year. He liked it so much we bought one for our son-in-law. He loves it. He is a surveyor and spends a lot of time standing and walking in cold northern New Hampshire. It will last forever, thanks LL Bean!

After placing my order I decided to look over the reviews and immediately got nervous about what I bought. I got this bad boy today & it is perfect! Not too big, really warm, perfect jacket for camping, the brewery, taking a walk with the dog etc. I ordered a Regular XL! I'm 5'8 215lbs, a little on the thiccc side. Shipow! Pull the trigger and get this thang, you won't be disappointed!
