These were a super stiff leather with no give. The back support was reinforced and rubbed (just from trying on) and there was slippage in the footbed insert (which was soft and comfy) so that when I put my foot in the insole bunched under my toe. I tried to put the shoe on several times and despite the insole being attached in the heel area, it slipped and bunched every time. It was a solid NO for me.

These are really nice quality boots. I was so excited when I took them out of the package. The problem is, the wide width isn't really wide. Unfortunaly, I will have to return them.

Really good fit so far, I need to break them in, so I will let you know about it later. I love the style and quality of the product.

Shoes and particularly boots are always too wide for my size 11 really narrow foot, and these were better than most. I am returning them, though, because although they fit fairly well along the sides, the toe box was too roomy and almost shapeless. If the heel stretched at all, it would cease to hold my foot, and I would swim in them. With pants that came down to the tops of the boots, they looked like I was wearing clogs. Maybe in a smaller size, this is less of a problem, though, and they do seem well made and comfortable.

The boot fit just fine. However, there was a flaw in the right boot at the little toe area where the two layers of leather overlapped. The overlap was large and thick and made that shoe unworkable. The left boot was fine.

This is a gorgeous boot! The leather is butter soft and looks like it'll wear beautifully. They feel very well made and are super comfortable right out of the box. I unfortunately followed the advice of many reviewers and ordered a half size up. Um, no! I think the reviews that suggested to size up did not select for their own width: The boot comes in narrow, medium and wide. If you just select your size, the width is set at narrow. You'll need to scroll down and hand select medium or wide. I'm guessing this is why so many people are saying they fit "narrow".

Super CUTE!!!! Lightweight heel and comfortable to walk in.

I typically wear an 8.5 or 9. Ordered the 9 and they were too small. Love the look of these boots so ordered 9.5. They look great, fit well and have great arch support. Love the lace up look but with easy-on/off zipper. From the SoftWalk name I expected a bit softer footbed, but I may just buy a padded insert. Still a keeper.

Great shoe from what I could see, but the lacing tops short of where it should. My feet are narrow and tall, a weird combo, so though the width was correct the leather was too tight over the top of my foot at the end of the lacing where the tongue and the upper are connected. If it the lacing had extended another couple grommets, it would have been fine.

This SoftWalk shoe is a stylish, quality boot that comes in a narrow width. It’s hard to find narrows at all, much less good looking ones, so I was thrilled when I saw these. Often narrows can still be too wide for me. I had this issue with a pair of SoftWalk leather sneakers, but these boots were actually too narrow! Maybe going up a half size would help? Unfortunately, I have to return them.

These boots run about 1/2 size smaller than marked. Very nice boots!

These are very comfy as I need some arch support and have wide feet. Great for casual and office wear. Love the lug soles - needed in snow which is here from Nov-March.

Uncomfortable in the ankle

Returned the first pair as I somehow ordered Narrow width, YIKES! Re-ordered the correct normal sizing and they are super cute!

These were a tad too tight in my normal size and the zipper was very iffy.

The boots were too tight in the toe area. I love how the boots look, though!

These boots are soooo stiff. Not comfie at all around ankle/leg. Foot area is more comfortable. A bit heavy too. Much clunkier look in person than online. Not what I was looking for. For those looking for the combat boot look, it might work.

This boot has an oddly designed zipper closure. The curving zipper makes it almost impossible to close w hen wearing it. The boots itself was too long and too wide but very narrow in the shaft. I’ve got boots from Softwalk in 7.5N that fit perfectly but this one was way off.

the fit was good, very comfortable, minor heel slippage. However, it was VERY difficult to get them unzipped and then zipped. The zipper makes this shoe basically unwearable!
