I ordered this belt a couple of months ago after seeing the style in the store. It looks really nice on and so far is wearing well.

A belt that matches the color and quality of your shoes completes the total picture. I have had several of the Allen-Edmonds belts and they last for years.

Great looking and well made belt. I wear size 38 pants and bought a size 40 belt and it fits well. I use it for daily wear with khakis and jeans and also for dress with suits and sport coats/blazers. It works equally well with all. I have in black and brown to use with matching Allen Edmonds shoes. The leather is high quality, supple, and the belt is lined. When these wear out I'll buy again. Thanks AE for the great belts and shoes made in the USA.

Leather is excellent Allen Edmonds quality: soft, flexible and durable.

The quality and construction on this belt to top notch. It runs a little small. If you wear a 32 Levi's you will want a 35. The 34 will fit but you will be near the end; I will likely exchange for one size up. The finish is not super glossy so it doesn't pop on its own and just adds a classy accent.

Purchased in black and brown. They look beautiful and dress up or down.

Great belt that match their shoes.

Nice belt. Matches shoes of the same color perfectly. However, they seem to run short. I wear a size 32" waist in all of my trousers that fit well, including jeans. The sizing guide recommends that you order one size longer than your waist size (32W pants = 34 belt size), so I ordered the 34 belt. I can barely buckle the belt, with a tucked shirt, in the very last hole, which, obviously, doesn't leave enough belt after the buckle to extend past the first belt loop as it should. I would recommend you order at least 2 sizes more than your waist size.

Belt is a gift to spouse and is a hit. Fit was true to size. Although title says "wide dress belt", belt is being used to wear with jeans. Much wider (taller) than average dress belt.

I have this belt in both black and walnut. Stitching has held well and belts haven't stretched like my other lesser quality belts. Black belt has held up well, but my walnut belt has developed quite a bit of scuffing around the belt holes. I've had this belt for 18 months but the scuffing started shortly after acquisition.

This belt is not consistent in color or size as the exact same model I have bought previously. The quality of the leather and stitching also appears to have deteriorated.

When this belt went on sale recently, I hurried and bought one in each colour to match my AE dress shoes. The belts arrived in a big box, packed in plastic baggies, with no other protection. I bought less expensive belts elsewhere and they were tastefully packed in flannel bags and individual gift boxes... But, aside the AE's now standard cheapism, these belts were a disappointment. They were simply too thick and the buckle too big to be called a dress belt, and yet too dressy to wear with casual pants. The leather material appeared to be good quality to me, but the workmanship on some of the belts was downright shoddy. The end tip on all 5 belts was very crudely cut, and the stitching on some of them was exposed where the tip was cut too close to the stitching. Returned.

I bought this belt a 5 or so years ago in walnut and loved it. I lost the belt recently but liked it so much that I repurchased it this week. I just received this belt, and it is significantly lower quality than my previous. I would stay away from this belt.

This belt is of excellent quality. The fit is perfect.

You may find other leather goods and belts in department stores, as I have done through the years. They are cheaper and seem to do the job fine. For this belt however, you are getting what you pay for. Once you feel the quality of the leather and the craftsmanship you will not be able to tolerate the cheap imported brands with the design name on packaging. Allen-Edmonds makes higher quality leather goods and it shows once you wear them.

This was a gift to my Son. He likes the look and quality of these belts. He has several colors and wears them daily to work.

I thought this belt might be to dark but it was perfect. Looking again at picture the color is about right. I think it might be a slight shade lighter. Anyway, it was exactly what I needed for my chukka's. It looks smashing with jeans.
