Featherweight is best, no break-in, good grip soles, warm. Lacing system a bit tedious and definitely not a work boot but overall great boots!!

I bought these a couple years ago, right after the redesign of the 1st generation. The wide option is key for methank you footwear designers! The best attributes are the warmth, comfort & light weight. They are WP, but if you try hard enough, you can get your feet wet. For me that's happened once, & that alone earns them a 5th star. The lacing is a little odd toward the top; they'll catch at the ankle & not pull snug below, so you have to go down & pull them through loop by loop when you want a perfect fit. The upside to the lacing is that once they're in place, they do not slip. At all. Another 5-star attribute. If/when the next-gen is up for design, I have only 2 recommendations: offer an extra-wide width (I'm a 4E!); and an Arctic Grip version. That would make these boots p-e-r-f-e-c-t. These may be called men's boots, but being a woman with large feet living in a snowy climate, they are perfect--tough, warm, comfortable top quality and so light! I also think they're good-looking, but then I'm not a fan of girlie-looking winter boots that don't do the job. Very happy with this purchase.

These boots are very warm. I have not yet had the chance to try them out in snow.

I've had these boots for almost a year. They are my snow shoveling boots. They have had plenty of use over the past year and still look like new. The fit is good. I'm female with oddly wide feet so, my fit experience may not be useful for most folks. They take a little bit of fussing to get on and off since they are lace up, but that feature helps to keep the snow out better than my pull on boots. Traction is good in the snow. I remember slipping and falling on ice last year. No "normal" boot provides traction on ice. A "bomb cyclone" went though last night and left us with a few inches of snow and frigid temperatures. When it warmed up to negative four degrees F, I decided I'd better go clear the driveway before the temperatures start falling again. One, typical, suburban, 2 car driveway and sidewalk later, my fingers, inside of amazingly warm ski mittens, were in agony from the cold. But, my feet, inside of these boots with ONE pair of wool socks were toasty and happy.

I like this boot because it is light like it's advertised, it hasn't been bad weather since I bought them so I can't rate them other than being light, they look well made? Time will tell.

I bought these for snowshoeing, but they have proved far more versatile than I expected. They are remarkably lightweight, but warm, comfortable and genuinely waterproof. A perfect winter boot if you're not doing heavy hiking.

Bought these to walk the dog on the cold mornings. No break in time was required. We walk 2 miles each morning and these are both really comfortable and really warm.

These hiking shoes are great for rain, slush and snow. Fully waterproof. I went into puddles 2-3 inches in depth and my feet were dry. These boots are extremely lightweight and provide good ankle support. Insulation is OK and traction is not great on ice.

I expected these to be comfortable boots they are. What surprised me was the fact that they are warm, as well. I wore them several hours in 10 - 20 degree weather with no problem.

Although great boots, I don't like the lace holders. Very difficult to pull tight.

The lightweight nature of these boots cannot be overstated. It is so nice to have snow boots that are not super heavy and clunky. Besides the weight, they're great for any snowy condition. They're the kind of boots you can slip on unlaced and they still function great, or you can lace them up fully for a bigger outing. They keep your feet warm and dry most importantly. Wish I found them years ago and worth the relatively premium cost.

Comfortable & warm. Only negative is lacing system is difficult to loosen enough to get boots off.

These comfortable, lightweight boots came at just the right time. They keep my feet warm and are attractive. They're not as wide as I thought they'd be, and had to order a larger size.

My son has wide flat feet it has been a constant challenge to find boots that are comfortable and fit correctly. He put them on and absolutely loved them fit perfect kept his feet warm and very light weight!!!

Great waterproof boots to keep feet warm and dry in the winter weather. My son LOVES these boots in his snowy college town.
