Plush part on the ankle is not like the photo. If rain you are going to be wet because it is imposible to protect the angle from the rain. The laces bother the ankle part because the stuffed material is very outstanding.

Very nice book but the top of my foot didn't have enough room. Disappointing as I love Merrell footwear!

These boots are keeping my feet warm and comfortable on my Winter walks.

Warm, waterproof; perfect for cold weather walks/hikes

I walked over 73 miles through rain and snow during a recent winter vacation tour of Christmas markets, and these shoes kept my feet warm and dry every day! They are relatively lightweight to have accomplished this task, and are comfortable.

Warm. Comfortable. Versatile- great for just wandering around town and equally as great for taking me down trails in the White Mountains.

Every time I put my old boots on last year I said "ugh I need new boots!" So I ordered these before the weather turned this year and I've already had to use them a couple times in shallow snow and rain. They have great grip and my feet stay warm in them with only one pair of socks.

I feel they are true to size if you wear a lighter or a typical crew sock bulk. You may want to size up a half for thicker socks. These are comfortable and will work well for my purpose of dog walking for the late fall/winter season. If you have wide feet, order wide if it's offered. Medium fits as expected. Also...cute!

Same great comfort that I have come to expect from Merrell. These needed no time to break in and were perfect for my adventures through Iceland. I was worried my feet would get hot but they never did. Perfect boot.

These boots are super comfy and the faux fur top lining prevents any chafing. I walked around snowy side walks and my feet stayed dry, but I cant vouch for extended times in the snow as I didn't walk very long. I didnt slip on ice either. They do run narrow, and I already have wide feet, so they are uncomfy after an extended amount of walking specifically for me, but if you have normal/narrow feet it would be comfy for extended times. They feel secure and cozy and warm!

Perfect shoe for an upcoming Alaska trip! Bought these for my wife and she has been breaking them (though not really needed - they are ready out of the box) on our daily walks getting them ready for our April trip.

I agree with those reviewers about sizing up. As the half-size up was no longer available, I tried a full size but the boots were too sloppy and I returned them. Really liked the blue colour. I did find the right size on another website in the fuschia colour - although I'm definitely not a "pink" person, I love the bright colour, it makes me smile when I look down. The boots were very comfortable right out of the box, they're cosy (we've had a mild winter so can't comment on warmth), have a nice grippy sole, and so far keep my feet dry in snow and slush though I try not to walk through puddles.

Love these boots! They are cute and comfortable. They kept my feet warm and dry during a muddy fall hike. Then they cleaned up like new. They are a bit more attractive than your average hiking boot and look good for casual wear. I wear a size 6.5 or 7, and ordered these in a size 7 and the fit is perfect.

Perfect for a wet winter trip to Iceland. I wore these most days we were adventuring outside of Reykjavik and while the rest of me was often soaking wet thanks to rain, wind, and waterfall mist, my feet were warm and dry. Huzzah!

Just returned from 4 days and 5 nights from Iceland. The weather was really aggressive, changing without warning, horizontal rain, stinging sleet and crazy fierce winds, not to mention the cold. But there was a "warm spell" resulting in a lot of slush. These boots with stood it all! My feet were warm and DRY! All the walking was stable, even on icy areas. Best boots!

This is an excellent boot for winter, messy weather running. I ordered half size larger based on previous reviews and will agree that is the right thing to do. Has a boxy toe for thick socks and room to wiggle the toes. My feet stayed warm and dry. No issues of heel rubbing or toes slamming the front. I'm almost surprised how great these are, I recommend them.

They are good, the design is beautiful. I recommend using them, they keep your feet warm and are comfortable to walk on.

These are great out of the box and pretty warm. Perfect for Midwest winter hiking and about town. Size up a half size. I am a true 8 and ordered an 8.5 based on reviews. Excellent fit.
