I have a narrow foot and find these fit excellent. Comparing them to my Norvan LD2 GTX they are heavier and appear slightly bulky being designed for hiking and not running. My feet run hot so the GTX is ok for when needed but these fill the gap for the dry hot days. Great style and good grip. They are a bit loud walking along but the comfort is excellent. Loving the Enigma color with the pink tongue and logo accents. The laces I like but they do come undone often. Hoping as they break in it won't be the case. I normally wear a 10.5 men's and they fit correct. Will be my everyday shoe

I've put about 100 km on these hikers in the last two weeks and so far they feel good. Maybe half a day of adjustment before they felt familiar to my feet. I have also experienced laces coming loose on a couple of occasions and also noticed the gap form at the ankle as one other reviewer mentioned. The latter issue is at times irksome when my other foot grazes the opposite shoe. The interior and exterior fabrics are OK, though I prefer those of the GTX model, which I also own. These are more breathable, of course. Midsoles offer more cushion than the previous model. Outsoles are plenty grippy. It's a good-looking shoe that catches envious eyes on the trail.

I love the Aerios, comfortable & elegantly looking too, it has Arcteryx design & spirit in it. My only issue with it, while walking it opens up around my ankle as shown in picture. It doesn't mean, it gets loose, it stays well tight & secure around my feet & ankle but it looks bit weird when it does & also means it will allow dirt & small stones to easily find their way in I think Arcteryx used soft material to make feel comfy but it ended to be counter productive, I prefer tight fight around all the time. Hint it looks normal when not walking & it isn't something the lace would fix, I tried it. 4 stars for now, it could have been a 5. It is issue with all Aerios, as I bought the white one too & same issue.

Worn about 5 times now for 10+ km total. Didn't like them at first but as they break in I am liking them more (heel raising quite a bit). There isn't much room for superfeet or other insert, so I am sticking with the stock insert even though I supinate. I have a pair of Norvan LDs that I much prefer the fit and feel, but these will be daily wear shoes for now.

First time wearing these were comfortable at first and looks very sleek with the all black. After wearing them a few times and for about 30 minute to 1 hour walk, I began to feel the arch digging into my foot and became uncomfortable, also the laces came undone in just a few blocks of walking. Every time I wear these shoes, I must double tie them so they cannot be undone after an activity that is my biggest concern. Another surprising feature is that the tongue does not have a compartment for the laces to tuck in to prevent the laces from coming undone unlike the Norvan LD3. My favorite feature of these shoes were the breathability in the heat and in a recent hike, Elfin Lakes, with the heat right on top, my feet felt the cool breeze and kept them cool with no sweat at the end of the hike.

I have worn the pair I purchased very few times. The heel of the shoes have worn out after only a few times and are unwearable. Waste of money

Compared to other arcteryx products, these shoes appear to be relatively "cheap". I bought these shoes to wear to office on casual Friday as they are low key and for the fact that they were claimed to be highly breathable. Turned out they are cheap for a reason, as they are really poorly made! The bottom material is too hard and does not provide much cushion for even casual walking. The heel part of the shoes are also very narrow, and actually hurt my feet. Even with these negative factors, I still decided to keep them as if I wear them to office on Friday I would not need to walk much any way. So last Friday I did wear them to office but had to change on my other shoes as they were not as breathable as Arcteryx claimed! After a few hours my feet felt hot and wet! Even my chunky Asics Kayano 29 would feel a lot more breathable (which are also way more comfortable for walking). I had high hope of these shoes as I had high expectation of arcteryx products but I was completely disappointed. ArcTeryx should feel ashamed for producing such a below par product yet still charging premium price.
