I have very slim, low volume feet, with plantar fasciitis and other tendon issues. I have been wearing GT-2000s for several years as my everyday shoe on the recommendation of my orthopedist. 9 1/2 N was a perfect fit for me for the 8 and 9 versions. However, the same size for this 11 version was too long and had a relatively wide toe box. I ordered the 9N, and it fit perfectly, like the prior 9 1/2. Good arch support and comfort. The fabric uppers of all these versions tend to fray under the large toe fairly easily, so I will be preventively putting round adhesive patch inserts under the big toe area fabric. I wish Asics would develop a more durable solution for this upper fabric.

Overall the fit was quite poor. I have had this same shoe (previous models) for years and this version 11 looks like an improved design and the sole appears more sturdy, it is almost a full size smaller than the series 10, the tongue is narrower and the width is not accurate. Not sure what happened but this looks like a miss by Asics.

I just got my new asics GT 2000 and tried them on, and we are like old friends already!! I have a wide foot and finding shoes to fit well is a challenge!! I usually wear a 9 and that is what I got! They are wide enough to be comfortable and very comfy!! I run/ walk every day and I will have very happy feet with these….. BTW, im not one to write a review so you know these are awesome !! And Zappos delivery is always exceptional and timely!!! Thank you Zappos

I really liked these Asics GT02000 11's. They are a great, supportive sneaker. I ended up returning them only because I did a direct comparison between the 2000 and the Gel Kayano 29. The Kayano has much more cushioning and accommodated the orthotic better. But, if I wasn't comparing it directly with the Kayano, I would have kept these. Plus these come in a waterproof version too -- the GTX -- which is great for travel. They are comfortable, sleek and good looking. I took a 9.5 in these and a 10 in the Kayano. (normal size in regular shoes is 9).

This sneaker is very light weight. I wear an 11N but use professional othodictics for my comfort. I plan to buy other colors.

Out of the box they are comfortable. I have yet to wear them out. I have this shoe in the 10 model which I like for walking. I found they do not have enough structure for running. I think I will like this 11 model better because it has a bit more structure. These might work for running for me. If not, they will be a good walking sneaker. I always go a full size up with ASICS running shoes.

This is my third pair of this particular Asics running shoe. I'm liking each generation less and less. The upper material stretches too much for good support when running or for all-terrain walking. I pronate and originally picked this shoe for its supposed stability for pronators. Unfortunately, after my first long walk wearing the latest pair, I have arch pain in one foot and pinky toe pain in the other foot. Obviously, this pair isn't going to be good for me for much more than wearing to do errands. Expensive for that limited use! If I hadn't given them an outdoor workout, I'd be returning them.

The left foot was bizarrely tight where the top of the lacing is sewn with the horizontal trim.. the right foot perfect, which is usually the one that needs a wider fit. Maybe an 'off' pair? The shoe is wonderfully cushioned, like walking on a cloud. Wear an 11.5 Narrow and there are no others to try. Impossible to find shoes..and these would have been perfect for walking and my post operative toe.

I have usually worn a 12M. But after wearing nothing but sandals over the hot Arizona summer, I needed more toe room, and these were exactly the solution.

Love this particular style of Asics. Supportive and very comfortable, cushy! My only con is the color - not sure I would define it as beige. More a light rose color. Really wanted the navy ones but out of stock in my size.

These fit true to size and are beyond comfortable. I was having some arch issues and have found these to be very supportive. And there is plenty of wiggle room for my toes!

I have been wearing GT-2000s for several years (I wear women's size 12 so I alternate between womens and mens depending on what is available) and this one feels more or less like the previous version. I put them on and ran a mile on the treadmill and felt great. They do seem to have a little more room in the toe box--which I like--because it means less chance of bruising toes while running downhill.

Love it! Much better than 2000-10! More cushioning in the right places without sacrificing stability. Already bought a back-up pair!

Loved the fit and the color. Shoes are for wearing to the gym for workouts on equipment- they feel great and support my foot well.

These shoes are incredible - granted I have not officially gone running in them yet. I have purchased the GT-2000 series for a long time now and was not a fan of the GT-2000 9 version. I almost thought of trying to a different model, but I wanted to give it one last shot. I am so glad I did. They are super comfortable and lightweight. With last year's GT-2000 model, I ended up experiencing some pain running this year (I typically buy a new shoe around the end of each year), so I am hoping this new model will give me the support - in all the right places - that I need.

I run a lot so comfort is important to me. Shoes are comfortable. I would consider sizing up a 1/2 size.

This is a nice, comfortable shoe. Good for walking. One negative is that the material on the top/toe portion collects grass, dried weeds, etc. very easily and it is difficult to remove them as they weave their way into the fabric. So if you're walking/running off concrete trails, be prepared to pull the grasses out of your shoe.

As another reviewer noted, the GT-2000 11s are significantly larger than older versions when comparing the same size. I have worn size 7.5 GT-2000s for many years. The size 7.5 GT-2000 11s I ordered were visibly longer than my size 7.5 GT-2000 9s and felt about a half-size larger than the 9s when worn. I ended up ordering size 7 shoes and they fit much better. The design and materials are good, but I am taking 1 star off for the huge change from the previous sizing.

I wish they used a a more resistente fabric on the top of the shoe, it looks like the same on the gt2000-09 model which tore down just by the pressure from my big toe, otherwise, I've been using them for years, best shoes for my pronation.

This is an attractive and comfortable shoe with good cushioned support, but would be best for those who do not have high arches.

This is my go to walking shoe. With this year's iteration (11) though, the shoes are much larger than my current ASICS GT-2000 10s. Returning them for a smaller size.
