Was hoping that Asics looked at their customer reviews and made the toe box wider on these shoes...but no. I love Asics running shoes and have never had an issue with the width, but the Gel-Resolution 8 AND 9 are just too narrow for my normal width foot. It's unfortunate as they are always recommended for plantar faciitis.

I am prone to plantar fasciitis and my Podiatrist suggested going up a half size and wide for my tennis shoes. I had been experiencing numbness in my toes and balls of feet also. Bought these and have worn them 5 times and no numbness. No soreness in my feet after I’m done playing, so far so good.

I should have fully heeded other reviews that said these run too narrow and short though even though I ordered 1/2 size larger based on the reviews--I tried them in hopes that ordering the wide width would really get a wide forefoot. These are very attractive but extremely tight at the forefoot making them not comfortable or wearable. It seems that the footbed has some nice cushion though these running so narrow even in the wide width means I won't be able to keep them or benefit from it. I'm disappointed as they are nice looking!

I ordered this shoe in a 7.5 D (wide) and to call this shoe a WIDE is a stretch. It barely works for me since I do not have a truly wide foot but if you do stay away from this shoe. Very tight in a D!

I really wanted to like these shoes, but unfortunately even the wide width runs narrow. The shoe was not comfortable width-wise at the ball of the foot. There are elastic straps holding the tongue, and I have mixed feelings about those from a design standpoint for how they feel on the side of the foot. I have worn several other wide Asics, but this one simply didn't work. I ended up going with New Balance wide court shoe.

I've only been using them for about 3 weeks but these shoes are so comfortable to use for my tennis sessions. There is no rubbing on the ankle or the front of my feet and i barely notice them during matches. The fit is just right (I have slim feet so i tend to crunch my toes when walking with shoes that are a bit wider) my mind rarely ever goes to my feet while using them because of how comfortable they are.

These are my 9th or 10th pair and as usual, they are great. I took them out of the box, played 2+ hours of tennis and had no blisters or sore spots. The provide great support and grip on the court.

ASICS is the only brand of court shoe I can wear because I have an 11 narrow foot. Everything else on the market is too wide for my foot. I have purchased a variety of ASIC's styles, and I am pleased with every one of them.

My tennis pro recommended Asics Gels for good arch support for my flat feet as well as excellent cushioning for pro-longed athletics on concrete. I couldn't be happier - the Asics Gels are an exceptional combination of comfort and support. Totally understand why they were recommended so highly.

First time trying Asics for tennis, and they are really comfy and secure in the heel. I also like how they are white, it's hard finding white sneakers specifically for tennis. Fit like all other Asics, which is great since I love my Asics for running.

Narrow toe Box is way better than jamming your toes… If you play competitive tennis, you will appreciate the snug fit… Buy a different shoe if you do not… ASICS do not change the shoe!!

I've worn New Balance tennis shoes for 15 years but couldn't find any lately that fits me like previous year's models. So I decided to try Asics, and I'm so impressed and thrilled with my new shoes. It gave me perfect support for I have high arch. I won't need any inserts or orthotics with these. The fit is perfect, so comfortable. After hours on the courts my feet felt great!!

If you have a narrow foot - this is your shoe! I've ordered dozens of shoes and this is the only one that won't slip on my heel and allows to get a snug fit. It's a long lasting shoe as well with my only need to replace it due to eventually wearing out the bottom of the toe after 8 months of wearing and an average of 8-10 hours of court time per week.

I love the new version. I have purchased two pairs of version 7 because they fit nicely but didn't have much eye appeal. The version 9 in lime/yellow is stunning. I get lots of nice comments from my playing partners. They fit really well. The best is the performance, I am 75 and use them for pickleball, the lateral support is amazing. Highly recommend.

I use these shoes for pickleball. I have narrow feet but still need a moderate-width toe box because of my Morton's Neuroma. These Asics shoes were PERFECT after I ordered half a size up. I wear a Women's 11 in everything *except* these shoes - for these I needed an 11.5. The fit of the GEL-Challenger 13 was pretty much identical but I preferred the more modern styling of these Resolutions. Specific things I liked about this shoe was the nicely padded tongue and sides that feel secure but don't rub my ankles. (The New Balance Fresh Foam shoes I tried, in comparison, were not comfortable.)

Narrow toe box - hard to believe wide width is actually wide. Still looking for a good court shoe that works for my wide feet.

These are my favorite tennis shoes so far! They fit my narrow foot great and I still have good toe room. I've had Nike and Adidas in the past. If you choose a non popular color, they are reasonable priced. Great shoes for tennis!

My second pair of Gel-Resolution 9. I love these tennis shoes, they fit like a glove so my feet feel secure and safe on the court.

These are the best fitting tennis shoes that I've had so far. I've tried Nike and Adidas. Nice and snug for my narrow feet but plenty of toe room for no squished toes. When I need a new pair, I will be getting these again.

These shoes fit a little tight on the toe width area. However, I love that these shoes are snug. I use them for pickleball. When I reach, back up, go side to side, I REALLY TRUST them. Your foot does not move inside the shoe. I will get another pair when these wear out.

These shoes looked a little too plastic to me when I saw them. They are a snug fit, which now I love. I can trust my feet on the court with these shoes. I will definitely buy them again.
