Better shoe overall compared to the 8, fit is better and more comfortable

When I first put in the shoes, I was a little worried they were too tight. I was too used to always having a little wiggle room in my shoes for comfort but then I thought to myself that in sports that require a lot of lateral movement, it's best to have tighter fitting shoes for better support. I walked around the house with them for about 15 mins and the tight feeling wasn't bothering me, just something that I wasn't used to right away I guess, so I decided to keep them. I played pickleball for 3 hours in the them and they were comfortable and supported me with the amazing grip and comfort all three hours. I mainly picked these shoes because of the durability tests in these because I wanted to spend less money on constantly buying shoes. if you are also on the same boat for something that's comfortable, supporting and durable, I would highly recommend these shoes.

These will only last you a couple months as the bottom of the sole will become smooth. Asics does not offer a warranty anymore.

Shoes came 8 mm longer compared to the dimensions of the same model and size ordered last year (but at the same width). In other words, length is a full size bigger than it should be according to the company's own size guide, making shoes very awkward to wear. Returning this.

I have had these for 4 months, playing once or twice a week, and the soles are already worn flat, and the laces are falling apart which Asics would not replace.

I have finally found a tennis shoe with a wide enough forefoot and with exceptional lateral support to wear for tennis and pickleball. The gel-resolution 8 version was unbearably narrow for my foot, so I switched to a men's Asics Court FF2. The shoe had great stability but was a bit narrow in the toe box. When the new Gel-Resolution 9's came out, I wasn't sure how much they had changed the toe box, but decided to try them on at a store. The women's 8.5 was still a bit narrow for my forefoot, so I tried on the men's and it was so nice to have a bit of room for my toes and not feel squeezed. I've played with them the past month and absolutely love the fit, comfort, and stability of this shoe, so I bought a second pair. Highly recommend if you need a bit more room in the toe box area and you need/want a shoe that provides great lateral support for quick changes in direction.

I've been wearing Asics for many years now. I ordered 2 pair of Gel-Resolution 9 regular that I was not happy with because the straps that you added about 4" from the toe made the shoes too tight for me. I've never had any issues with normal width in the past. I didn't realize there were wide shoes available so I bought this pair when I saw they were available to see if it would rectify the strap problem for me, which it did. the Gel-Resolution 9's are a very solid, comfortable shoe, once I got wide that overcame the strap discomfort.

White and gray is my preferred color. It seems 11.5 is a tough size to find.

It was amazing shoes and fits well. I would recommend the shoes if you're looking for a good shoes.

Gel Resolution 9 is a great sneaker. This is my second pair, I use them to play tennis. Sizing is accurate, they are incredibly stable, very comfortable, sole is long lasting. 4.0 men's USTA player, I am over 50 and an all court player.

Great shoes for tennis. This is my third pair of asics and I love them.
