The wide wasn't wide enough for my feet. The midsole cushion felt amazing, and I really wish these would have worked for me. Upper overall felt nice and plush, but just didn't have enough room in the toe box.

Uncomfortably warm on my feet after the second mile or so. Otherwise very comfortable

It is a fine shoe but I have purchased gel nimbuses for years. The sizes don't even run the same. I bought the same size I always buy and these are much larger. I sent them back. It is no longer a gel nimbus.

I'm on my feet all the day and the cushion and wearability of the Nimbus 25 has been great. The best Nimbus since the Nimbus 7.

I have used the Gel Kayano should for years but decided to try the Gel-Nimbus this time. I am sorry I did, the shoe is comfortable and well cushioned, which I like, but the sizing is off. I always wore size 1 in the Gel-Kayano so that is what I order for this one. However, my toes bump into the tip of the show and as a result they are not very comfortable.

I'm currently struggling with whether to keep the shoes. I've had many versions of the Nimbus in the past, up until a few years ago. After the narrow fitting Nimbus 19 and all the negative reviews it received Asics apparently decided to make the Nimbus slightly wider on all subsequent versions. I'm referring to the "D" width. That's great if you have an average to wider that average foot. I have a B width foot and I guess Asics looks down on those of us with narrow feet, as they offer nothing in a narrow width. This Nimbus 25, in my view is far superior to most, if not all previous versions. Unfortunately for me my foot slides within the shoe and I have a bit of heel lift which causes the back of my sock to work down to the heel. None of my other shoes cause this to happen. I can cinch the laces down tight but that causes pressure points on the top of my foot. The same thing when I add an extra thin insole. That trick has rarely worked for me. Come on Asics, make the Nimbus in a narrow width, if you're going to keep making it in a slightly wider than average D width. I won't hold my breath though. I know New Balance makes a few narrows in their flagship shoes but they never work out for me for various other reasons.

Very neutral shoe with perhaps the most cushion from toe to heel that I've ever experienced. Very comfortable shoe all the way around and average to run in. My favorite part of this shoe is wearing after a run. My feet recover quickly and these are like wearing clouds under your feet. Toe box runs big and I have to over tighten them to lock my foot in place. In all other shoes, I'm a normal width, but these seem excessively wide for "normal" width.

Run 3-4 times 18 - 20 miles per week. Nimbus 24 were my favorite pair of running shoes between Pegasus and Brooks Ghost 15s. The sole for the Nimbus 25 does not hold up vs the Nimbus 24 at the distances I run. They definitely feel comfortable, but have impacted my running experience just by adding them to my rotation. By mile 2 or 3 my calves are exhausted, an experience I have never had before. The sole is so soft it gives the feeling and the fatigue of running barefoot on a sandy beach. Better for me than a stiff sole on a hard road, but too different vs the Nimbus 24s for me to enjoy. If you are looking for maximum softness, these will probably work for you.

I want to love this shoe. The ride is Cush and springy BUT the big (huge for me) design flaw; The thick stiff-ish foam around the whole heel/ankle zone poofs open/shut with each step and that quick “opening” catches a mad amount of little debris, pebbles etc.

I bought them last week, tried them on and the right side fit a half size smaller. I am so disappointed because they seem so flexible and the cushion is great. I will purchase again in hopes that both fit equally.

This is my 3rd pair of ASICS. I have two pair nimbus 24 and they are perfect. I go to order a new pair and they are no longer available. Corporate strategy to have to have new, higher priced models when there is nothing wrong with the current model is annoying. I ordered the 25s at the higher price and am very disappointed. They feel cheaper than the 24s. I ordered the same size and the 25s fit bigger than the same size in 24s. Unfortunately I needed the shoes for a trip, had to use them and cannot return them. Disappointed.

Very disappointed I use Gel-Kayano for years and tried these in same size. They were too small damaging my toenails. Going back to Kayanos.

I found that the tongue pull rubs against my foot.

I bought these shoes for my spring/summer training and I've had nothing but problems. The first issue was the shoe's tongue. For some reason it has a piece of fabric in the middle that during my first 10k run, gored bloody grooves into my skin. Shame on me I thought, because the shoe is tall and my blister-proof socks were too short, which exposed the skin to the jagged tongue fabric. I bought some quarter socks and tried again. The next run was 8 miles and the shoes felt good... until around mile 6. I noticed that my left big toenail was getting bullied a lot by the toe box. Afterwards, I learned the nail had lifted and eventually turned blue/black -- an injury many runners are familiar with. I want to like these: they are comfortable. Running has been a disaster.

If you don't tie correctly your shoes (as per ASICS) you can hurt the back of your heel. Shoes are light and comfortable until they are not, and because of the large outsole the travel distance of your heel against the back of the shoe is large too, therefore rubbing the back of your heel, leading to a potential injury.

The shoes were wider than previous "regular width" ones that I have purchased. I did not like the "hook" design of the eyelets. The overall effect was a less stable feel to the shoes. On the plus side the cushioning was very good.

Comfortable and true fit but they changed the sole surface significantly from previous iterations. On anything other than a rough, totally dry surface I'm sliding. Which is very dangerous. I've worn Gel Nimbus exclusively since the #7 version. Notable difference with these soles.

For years, I wore the ASICS Nimbus line of shoes and they were my favorite everyday and workout shoe. I made a habit of stocking up so I always had three backup pairs. The last three pairs have all had major issues with ripping in the upper parts of the shoe. This has happened across the 24 and this 25 series. It makes a relatively expensive sneakers look cheap and embarrassing to wear. After 3 weeks, you need to switch to a new pair.

The shoes are not true to size. The listing mentions that a half-size up is advisable for running. I purchased these shoes for long periods of standing and walking for my overseas trip. I bought mine in size 8 which are my actual size. They fit very snugly and pushes your toes to the tip of the shoes as you walk. I believe I should have opted for the half-size up, but again. But I did not purchase them for running. When I first put them on, they felt fine. But when worn for actual walking, they really squeezed my feet around the heels and arch area resulting in blisters and calluses to form. There are no visible defect to my shoes but the padding sole around the heel area seems to poke at my feet which were the cause of the blisters for one of my feet. I could not return them or exchange them because I had worn them outside and they were not eligible for the warranty. So, I am quite unhappy with them because they were full of bad surprises that I was not expecting initially coming in to buy comfortable walking shoes. I can continue to break them in, but I believe the description should mention that the shoes runs small and to get a half-size bigger regarding of function especially for folks with wider feet.

I tend to buy a pair each year and cannot recommend this year's 25. The decision to add fabric around the shoe's opening to include the pull-up loop means it now runs against my foot with athletic socks. Please remove this "improvement" from next year's model.

Got as a work shoe probably best as a running shoe. It's a pain just standing Im kind of surprised. My coworkers love them but for the price even at a discount rate, just isn't for me to justify buying again.

I have bought these shoes before but the sole of them has grown. This isn't a big problem for me as they are very comfortable but they are very LOUD! My new name is squeaky and if Eileen from Seinfeld had access to these shoes she would not of needed tic tacs.

Really disappointed with this Recent pair I purchased. I ran 500 miles in the previous pair of the same shoe with no issues. As I was breaking in this new pair, something was off with the toe box on the right shoe. It cost me the nail on my right big toe because of the lack of space. They were the exact same size as the previous pair, yet this pair was different for some reason. I had intended to wear them for my fist marathon, but decided on a different shoe due to the toe box issues with the right shoe. This pair has become a walking shoe, and it still aggravates my toenail if I walk long distances. Sad really. Loved the first pair alot. Second pair? Not so much.
