I have been loyal to the New Balance Fresh Foam More shoes for a long time - nothing came close to being as comfortable. UNTIL I tried these…wow! I am a new huge fan! Very comfortable

I’ve worn ASICS for over 20 years. I love the support and style of their shoes. The Gel Nimbus is my go to shoe. Keep them coming.

This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. No contest. I've just recently had to switch to a wide shoe in most brands. My last pair of Kayano's were fine in a regular width but I went to go try on some new ones and somehow I'm now a wide in Asics, Brooks, Hoka, etc., That being said, once I got the right fit these were seriously something to behold. With the high stack height they aren't the most stable shoe, but it also isn't a problem. I'm on my feet all day for work and when I try to sub in a pair of my other shoes I get halfway through the day and wish I hadn't. I just wish there were more colorway options!

Back last February I put in a review of these when I had first bought a pair. I was unsure about how I felt about them back then compared to the Nimbus 24. I want to put in an updated review, because after wearing them regularly for over 6 months, I'm a convert! Excellent cushioning and superior comfort. True, they're a different feel from previous Nimbus versions, but once you get over the unfamiliarity, they are great. I also had the impression at first that they were running a half-size large, but actually with more wear, I find that I wear the same size in the 25's as I did in the 24's. Highly recommend.

I have been running in the Nimbus shoes for at least 10 years. Just 5 stars all around. I used to get shin splints with other shoes, and have not had any issues with the Nimbus.

These are the cushiest shoes I've ever worn. I compared them to New Balance and Hoka. Hoka come close and are also really comfortable but these are more cushy.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka, Nike, Adidas

I jumped up to a Nimbus 25 from a 24 and its been a great transition. The 25 does offer more bouce, cushion and support. I would love to wear them all day as switching to other sneakers or dress shoes feels like a 100 year regression in comfort. Great shoe.

These are the first extra wide Asics I've bought, feet spreading, pinkie toe going numb on top of sore feet, plantar fasciitis. All the things. I purchased these, bought the expensive insoles to replace the insoles as I always do but wait a minute! These ECO Ortholite insoles are awesome. My feet feel great, I was able to run in them and no pain afterwards. Incredible really. I usually wear my running shoes for my morning time at the track but these, I keep these on. Gotta buy more of the same even if they aren't my favorite lime green styles. Recommended if you've sore feet that would like relief. Works for me.

Very cushiony, and light as a feather, they rival my favorite pair of sneakers which I'm sad to say they no longer make, Hoka Clifton Edge, but this is a great replacement.

I have been wearing Asics for years, mostly Kayanos, which I like very much. For some reason I decided to try both the Cumulus and the Nimbus and this shoe (Nimbus) is by far the most comfortable yet. They are just heavenly to wear and I wouldn't change a thing. I'm 64 with a history of plantar fasciitis and the shoes are like medicine. The Cumulus shoe is also very cushiony but not as comfortable nor as light and nimble as the Nimbus. Thank you for bringing such comfort and joy to my feet.

I have had two or more pairs of the Nimbus for the past 15 years and this is the best so far. Lightweight, more cushioning, and no loss in stability. Could not be happier with them.

I have been running in these shoes for about 5 weeks. I have been increasing my mileage on the weekends. Medium to longer runs seem much more comfortable. I don't feel beat up at the end. I have 3 things I have a had to change 1. The tongue strap I found to be abrasive against the front of my ankle and had an abrasion on my first run. So just cut it off. 2. The insoles are not self molding and I found I had sub metatarsal head pain. So ground off some rubber and they feel much better now. 3. I developed blisters on the dorsal lateral aspect of my 4th toes on longer runs. I have never had a running shoe do that. So I stretched them ground down the insole by my toes. And on longer runs wear bandaids. Overall I love how these make running feel and how I don't feel beat up after longer runs.

I’ve been trying to find shoes for walking for quite some time now. I’m not a tennis shoe person, but these have won me over. Great cushioning around the inside of the ankle but still the slim profile of the knit on the outside. I did end up ordering men’s for the color I wanted, just sized down 1.5 sizes. Great rebound effect with the sole on these. They’re a 10 in my book!!

I bought the 25 and used it in the Colonial Half Marathon in Williamsburg. It provided a tremendous amount of cushion and great bounce. It reminds me of the Hoka Bondi as to the amount of cushion, but the Nimbus fits me better. It is definitely wider than the Nimbus 24. I have used New Balance, Brooks, Hoka and Saucony in trying to find the best fit for me. For me, the 25 has been the best running shoe I have every owned. I have found that my practice and race times are faster as well.

I'm a neutral underpronator, and these shoes fit my needs in amazing fashion. Responsive yet plush, light and balanced. I honestly dont know how they pulled it off but wow! I'd put these a notch up from hoka clifton/machs, ultraboosts, nike air/zoom. Just try them on, thats all its going to take.

I just got the Gel-Nimbus 25 wide Island Blue/Sun Peach shoes today and they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever had. I got a 1/2 bigger for the right fit. I am a Type 2 diabetic and I need extra comfort and these shoes do it. I would like Asics to get the Gel-Nimbus 25 wide in the following colors: White, Orange, Lime Green and Hot Pink. I would buy all of those shoes.

I've got about 400 miles on these shoes and they've been great. I just ran my first full marathon and I did all of my training in these shoes including the race as well. My goal throughout training was to not get injured and these shoes really helped keep me injury free and my legs and feet feeling fresh. And even after 400 miles I feel like they still have a lot left to give. If you're looking for a comfortable shoe you can depend on these are it. My only flaw is they are a little tighter at the forefoot/mid foot so I had to skip the 3rd loop when lacing them.

I just got the lime gel-nimbus 25 shoes, and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I am type 2 diabetic, and these shoes have great comfort on my feet. I hope Asixs can get these shoes in the colors of orange and also hot pink for men.

I was nervous when I saw the change made with the new generation but I have been more-than pleased. I have tracked it and found that I, personally, run 20 seconds per mile faster on average. I need all the help I can get so I'm very impressed.
