I purchased two pair of tennis shoes and love them but the slides are WAY TOO LARGE FOR ME for the size I normally ordered, Rozanne Graf

I'm in Florida so living is casual. I wore the Hokas out to dinner and developed blisters on my bunions. The rubber is just too hard.

The slide is too wide for a woman's foot, walked right out of it. The molded insole ( looks like a Birkenstock dupe) is uncomfortable if you have any foot conditions that require a cushioned footbed. I would buy the original Hoka One slide again, but this one is a definite pass.

I bought these to help w a very painful bout of plantar fasciitis. And they are super comfortable when you put them on and stand still, or take just a few steps. But, as many others have observed, once you start walking, your feetor perhaps narrow feet like mineslide forward so that your toes are hanging over the front edge, and the arch support and heel drop become unaligned. I'm very disappointed that I did not heed the many warnings about this, especially since these shoes are not cheap. Should have found shoe with adjustable strap or a clog design.

I have Hoka sneakers, so I bought these recovery slides with high hopes. However, while the shoe is very lightweight, the material feels cheap and flimsy. The heel guard also makes a sound every time I step because my foot slides upward. I'm returning these and getting Oofos, which I have used previously and had a good experience with.
I'd also recommend:
Oofos

I'm not a fan of the material itself - it makes my feet sweat, so the shoes are uncomfortable to wear for more than a few minutes. They are also narrower than I expected. I sized up to an 8 (I normally wear a 7-7.5). I was hoping for a soft, comfortable recovery shoe to wear post-workout and unfortunately these are not it. I find myself avoiding these in lieu of more comfortable sandals.

Hoka seems to have changed these slides. They used to be great.
Now they are horrible.
Sizes don't fit, material has changed,

They are comfortable but the gray color isn't even close to the product photo. They are more of a light gray color as opposed to the dark two-toned gray as they appear on the website. It took 5 business days to send the exchange back and they say to allow 10 business days for them to ship out the replacement in a different color. So another 5 business days to ship to me will probably be close to a month. Pretty disappointing

These recovery slides are structured really well and support you in all the right places, but it's a real problem that they are unisex. First of all, women absolutely have to order a whole size smaller than they normally wear in a Hoka tennis shoe because they are huge. But even when you order it in a size smaller, the slides are so wide that they are sloppy on your feet and difficult to hold on. And I by no means have a narrow foot.
Please please do a separate women's and men's slide!

Disappointed. Read all the great reviews and could not believe for how expensive these were how bad they felt. Not comfortable. My $20 sliders feel & fit so much better.

I wear a women’s 5, but these were still too big. I wish they would make them smaller for petite people.

I love hoka shoes, but the slide sizes are universal and when buying for woman the slides are very wide. The men/women's length is good. This is the only reason I gave it 2 stars.

I wear these at all times around home. Unfortunately, the sizing has not made it possible to use it as a stepping out shoe. I have bought an insole to help with the sizing but it's not a pretty thing. I should have read reviews to see comments on the sizing before the purchase. My fault with this. However, I could have returned them but didn't since I'd hoped adding insoles would help and to an extent it has. I would still recommend these wholeheartedly because normally they're a great shoe. I will buy again in the future.

The shoe fits differently than the Version 2 -- not as snug around my foot - it's much larger than my Version 2's. The raised lip at the rear is not comfortable for my feet, and the footbed is very slippery. Also, it doesn't seem to have the same softness in foam. Please offer Version 2 again - it was perfect!!!

I recently bought a replacement for recovery slide I purchased last year. The new model has a lip around the edge of the heel. It is uncomfortable and rubs against my heel.

I used the interactive shoe size guide that they provide on the site. I wear a size 9 in women's shoes. The size guide told me repeated on that I needed a size 9M/11W. I tried deleting all my info and starting over, I tried entering lots of different shoe size info and got the same result.
So, I ordered them. HUGE!!!!
Clearly, the size guide for the recovery sandals is WRONG.
So, now I have to do an exchange - box these up, go to the post office, and then wait ? long until the replacements arrive (only after they receive my return, of course).
ALL this because they couldn't do the size guide right. You'd think a company that has a very limited number of shoe models would at least take the time to get sizing advice right.
I can't rate the slides since they are over an inch longer than my foot.
Assuming I receive the correct size (and they haven't sold out before I can get a replacement pair), I will update this review.

Way too big. My feet did not feel supported in these. Felt flimsy. Felt like my feet would not recovery in these. However, based on great reviews, I will be giving these another try and order a different size or style.

If your feet are really thick, this shoe will probably fit well. For me the strap goes way over the top of my foot, so there's no way to keep them on. If the strap were adjustable they would be great.
