My boyfriend had recommended Hoka's because he said a lot of nurses wear them (walking/standing). And I work in the restaurant industry so I do constant walking and I even had a lot of pain in my feet that eventually went up my leg and my hip. But I gave these sneakers a chance and when I tell you how LIGHT they are? They are as light as styrofoam. And the coolest thing is that the front part of the shoe is curved upwards so it feels effortless to walk. The soles are super comfortable and there wasn't much "breaking in" that I had to do. Comfortable from the start! I had to buy all black due to working at the restaurant but I'm honestly so down to buy the white ones that are prettier for every day wear. Love it! Thank you, Hoka!

I have been suffering from a bone spur and walking was unbearable especially on an incline at the gym. I tried everything to help with the pain. I decided to invest in my feet and purchase these sneakers. WOW WOW WOW WOW! I have ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN. I know the bone spur will not go away but just to be able to walk without limping and pain is so wonderful. These shoes are worth every penny to me.

No matter which Clifton number (currently 9), the shoes are consistently great!

These shoes have literally changed my life. I am an 82 heal old very active and have neuropathy. It's a joy walking in these shoes. I have bought 5 pairs since finding them about 2 months ago. Even bought my husband a pair as he's a New Balance die-hard. He's now been converted. Thank you, Hoka!

I normally wear a 6.5, but with socks, a 7 was a much better fit for me.

I'm not a runner, but I need good shoes to alleviate some foot issues: I need a neutral shoe since I supinate, rather than pronate. I need a wide toe box due to neuromas. I need good cushioning since, with age, I have less of a fat pad on the soles of my feet. This shoe does an excellent job of addressing all those foot problems. The cushioning is superb, exceeding all other shoes I've tried in recent years. My feet are happier than they've been in a long time! This is my first pair of Hoka shoes and I'm so glad I gave them a try.

I love these sneakers so much! It is well worth the price. I got white, so they got dirty pretty easily, but all I had to do was unlace the sneakers and throw them in the wash with some bleach and they looked brand new! They feel like I'm walking on air and they're very comfortable. I had to move in a bunch of freshmen for my school, and I was on my feet up and down stairs all day and my feet felt perfect after!

These are my second pairs of Hoka since my first one in two months.
So comfortable, a lots of arches support. I got bone break my great toe in April. These sneakers help me to go though after I quit the op shoes. They give me plenty secure for walking. Really give the help.
And they are so stylish. I got a lots of compliments from my coworkers and friends. So happy with that.
You can wear them with your casual dress or you leggings or whatever you want. These beautiful white sneakers can match everything.

I have high arches, supinate & my feet are a little wide. I have had a hard time finding shoes because I have had my right hip replaced & now I need my right knee replaced. It s been a battle. These shoes are awesome! I still have to try different shoes & I thank Hoka for making that possible. I have a white pair that I can wear all the time. I'm Grateful. I'm going to get another pair as soon as I can after my knee surgery in October.
Thank You Hoka! The best place to buy shoes.

I run (more like plod) and I am old. My legs take a beating and I used to get various foot pains. After this shoe (Clifton 9), I have none of those pains. Shoe feels light and is yet super supportive. Easily one of the best shoe I have ever owned.

I got these the day before a 4-hour flight. I wore them for both flights, there and back. They were great for trekking through the airports and keeping my feet warm and comfortable during the flight. I may order the wide width for my next pair. For now I have loosened the laces a bit.

I have a Morton's Neuroma and like to walk as much as possible. The wide toe box makes these shoes very comfortable for me. I had the Clifton 8 in a 6.5 regular width and loved it. For the Clifton 9 I sized down to a 6 wide to achieve the same level of comfort.

Loved my first pair but they completely wore out within 6 months. I am not a runner just an occasional walker. Returned for a full refund. Hoka stands by their shoes. Just purchased a second pair. Will see how they wear. Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned for walking. Just hope the Clifton 9 has some improvements over the 8 as far as wear goes.

It is a much lighter weight shoe, which I love. It is very comfortable and my feet are not tired or killing me after wearing them all day.

I have always been very active and had knee pain issues most of my life. I've been to orthopedic doctors, done tons of physical therapy, had shots in my knees and surgeries. Knee will eventually need to be replaced but just wanted to have less pain until then. I finally purchased my 1st pair of HOKA's after many of my friends and colleagues raved about how good they were. I absolutely couldn't believe how much less knee pain I had after just the first week of wearing them! I'm aware that shoes cannot resolve knee problems but to have so much relief from the pain that I've been suffering for the last 40 or more years has been next to a miracle. I have purchased several more pairs and, provided the pain relief continues, will purchase more and more pairs of HOKA's. I recommend them to everybody I know that have been suffering knee, hip, ankle and/or back pain. So far, when they purchase HOKA's, they agree with me.
I would have to say "I LOVE MY HOKA'S"

Read a lot of reviews about the Clifton 9 not as comfortable as the 8. I think the 9 fitting is more snug, and I like the fact that my feet is NOT wobbling, unlike the 8. Even though it was very comfortable but because the exterior fabric weave is looser, and the toe box area is wider, I can feel my feet shift when I am walking and working out. The is my 3rd pairs of HoKa sneaker, I have a pair of size 8 Clifton 8. wore that to Portugal and walk 5-6 miles a day and 8 mile hike. my feet never hurt for a sec.. I got a pair of Mach 5 when I got home, because I want a pair of shoe that is closer to ground since I wear it to do kickboxing sometime. all very comfortable. I normally wear size 8 but I got 7.5 M.

I bought these shoes for an upcoming summer trip where I plan to walk many miles every day. However, I might need to order a new pair before then because I've been wearing them so much already!! They're so cushioned and comfortable, and my feet feel well-supported. So far I've only used them for walking, but they seem like they'd be amazing for running as well.

I love these shoes. I have severe ankle pain from crushing all my leg ankle and foot bones. These are the first shoes i can wear without hurting my feet in years !
They are supportive and at the same time feel like I'm walking on clouds .

I finally gave into to all the hype and ordered a pair of Hokas. They are SO comfortable. Walking in them takes a bit of getting used to because the sole seems to be slightly curved and much thicker than other shoes I own, but they are super light and still really supportive.

I'll start out by saying I have a hard to fit, small, wide foot with a very high arch. I ordered several different brands of sneakers to try for comfortability and these were the pair I kept. Its like walking in slippers. I got the wide width and my toes are not crowded and sore at the end of the day. I did add an alternate orthodontic insert for extra arch support although the sneakers come with what I would think is an adequate footbed for most people with normal arches. Im planning on wearing them on a walking vacation in Europe in a few weeks.

I am a middle school custodian who does between 6.5 and 8 miles of walking on my feet per day 5 days a week. These Clifton 9's have been very supportive and are getting even better as I've worn them. They are light, bouncy but not too bouncy and I didn't need to order the wide like I do with other shoes. Very nice, will buy again.
