I brought 4 pairs of sneakers to replace my old Solomons which are no longer made. This pair was the best match for me and I returned the others. I had only walked around the house with them, but today after a short outdoor walk I realized I needed the inserts I use in all my other sport shoes. I am extremely disappointed to learn the insert in the Merrell sneaker toe in glued down!!! I removed it hoping with some prying I could get it out but instead the insert torn leaving just the toe portion in place. And now since they are damaged I will not be able to return them. I have always had sport shoes that allow the insert to be replaced for personal comfort and extended wear. I do have an image which is less than 8MB but it will not let me attach.

It says waterproof in description and they are not waterproof! My feet were soaked after wearing them in a light rain. They are very comfortable but also found they run 1/2 size too big.

I’m sure I’ll like these as much as the Antora 2 but I haven’t fully worn them yet. This review is mainly to call out that Merrell has decided to glue the insoles down in these shoes. I was highly disappointed to find this out when I went to put my own insoles in them. I was able to remove the Merrell insoles but not without having to use a butter knife to pry pieces of them out and gouging the footbed. I have two pairs of the Antora 2 and the insoles in those were not glued down.

I tried many, many pairs of similar shoes before deciding on this pair. I wanted a waterproof shoe, with all day comfort that I could wear hiking, or just walking around all day in wet climates. I did order a half size up on purpose, to allow for thicker socks and feet swelling from travel. The toe box is wider than other shoes I tried, which I like, it allows my toes to spread out and not feel cramped. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I love the Antora as both a trail walking/hiking shoe and as every day sportswear, and the 3 is even better than the 2. Lighter, more comfortable, but still feels just sturdy and confident walking in wet and unsteady conditions. Also a great shoe to wear to the wet fields for kid's sports every weekend morning! I have a wider foot and the medium fits really well.

Comfortable but unfortunately, it was a little loose in my heel even though length was right.

This Merrell sneaker has good basic comfort, toe box is roomy but 1st reason I have to return is because the insole is glued in and I need to remove it to replace with my orthotic. I don't like the idea of ripping out the original insole and hoping it comes out in one piece. 2nd reason is the color choices....not a fan of the green or the beige which were my first choices....I need to wear these in the city and general walking and they are not working for me. For reference I usually wear a 10.5 but the 10 in Merrell is better fit.

I am using a wheelchair most of the day but this sole is great for standing to do transfers! Gives me confidence. Attractive and I LOVE an all black sneaker... dress it up or down!

After to speaking with a rep they advised me that their newer model Antora 3 was far more comfortable. Straight out of the box there was no break in period and fit comfortably true to size. The vibram sole was not too stiff yet firm. These are extremely comfortable, like wearing a pair of slippers. Great job Merrell.

Fit was okay. However, I need orthotics in my shoes and when I went to remove the inner sole on the Merrells I found I could not remove it because it was glued in. For this reason I am returning them.

I needed a pair of shoes to walk through my Europe trip. These shoes took me to Italy, Germany & Prague! So comfortable and stable on my foot. Really happy with them.

Looking for waterproof sneakers for travel. The video on the Antora 3 mentions it is waterproof but no where in the description does it mention that. After purchase I read a review that mentions it is not. For that reason, I am returning.

These shoes seem to be a whole size larger than normal. I wear btwn 7.5 and 8. I purchased this in both size 8 and 7.5, and even 7.5 is a half size too large and have heel slippage. The whole shoe is pretty uniformly wide. It’s comfortable if I walk a few steps, but would not hold up to normal walking. It’s better suited for people with different foot type. I have thin feet (the distance from arch to top of foot is pretty small) normal width, with moderate arches and narrow heel.

This is my 4th pair of Antoras but the sizing off. It seems like a whole size larger than my previous other 3 pair. I've returned them and ordered a full size down. I really like the print so I'm hoping the smaller ones fit better.

I had a size 7 of the previous version and they felt a tad small but were comfortable. I bought a 7.5 this year and they feel loose all over even with an insert.

I love this print, but they're 3/4" longer than all of my Antora 2s in the same size! Sooner or later, that extra length at the toe would trip me. If I were to re-order, I'd try a whole size down, but instead, I've returned them, and will see if there are any Antora 2s left. (For comparison, I've owned a handful of Moab 2s, and a handful of Antora 2s, all of them size 9.5.)

I have gone through a couple pairs of Antora 2 sneakers for work (hospital RN, 12 hour shifts) and I absolutely loved every pair. It was time to buy a new pair of shoes so I bought a pair of the Antora 3. Despite buying the same size (8.5), the fit is longer and wider than expected. The sole feels cheaper - lighter in weight, but ridged and in need of breaking in. After switching shoes I noticed more lower back and knee pain after my shifts, and I'm hoping this resolves once the shoes break in a little more. The overall style is great and the rainbow color way adds interest and a much needed pop of color to my all white nursing scrubs. Overall, the Antora 3 are ok, but I want my Antora 2 back.

I loved the shoe looking down on it, however from the side it looked clunky. The arch support was positioned to far back and made the shoe very uncomfortable. The Antora 2 was a much more stylish shoe.
