Pleased with this shoe. Very sturdy. I have so many foot issues, but the wide in this shoe seemed to do the trick, even for the hammer toes. I needed more arch support, so added a Pedag insole that also has metatarsal support. I have another pair I wear for gardening, and they've held up well. Try this one -- you'll like it.

I've waited for several years for the Encore to be available in leather (or water proof) uppers. Now that the weather is wet/snowy, I can just slide into them and go! This is so important!

The Encore Nova 5 clogs were perfect! My flat, narrow feet perfectly fit, they don't slip off. Very comfortable, light and just enough height. Unfortunately, I feel that it's not my style. I'd like to try another style with a little heel. But I really love these clogs!

I love the ease of these shoes for everyday. I wear them to work, shop, and walk. The wide width that Merrell offers works perfectly for my feet, and the fact that they are waterproof is even better.

I love these almost as much as I always have. It seems, however, that the quality of the footbed has been diminished. I bought them, in part, because my feet were tiring quickly in my old Merrell's. That's still true with this which has never happened before. Sad.

A bit more narrow than previous Encore versions and not as supportive. I really miss the Encore Nova 1s and 2s. Now that they are broke in, I no longer feel like my forefoot is being compressed and so far my feet and back don't hurt at the end of the day. Not sure they are worth the price compared to the Encore Nova 1s and 2s. Only time will truly tell.
Merrell, please bring back the Encore Nova's so many of us have grown to love and rely on! They are the only shoe I were for work and a great example when I am educating my patients on proper supportive footwear.

I have been a big fan of Merell clogs/shoes for a number of years and have purchased four or five pairs. These Merrells are different-- they look nice, but the fit and feel are very different and not nearly as good! My last pair purchased was a little snug with heavier winter socks, so I ordered this one a half size larger. The shoes were mega big and the fit felt sloppy and all wrong.

These are my Fall-Winter-Spring indoor slippers -- warm, sturdy, and I feel very safe walking in them. And they're just as good if I have to nip outside briefly. I can wear them comfortably with or without socks. Not so glamorous in style, but I'm into surefooted treading these days and they look fine with jeans or pajamas.

Very comfortable, but Zappos advised I go a half size up.; however, fit was big overall. Am going to exchange. The maroon color adds a bit more style to this plain Jane clog.

I needed a wider width after a recent ankle injury. The encore nova 5 did not come up too high to rub the swollen ankle and the wide widthwhich were hard to findfit the bill. I'm able to take the dog on our hikesalthough I'm still limited to flatter groundbut expect to be back to hill's & dales soon. Shoes are great.

This newly styled Merrill is fabulous; I have probably purchased hundreds of the last styling and as such was loathed to change, BUT someone finally changed a great shoe for a greater shoe! LOVE THEM!
