Very comfortable hiking shoes. Mizuno produces outstanding shoes. I have several pairs of Mizuno shoes, from running to hiking. My profession requires me to be on my feet all day. Comfortable and durable shoes.

I think the last trail model shoe I ran in was an adidas called the "thrasher" and I was drawn to this shoe in part because the Michelin tread way reminded me of the aggressive pattern I remember from those shoes. I work at a running shoe specialty and the pocket in the tongue to protect your laces and prevent them getting caught up is a feature none of the trail shoes we sell possess. My alma mater has a blue and yellow sports team jersey so the available color ways matched one of my personal preference, and they felt great on my first jog around the neighborhood and down a dirt road. They cleaned up easy the first time they got muddy. Looking forward to a lot of great trails ahead
