Attractive boots, if plain. The shaft was too large for my calves. So I returned them. They did seem well made and nice leather though. The soles are too slick. Why do they make slick soles on boots you are going to wear in the winter?? They need lug soles or at least grippy soles. Might be good for going clubbing or to the movies, or in states without snow and ice; but not for Colorado.

Fit was fine . The upper boot was nice leather and just what I wanted. BUT the sole was a hard slick plastic. It was a safety hazard on carpet and totally unsafe for snow or ice conditions.

I was worried because my calves are muscular from skiing and I usually have to get wide calf boots, but these fit! I don't think I can wear jeans tucked inside, but I really intend to just wear them with dresses. Good quality boots and very soft leather. They are simple and classic.

I really wanted to love these boots but ended up returning them. The leather is great quality - and I think the price point is good value for the quality you get. The width of the calf just about fit my wide legs so I would say they are suitable for those with medium calfs. The foot is rather hard/solid and there is very little softness to the inner sole. The sole itself has practically no grip/tread. The leather bunched up around my ankle which did not look too good and was a little uncomfortable.

Leather is extremely soft and comfortable. Boots are true to size to a little roomy. Great with thicker socks. Very versatile look and we’ll priced addition for 3 seasons of wear in IL.

Fits perfectly are comfortable and I was love at first sight, I love my boots

Had to re-order 1/2 size larger. Happy now

Update to previous review, I mentioned how to make the bottoms less slippery that would be by rubbing a coarse piece of sandpaper to the bottom and heel.

I love these boots; I've been looking everywhere for a simple black leather boot and finally found them. The fit is perfect, the bottoms as mentioned in other comments are a little slippery, so I took a piece of course sandpaper to them, and it did the trick. I would recommend these boots!

Soft leather. Beautiful structure and look. As mentioned, no traction on bottom. Fit my 15" calves. While not narrow, they will look prettier on a more slender foot. Loved them, but had to return.

The outer material did not feel like real leather. Felt rather cheep. But the fit was uncomfortable for me.

I am sad to return these boots because they look very cute but they are not comfortable at all. They run small, there’s little padding/arch support inside and the worst part is the bottom has no tread. I wouldn’t even feel safe wearing outside my house because they are extremely slippery

Really badly designed boots, the sole does not bend, so impossible to walk.

The boots smelled like manure and I had to put the box with the boots outside so the room wouldn't stink.
