Warm and comfortable slippers. Stains easily and does not hold up well. Inside wore too fast and the outside seam came apart. Not heavily worn, only during winter months and inside shoes only on carpeting. Not worth $90 investment if they fall apart after one winter.

I owned these slippers years ago and they lasted 15 years. They are still very warm but I would like to know why someone would put a tag INSIDE the slipper. Granted, after my foot goes in, I don't feel it anymore but why do it in the first place?

I'm giving them all stars because I really wanted to love these and think they are absolutely adorable. Sadly I had to return them because they made me feel a bit off balance. I didn't realize when I purchasing that there is some kind of cushion in the center of the sole. I'm sure this is good for some but I specifically wanted the leather sole with nothing in between, a bit like a traditional moccasin. Because the cushion is only in the middle of the footbed and doesn't seem to extend to cover the whole making for a bit of a wobbly step. It was very uncomfortable for me. I very much wanted to love these and I would recommend if you don't mind the cushioned center. I wear a size 7.5-8 in most shoes and I would say these fit true to size. They are extremely soft, cozy and absolutely lovely.

My new LLBean Wicked Good slippers arrived the other day. I purchased them for the 3rd time after two other wonderful pairs wore out over the span of 12 years or so. Although they are the typical toasty warm nice quality slippers I have become accustomed to, I was greatly disappointed to find out that they SQUEAK on hard floors!! Every. Single. Step. I am not happy about this at all. What on Earth did they add to the sole that makes them squeak so bad with every step? The squeaking sounds like wet sneakers on a gym floor. The sound is freaking out my cats and I find myself wanting to walk gingerly to avoid the noise, but it's impossible. After all these years of being an LLBean slipper customer, I am considering returning them and looking elsewhere. Also, I wish they had a Women's Wide size, as I had to purchase the Men's Size 8 Medium slipper. Ladies -- FYI, if you need a Wide slipper, the Men's Medium width is the same as a Women's Wide width. You just need to find out your equivalent shoe size in Men's. For me, a Women's 9 Wide is the same as a Men's regular size 8. LLBean, please offer more Women's Wide shoe/slipper sizes, and please stop the squeaking in the slippers!!!

Love these slippers! Warm and cozy. The only change I would make is to remove the label inside the slipper. It can be irritating when I am not wearing socks..

I bought half a size larger as instructed and they were much too big, reordered half a size smaller and they fit much better. Toe bed is a little narrow for my toes, but overall they are very warm and cozy. Glad I bought them.

For at least the last 30 years, I have had L.L. Bean wicked good boot slippers. My grandparents used to buy them for me until they wore apart and then I'd get a new pair. I just bought probably my 20th pair in my lifetime and they are the worst quality so far! They are very thin, not as luscious to put your foot in and the structure is just not the same. The price is higher and the quality is much much lower. Very disappointed.

I have owned a pair of these slippers for many, many years and wore them out to the point that my feet were hanging out of the top of them and yet I continued to wear them. They were so comfortable and warm I didn't want to give them up. My husband promised to buy me another pair this past Christmas if I threw away the old pair. Boy was I disappointed when I put these new slippers on. Did you change manufacturers? They are still warm but the shearling is not nearly as soft and warm as before and the construction of the slipper is not comfortable. One slippers fits fine but the other turns in. Also, I used to be able to walk outside and get the paper in these slippers because the bottom was made of leather or some other durable material. I am returning this pair of slippers in the hopes that maybe I received a defective pair. I will be seriously disappointed if the next pair that arrives is of the same quality and construction.

Very dissappointed in this item. They donot compare to the slippers I ordered before. Leather is thin, fleece is thin, stitching is very skimpy. No trim at all. Very light weight too compared to previous pair. Quality has diminished completely. All I have positive to say is, that they are leather. A substantially smaller bit of leather for sure! I Ordered a pair women's wicked slippers 2 years ago from LLBean that were fantastic in quality. They are still in great shape and have not worn except a bit inside where your heel rests on the wool.I gave them away to one of my children because I planned to purchase another pair. Low and behold, was I surprised! No, I am not happy with the product, they are drugstore slippers. They will need to be replaced before the winter is out! They will never hold up to daily use. I hope you find a new source of shearling slippers. What happened with the supplier from 2 years ago? I have ordered many other items in the past from LLBean and all have been of terrific quality. What happened here?

I bought a pair of these for myself 10 years ago & they have just started to wear out. I bought a pair for my daughter 2 years ago & they're already beat. The suede on the new pair is paper-thin. Very disappointing.

QCinRI is right. These used to be excellent slippers, comfortable beyond belief, but for whatever reasons Beans has used thinner lining, and eliminated the front seam. The result is what I would have given top ratings now gets the lowest. What a disappointment!

They look really nice, but the leather ripped the third time my wife pulled them onto her foot. Not a good deal!

I've had these for years. They're wonderfully comfortable, but after a while as the sole wears down and gets slick. I slipped and had a terrible fall on my stairs (not carpeted). They should be made with a rubber sole, even a thin one -- something for traction. Reluctantly, I would not recommend them, especially for an older person. I think they're dangerous, and I am young & relatively fit with good balance!

I have bought many pairs of these slippers (about 5 pairs over the years) This last pair I bought in July. They are already wearing out! The inside is worn down to the point of the shearling is gone and my heel is being rubbed so that it is uncomfortable. I wear these all the time when I am inside. I don't know what happened this time, but I don't plan on buying another pair.

I am so disappointed in these slippers. I have purchased them in the past and have always loved them. I purchased my usual size via internet but then had to return those because they were too small. I ordered the next larger size which fit better, but are not properly constructed (as seen by the seam line that "should" go straight down the middle of the slipper but does not) which makes them hit my toes and they are very uncomfortable. very disappointed.

My husband and I both have been purchasing these slippers for years and love them. However, I purchased a new pair of them this year, and they have completely changed for the worse. Apparently they have changed manufacturers, and the cut/fit is terrible, and the quality has been reduced significantly. I am so disappointed because we have loved these so much in the past! As much as I loved these in the past, I am having to return them.

My wife wore a hole thru in less than one season and she didn't wear them very much. So we would not recommend them.

I had purchased these to replace my old wicked good slippers which I loved. The website hasn't been updated yet, but they changed the design to match that of the men's slippers. The new ones do not keep the front of my ankles warm, and they are not as nice. If you like the old design, then don't buy these. If I'd wanted men's slippers, I would have ordered them. I don't know why they try to fix what isn't broken.

I ordered these slippers last year and I wore them a lot because they're so comfy. HOWEVER, after a few months the stitching on the side started to unravel and a hole began to show. They were so disappointing that I hope Bean has fixed this problem!

I purchased these slippers for my wife for Christmas and she loved them. She wore them all the time around the house. Unfortunately by mid-February there were holes in both slippers from the seams falling apart. She returned them to L.L.Bean and ended up getting a different pair of slippers that were less comfortable but more durable.

I have been on a quest to find the best, warmest slippers. I purchased these and they meet most of my requirements. Out of the box, they seem well made and comfortable except for one thing...they are way too small. I wear an 8.5 shoe. I ordered the 9 and it fits like an 8. Returning for a 10. I have never in my life ordered a size 10 shoe until now. I hope it's not too big. Really surprised at LL Bean's quality control.

I am a 9.5–The size 9 is a little snug in the toe box right now, but I am confident that it will stretch as I wear these in. (I can tell that my heel would slip out if they were any larger.) These slippers are so cute, cozy, and comfortable! I love how they come up to my ankles. They are snug enough to not move around when you walk. The tags on the inside were horribly annoying, but they easily and cleanly ripped right out. I was worried that the leather sole would make these shoes slippery on our non-carpeted floors, but that is not the case. So far, I really like these slippers!
