initial impression was very good, very positive.Good fit. But, what I find interesting about the culture of "reviews" is that I have worn these twice. How do I know how they really fit? How do I know about quality? How long will they last? Ask me in 9 months

Ended up getting these in a wide size. Determining that I might be wearing thicker socks with them, it was the correct move. They fit really well and are very comfortable. Nice traction for walking on frozen ground and snow covered trails. The waterproofing works great, the only complaint is that there is not much insulation. 10 minutes in single digit temps and my feet were feeling uncomfortably freezing.

These boots run very large. I normally wear a 10.5 but I had to order a 9 in this boot. They are disappointingly uncomfortable. They tie up nice and stay tied well but the sole/footed is not forgiving. I wear them to work on a concrete floor for 9 hours a day and walk about 5 miles within that day. I can stand to wear these boots 2 days in a row and then I have to switch because the bottoms of my feet hurt. They are good and waterproof though. I also work in a very wet environment and I have not ever had wet feet in these boots.

I've been wearing these everyday all winter. No problems, they feel great. On my feet 8 to 12 hours almost everyday on concrete. I'll buy another pair if the color comes back in stock. I guess Rockports do rock! Photo is after 5 to 6 months and I haven't cleaned them lately.

I have enjoyed wearing these. Fixing to order another pair just to make sure I have them again for next year. Photos show after a month or more of daily wear.

Very stylish, comfortable and high quality shoes! I am not a person to wear rocky shoes but I liked it because it's very stylish and I loved the combination of brownish colors! Highly recommended

I like the style and comfort of these shoes - very happy with purchase. I pulled back a star on comfort as the inserts have no arch support. I’ve added inserts from my running shoes and that worked well. I’ve had Rockport shoes before which have had better cushioning and support. Depending on brand, my feet run between 9.5 and 10 - these fit me well at 9.5 (my Brooks and ASICS running shoes are consistently size 10).

Very comfortable. I have trouble with my feet. These boots have become my favorite cold weather shoe. I wish you had them in stock!! Rick from Pennsylania

I wore these very heavily for a year. They are fantastic for hiking, very comfortable, and look great. However, they are less durable than expected. The brown color started wearing through in a few months, and within 6 month they started leaking in the rain. Waterproof boots are generally best when they are made of fewer parts, and these clearly have too many. Overall, would still recommend for hiking. Just don't count of the waterproofing lasting in the long run.

I bought these because I have two other pairs of Rockport boots which I love. My intent was to get these for a trip to a wet and cold location and needed some waterproof boots. I found these at a good price so bought them now to get them broken in before my trip, I will say they are comfortable like my other pairs; I just needed to add some additional insoles (I do this with pretty much all the shoes I own). In the last two weeks, I have used them in mild wet conditions and it feels like the toe area of both seem damp and the front part of my insole. I do not have sweaty feet and I am wearing medium weight socks with them. I think if these are not waterproof as stated, I may have to find another pair for my trip or see if spraying them with sealer will help.

Less than 4 months into wearing these to work mon-fri 8-5 on wet concrete floors and they are done. Toe is peeling, feet are wet at times and feet ache by Wednesday. I will say the laces are very nice. I do kot recommend these boots for regular wear.

Fit well, comfortable. Unfortunately, after 4 months one of the eyelets gave way and asked for a new pair. I don't think the flaw was the manufacturer. It looks like a piece of material failed.

Haven't bought Rockport shoes in over 20 years. Used to love them. The problem with these boots was the lack of vertical room in the toe box. Won't be buying anymore of your shoes.

Plenty of room for my wide feet; but I needed to purchase insoles to replace the 1/8" insoles that came with the boots. After a simple walk on gravel, I bought better insoles. (This was the first time I bought footwear with no reviews.)

Very cheap materials and construction. Similar to what is available at Wal-Mart with the exception that Wal-Mart is 1/3 the cost. The Rockport name means very little anymore.

This lasted about 3 months as a work boot (construction) . Would have been better as a more casual boot.

These boots are not as comfortable as the other rockports i have gotten used to wearing. Every pair i have worn in the past has been great right out of the box. Wanted to to like these boots, but they are just not comfortable to me.
