I bought a pair in black in late November. Wore them on 3 trips where I walked 4-6 miles (20-30k steps) a day. This included concrete, cobble stone, dirt, gravel, mud, rain/sun, and very light snow/slush. light hiking in the mountains. These shoes provided excellent traction and support, kept my feed dry in the rain and slush, and were comfortable all day long. I estimate I've gone maybe 350 miles on this pair and they look almost new (they clean up easily). Much better than the equivalent shoe from Timberland.

Bought these last November. Have worn them almost every week day and took the. In 3 trips where I did 5-6 miles of hiking/walking every day, including cobble stones, dirt trailer, light bouldering, concrete sidewalks,, light snow, slush and heavy rain. I estimate I've done over 200 miles in them so far. Through this all they have been comfortable, kept my feet dry, and they still look nearly new (and clean up easily! Vastly better than the similar product from Timberland.

These shoes are far more sturdy than I expected and the leather seems different than my boat shoes. I shined them with regular shoe polish to protect them and the shine is beautiful. I expect that they will see hard use. Thanks!

Not for bare feet. Beautiful shoe and amazing workmanship, but I was expecting a boat shoe. So, considering I would have to wear socks with these (the inside lining is not raw leather, like a boat shoe), they were too narrow for my wide feet. But, other than that, classic disco boot. Would have been great on the dance floor.

These are much better quality than a similar shoe from a big name competitor. Almost every other shoe company has cheapened their products. I'm glad to see Sperry has maintained quality. Despite the higher price these are a much better value than others.

In the past, I have at times had a problem with the Wide fit (often quite narrow). However these have the perfect fit. The style nicely takes over from the 'boat' shoe to a 'street' shoe and for the coming colder months, the lug sole will be great.

Shoes really fit well! I ordered half size larger with regular width. The other pair came in wide width, so I ordered in my regular size. Really love my Sperries! Have always worn Sperries.

I have worn Sperry Topsiders for at least 30 years. These Lug 3-eye Boat shoe are excellent. In the same week, I also bought your Mako Boat Shoe and Bahama II Sneakers. All excellent. I was disappointed that a leather lace on the Lug 3-eye Boat Shoe broke in a couple of weeks. I was not expecting that to happen.

I really like the style and the leather quality. The sale price is very enticing. I would give them 5 stars if the color matched the picture. The pair I got had a lighter brown.

Looks great! I have been waiting for wide widths of the lug sole boat shoe for a while. However they are still a bit narrow in the toe area, but I still need to break them in. Swear by Sperrys!

The shoes are all that I hoped for except the color of the leather of both shoes is noticeably darker in the front, toes forward, and lighter going back to the heel. It looks like there was a problem in manufacture. Otherwise, they feel great and otter great stability when walking.

When I first put the shoes on I thought there must be some mistake. They were so painful on my feet and stiffly uncomfortable. I took them off right away. Inspected them and thought oh there's an insert here that's got to go. I tried walking around on the shoe without the insert or what I thought was the insert and that was no better. They are great boating shoes. Great on my boat, but they are not a walking shoe. I think instruction manual and caveat

As with all Sperry TopSiders I like the look and fit. This shoe, however, is not quite what I expected. I'm not even sure what it is made of. From your web site I thought I was buying a smooth leather upper which is what I have always purchased in the past. This material resembles leather but is more of a split cowhide than tanned leather. After a month of wear I'm getting shiny spots on the toe area. Can this shoe be polished? Not my favorite shoe.
