I have had little luck with Xero shoes, unfortunately. The sizing is a bit weird. Even though these shoes are considered true to size, they are not. My toes were right to the end of the shoe and the pressure of the canvas on my toes was immediately uncomfortable. I was afraid to go up a half size because I was almost positive they would have been too big. A friend that loves the Aptos insisted they would have stretched out. I wasn't willing to take the chance. Ordering on Zappos for these shoes was the way to go. Easy returns. The Xero website is harder to deal with and you need to pay shipping for returns. Stick with Zappos to try these, and all Xero shoes, is my advice. Thanks, Zappos! Btw, I have Prios by Xero and love them. But so far, I've shipped back 3 pairs of Xeros over the course of time. A big pain that sizing is so off.

I had manifested these shoes and found them here and pretty darn pleased. They totally support my feet with soft padded sides, plenty of toe room and just the right sole height, almost like wearing moccasins. I have one foot that overpronates so I plan to put in a small arch support in one shoe. I bought the blue pair first then the black and sprayed them with fabric protector but will put them in a bag and wash them when they get dirty. I took out the foot insert and put in a thin cork insert as you see in my picture. I wear a 9 and maybe I could have liked a 9 1/2 better. They give the stability needed to hold the foot in a cozy surrounding.

Love how comfortable these are. I have extra wide feet but they fit great. I could see that someone with a smaller ankle the back might rub. But for me they’re great

Love these!!! Not 100% sure I can say they are wider than normal. It may be the material that allows my feet to fit comfortably within them. These are my new day to day go to shoe <3

Nice 'barefoot' shoe option. I purchased my usual size and the fit was perfect. Very comfortable and no break in period. I wear a lot of barefoot type shoes / slippers so I am used to the feel of the shoe. Adequate padding in the sole. I left in the sock liner. Substantial enough to feel like a shoe but also very soft and flexible. Very lightweight. I can see a lot of uses for this shoe in my travels.

These are great looking. Great quality. I'm trying wide toe box, I'm just not ready for this flat.

I echo what other reviewers say about Xero shoes - the sizes are inconsistent. My foot is swimming in this particular style. Even though I am in-between sizes and I ordered a 9 as recommended, the fit is loose. Zappos is the place to order Xero shoes for this reason. I own a pair of prios and they fit perfectly. If possible, and you're not sure of the style and how the shoe is going to fit, bypass the Xero website ( returns are a total pain and take forever!) and go straight to Zappos. On the plus side, if you get the fit right, Xeros feel the most comfortable of any barefoot shoe I've tried.

Though it stated M width, this brand is known for its wide toe box but still wasn’t wide enough for my comfort level. Overall it is a nice casual shoe.

Returning because the recommended size was too small and the next size up is unavailable in the color I want. I have two other styles in Xero shoes, both size 10. This was a 10.5 at Zappos' recommendation and it was still too small. I've seen other complaints about sizing and I hope Xero can correct this problem.

I really liked these shoes, and I'd say the length and width are accurate. However they are not for low volume feet/skinny ankles--even with a fairly thick insole I still had a lot of room between my foot and the upper and the collar was loose around my ankles. So unfortunately I had to return them.

I bought two pairs of xeros in the same size. These were a full 3/4 too big and the other were just right. Same company Luckily it is easy to return this pair-but really? That much difference Xero?

I have hard to fit feet. Wide in the toes but not the rest of my foot. I ordered my usual size, but my big toe hits the end of the shoe. I can’t size up because the rest of the shoe is on the loose side. So they’re too big & too small at the same time. I ordered 2 different styles of Xeros, and they both fit the same. Unfortunately this brand is not for me.

Kinda big, heel came up too high to be comfortable for me. Cute shoe and well made though.

This is not a true barefoot shoe. The height of the sole is too much. My back was hurting from using it for two days at work.

Too flat and no arch support. I knew that when ordering but wanted to see if this trend in healthy feet felt good. I will stick to shoes with arch support.
