Ryka has become my favorite brand of casual shoe for the great fit and variety of colors. I am relatively new to the brand. I have bought these in several colors. I'm a senior citizen so perfect fit and comfort are of prime importance for everyday foot-wear. With such a wide variety of colors these can even coordinate with my colorful wardrobe. I definitely recommend them!

I walked all over Tokyo in these. They were terrific on wet stones too!

The box said size 8 1/2. The shoes side were 9 1/2… otherwise they look lovely. I like the vibrant soul and the fact that they are water repellant.

What a surprise to be able to try these amazing shoes out! The colors are vibrant and the shoes are so comfortable. In the dewy area that I live, it is so nice to be able to wear something that is water resistant to keep my feet dry.

These Ryka hiking shoes are very comfortable but a little narrow. I would probably order a Wide next time. They kept me pretty dry while testing them out. They have a rubber toe that is water proof. I'm not that into the color but it serves its purpose for hiking shoes. I really enjoyed the shoes but maybe next time I'll have to try thinner socks so it doesn't feel so narrow or tight. The sizing is right on but I do have wider feet and depending on the brand it isn't really an issue with ordering Medium width. Overall nice steady shoes.

The. Most. Comfortable. Hiking. Shoes. Ever! Not to mention that they are super cute and don't look like hiking shoes - they look like a tennis shoe and don't look out of place anywhere! They are very comfortable inside - with arch support and heel support. The cushion around the ball of the foot makes is easy to walk even on concrete. The sole of the shoe keeps your ankle from rolling even on the most uneven surface and it has excellent traction - no slips even on wet stone. The material is water resistant so you can walk through morning or rainy grass without getting your feet wet. I wear my Ryka shoes to work where I'm on my feet on concrete all day long - and my feet don't get as tired as they did in my previous tennis shoes. I will definitely take these to all my travels - looking forward to summer when we can get some real mountain hiking in the books.

I'm an avid walker and hiker and am always on the search for a good comfortable pair of sneakers. I was so excited to try the Ryka Kenai Trail Hiking Shoes. They were so great! They're so lightweight, sturdy, comfortable, with great arch support. I can not say enough good things about these shows! Their suede is no nice and overall makeup of the shoe is such great quality! I am so impressed by how truly lightweight and non bulky they are compared to other hiking shoes. I was so happy to have discovered these shows and plan to purchase another color as well!

I was so excited to receive these hiking shoes and immediately put them on and noticed how comfortable they were! The definitely are a little heavier than my normal running shoes but not by much. They have great traction for steep climbs and I love the colors! I definitely would recommend these and would buy them in the future!

I was really excited to try out this Ryka hiking shoe, as I frequent National & State Parks as well as hike nearly every weekend on my 135 acre property. The shoes fit very well and are true to size. They are not heavy, feel light on the foot, yet provide great sturdy support. I recently went hiking in Acadia National Park in Maine and would have loved to have these shoes for that trip. On that trip, I wore bulky high ankle boots, but the hikes involved climbing metal rungs on the side of mountains and climbing over and under rocks, and I really lacked the flexibility I needed in the ankle. The fact that these are supportive, yet allow for ankle movement would have been really great for a hike of that nature. A nice feature of this shoe is that they repel water and keep your feet dry. The laces stay tight and I have had no issues with them coming untied. The sole of the shoes also have a great tread and work well with preventing slippage. They provide good arch support although I would have loved to have a bit softer insole, as I did experience some discomfort under my toes after wearing them for an extended period of time. Overall, they are a supportive and well made shoe and I look forward to using them on many future hikes.

I enjoyed this classier looking hiking shoe so much I am wearing it for errands too. I do wish that it came in a narrow width, since I am needing to wear real thick socks with it, but the comfort is great. I am taking it on a trip to Europe to wear too.

I love my new shoes! They are very comfortable and stylish. I've had issues with my feet for years and have gone through many shoes. These are the first shoes in a long time that don't make my feet hurt. The only (small) complaint I have is that the laces could be better. They feel insubstantial compared to how well the actual shoe is made. Overall, I highly recommend the Ryka trail hiking shoe.

Cool styling and color combo. Love the ripstop fabric and the rugged tread for hiking. Unfortunately only available in the medium width and the toe box was too narrow so the fit was too tight. Had to return.

These are great looking shoes but I'm not sure the fit works for me. They are a bit tight across the ball and a bit loose at the heel. I suppose my feet are slightly wide? Many other hiking brands are too tight across the ball area for me. The 9.5 (green) and 10 (yellow) seem quite close in length. I usually wear a Merrell regular width and size up to 10 just to protect my does in downhill, where the 9.5 regular also fits. In this shoe, I could only wear the 10 and I'm still not sure the width would work.

I tried these Ryka Kenai hiking shoes for a couple of weeks before writing my review. The fit is great. I 0refer a snug shoe and these were exactly what I need. Style is not my favorite but they do the job for all of the different trails that we have nearby which consist of sandy and marshy. I normally have problems with foot cramps if my shoes are not solid, well thought out shoes. I did not have that problem with these new Ryka's.

Although the sizing was good, I didn't like the overall feel of these on my feet. They felt stiff, very little cushion on my soles and they looked rather cheaply made.

I was looking for a pair of walking shoes with good support and these seemed to be comfortable and supportive, but I only had them on for a few minutes, because as soon as I started walking, a very big fold appeared across the top of both shoes that pressed down uncomfortably on my feet with every step. They also felt cheap. I returned them.

They were too narrow for my foot so I sent them back. I really want a pair of sky walk trail shoes in 8.5 wide but you don't have any of those left.

I fell in love with these shoes upon arrival, especially the color. I've only worn them 5 times - twice hiking, once traveling and two nights of concerts. They did not get wet, so I can't attest to being water resistant. They are very comfortable while walking out hiking but hurt when standing still. I added inserts for arch support. The fabric by the ankle quickly became scuffed and even tore a bit which is very disappointing considering the cost of the shoe and the fact that I hadn't worn them much

These are great! Except they are too tight for ME across the instep for my particular foot shape. Toe box is good size, heel is good size. There is a strip of stiff fabric (leather?) on the outer side of the shoe that squeezes my foot. Sadly, I will need to return them.

I've bought many, many pairs of Ryka. I stick with this brand because they normally fit so well. This pair, not so much. The first time I put them on, I could tell the heel would be a problem. I've tried them with the original insert, with a Protalus insert, and with heel protector pads, but the heel still rubbed till the skin was red. Today I'm trying them with the heel pad and 2 inserts: a flattish one from an old pair of Rykas and a Protalus insert. We'll see how it goes. I'm very disappointed. If I can't trust the sizing from a brand I've been wearing for many years, I might have to go back to buying shoes at a brick-and-mortar store, where I can try shoes on before I buy them.

I had high hopes for these shoes. But 3 wears in (just a short walk each time) the fabric has already torn in multiple places. Returned.
