What I like: the styling on this boot is exactly what I wanted — classic, not too many buckles or straps, comfortable heel height, seems sturdy and durable. What I don’t like: 1) while the description claims there is metatarsal support in the insole, there is none. Compared to a similar Taos boot from a few years ago, they’ve removed the little metatarsal cushion that used to be standard in the insoles. So that’s a bummer because few shoes offer this level of support. 2) it’s annoying to have to re-lace the boot every time you get in or out of it. Other boots have d-rings that would keep the laces secure if you unzip but these don’t, so the laces fall off when you unzip. 3) I am a true size 11 in US women’s shoes and the size 42 is snug on me, and feels a little narrow. With a thin sock, it’s wearable, and I’m hoping they’ll stretch a little.

The quality of these boots is horrible as well as customer service. I have only worn my boots twice because they SQUEAK very loud when I walk. I tried removing the insoles and they STILL SQUEAK. I contacted customer service at TAOS and they don't seem to care.

This boot fit in expect for the upper part of the toe box. Pressed down on my big toe only. Bummer.... really like this style. The padding around the the top was a nice addition.

Pretty pricey, but Taos Footwear is worth it. I am textbook size 39/8.5 and the 39 is perfect, just as expected. Plenty of space for my slightly wider feet with bunions. Super comfortable with no break in needed. What I really like about these boots is they somehow amazingly span the military combat style from serious to elegant. Super nice quality, as is to be expected with Taos. True to size.

Fit perfectly for my size 7.5 foot

These are amazing boots, took no time at all to break in. The material is solid with extra padding around the ankle. Size 40 fits my size 9 feet superbly. Nothing about these boots feels cheap at all, sheer quality inside and out. Great style, hard to find combat type boots with this much style and elegance.

Great shoes

I had to return these because I have a narrow ankle & heel. But the shoe is gorgeous and well made.

While I love the look of the boots, my heels were not comfortable in them so I know they would not work for the purposes I need them for… Lots of walking while traveling. I need something with structure but softer on my feet.

I love the look of these boots, and the quality is top notch. Unfortunately, the size 42 (size 11) fit more like a 41 (size 10) and Taos doesn’t make anything larger. Bummer!

Tried the Dreamer and just like that style, the toe box fit snug across the top. Cute as all get out though! Had to return. First time trying Taos brand. Guess it's not for my feet.
