They keep my feet warm and dry. I've been walking through snow mostly. They do run small, so it took a couple of tries to get the correct size (I wear 9 or 9.5 normally & a 10 in these)

Love the boot this autumn, though yet to test in truly wintry and wet conditions. It is well-padded inside in addition to being sized a bit small, so you're going to have to size up quite a bit, at least 1.5 from walking shoes and 2 sizes from running shoes I would say, though be prepared to return and re-purchase for the right fit, since The North Face does not permit exchanges.

If you're need is to do delicate footwork in steep or awkward terrain these are not the boots for you. But, if you're spending a lot of time working outside in Wyoming in winter in snow, on ice, and in the very special kind of mud we have up here, they are stellar. I had a little break in period to soften up the ankles a little. They are warm, without heavy socks, even in sub-zero F temps, comfy, 100% waterproof, and easy to clean. These are seriously burly well made boots.

These are perfect for Colorado winters. Light enough and warm enough for a short winter hike and dog walks around the neighborhood after a snowstorm when I need more than a hiking boots

These were a birthday present to my grandfather. He is obsessed with them and says they are the only boots that keep his toes warm on cold winter days at the dog park.

Great for walking dogs through snow in mountain areas. Feet have been kept dry and warm. Lacing system makes it difficult to remove boots, but I might be able to resolve this with a different stringing pattern. The top of the tongue doesn't lay flat, but this is a minor issue. Perhaps they'll fix this in a future revision. Fits a little tigher than expected around the base of the foot when wearing medium weight ski socks.

Solid boots that fit well. Believe they will hold up and look forward to using them in the snow.

I got these for my boyfriend because he desperately needed snow boots. I knew I wanted him to feel comfortable but safe while walking on icy sidewalks and deep snow, and these boots did not disappoint! They are incredibly warm, well-insulated, and provide excellent traction, which gives him confidence even on the slipperiest surfaces. Plus, he says they're super comfortable, with great support for all-day wear. The quality is impressive, and they've held up well through heavy snow and freezing temperatures. Overall, these were a fantastic purchase, and he loves them! Highly recommend!

When I first opened the box I was worried I'd be walking around like a robot. To my surprise they are incredibly comfortable. Of course they kept my feet warm and dry during our last snow, but that was expected! So far they've stood up to ~6 inches of snow with 20-30F temperatures.

Very comfy and durable. We haven't had a ton of snow in the Tahoe area yet this winter, but they will get a ton of use for ski trips and cold /wet days around the house

I use this for winter hiking in the White Mountains of NH. The temps are sometimes subzero near the summit, and my feet are always warm and dry. They are comfortable to have on for several hours and fairly easy to break in (only a couple hikes and they are good for long hour use). My spikes are easy to get on them.

These boots are comfortable and warm. Taking them on my trip to Austria. I'd recommend a half size up from your normal size.

It's awesome! I buy it for my dad and husband and we went to Rocky Mountain during winter. It was snowing and the trails are slippery, but it keeps you warm and it can handle slope equal or less than 45 degree very well. However, it you going to a slope more than 50 degree, and full of ice, the shoes are still good, but since too slippery, you need to have some more equipment like snow spikes for your safety. But my husband still climb to 9900 ft Dream Lake.
