Personally I had to go a size up, when I received my first pair they were too small. I called Zappos and they immediately sent a new package before the end of the day. I returned my original order and in 3 days I got my new boots! Zappos is amazing and so fast and feee shipping! I highly recommend buying from here

Better than I expected! Really happy with this purchase and im glad i saved money here instead of buying from the actual site. Im a size 9 1/2 in womens US so i tried on a 9 at journeys but my toes hit the front while i walked and it was so uncomfortable. I ordered the size 10 here and it fit comfortably! no blisters at all, but I would still recommend fluffy socks.

Some reviews online said to size down but I have slightly wider feet in the toe box area and I’ve found that sizing down for boots with other brands leave my toes squished. I’m a typical size 6.5W and ordered a 7W. They fit big which is fine but I added an extra insole for comfort. It fits way better with added insole and thick socks. They give me an extra few inches of height which is cool. They are a bit on the heavier side though and I can see how people with larger feet might look like they’re wearing clown shoes with these.

This is my 6th or 7th pair of DMs. I ordered my usual size 7 (uk 5) and they fit perfectly like my others. The leather on these is really soft and MUCH easier to wear straight out of the box than my other Jadons. Very comfy and bouncy as you walk. They are kind of heavy, but not more so than other Jadons or any other real leather/quality boot. The zip up on the insides is really nice and smooth to use. The color (lilac) is exactly as it shows on the pictures! And AS ALWAYS these will forever be in style just like any DM shoe. Because of the awesome quality these will last forever too, so that’s nice! These would look great with black laces too! The only thing I don’t like is the length of the laces. I feel like they need to be a few inches longer so you can lace them up totally AND tie them. This is true with just about all of my lace up DMs even though I don’t have particularly wide feet, ankles, or calves.

Lilac is STUNNING but...these felt big to me (and that's coming from a women's size 12 with long feet). Also the sole is sooo heavy and clunky. I'm not one to shy away from platforms but I wish these were on the traditional Dr. Martens sole; the whole extra layer on these makes them cumbersome. Finally, the sheen on and size of the sole overwhelms the impact of the statement color...like each is vying for attention but neither ever wins. Sadly returning.

Totally fun boot with a nice platform height. It takes a bit to put in and take off but so worth it.

Leaving a review to help out others who are confused about the sizing. Please get these in the closest full size up if you are a true half size. I am a true 8.5 measured with and without a sock..and the 8s in the Jadon smooth and Pisa leather are way too small lengthwise. The toe box will not stretch. My toe hits the front in the 8s and is perfectly comfortable in the 9s. With thick socks, the 9s are comfortable immediately. I will probably need an insole once the leather relaxes but the insole of the Jadon isn't substantial anyway, so they will just be more comfortable. The length isn't the issue in the 9s, it is the volume and width of the shoe that is slightly too big but, again, the 8s are way too short. I think Dr. Martens are TTS it's just that the unisex models allow for more space in the shoe for men's feet. Again, if you are a half size and care about the health of your feet, size up and if you need to put an insole in. By the way, the 8s gave me horrible bloody heel blisters after wearing them for about fifteen minutes. I wore the 9s out of the box for an hour long walk and only have a slight bit of ankle rubbing, as to be expected though with a new boot. The 8s feel stiff as a board underfoot and the 9s have the bouncy soles feeling. So, I think if the shoe is killing your foot and doesn't have the bouncing sole feeling that they are probably too small for your foot. Dr. Martens are meant to look/be roomy!

Favored this leather over the shiny patented leather due to break in period. Don’t get me wrong these definitely require a good amount of break in but it seems the leather is softer and more pliable, so I’m assuming break in is easier compared to the other leathers this comes in. Normally wear 10.5 men’s, ordered a 10. I’m happy with the sizing, after some wear I can comfortably use wool socks without wishing I had gone with a larger size. Side zippers are great for easy on and off. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. The look is classic.

The shoe is very soft and it has cushion and really roomy! I bought them in size 11 women’s and they fit perfect that’s my regular size in shoes.

I am a women's 8.5 and with Docs have had mixed experiences sizing up vs sizing down. I decided to size up to a 9 this time and it was the right call. These are really comfortable. They are platform so obviously they are going to be a bit heavier but I don't think it's extreme. I did get the WarmWair fuzzy insoles from Dr. Martens for mine and it makes them nice and cozy. One thing about them is they do kinda squeak a little bit just because of the leather and the thick sole at first. Mine have gotten better the more that I wear them but at first you could definitely hear me coming. I love the fit and the look of them and I especially love the zipper. Love love!

A heavy duty boot that looks good, feels good & makes you 1 inch taller.

Love them!!! I did size down I am a women’s 11.5 and I got an 11. They are so cute and stylish! This is my second pair (different style) in less than 3 months!

Love love the boot, beautiful. 1/2 sized feet should size up. Had to purchase two to figure that out. 39 EU is better for a size 71/2- 8 foot.

I absolutely LOVE these! yes they took a little bit of breaking in to - but now - so comfy - and not as heavy as they look if that makes sense..

I have to put my own insoles in here. I do not like the insoles these come with. These are expensive for what they are in my opinion. They come with hard as a rock insoles and are half insoles. I used my power step insoles. They run true to size. The soles are durable and will probably last a long time. I like the nubuck. They’re probably waterproof shoes.

Runs big but with an insert fits well

I like the look of these boots and especially like the side zipper. However, they were larger and wider than I expected, and very stiff. I'll order a size down, and see if that helps, but I'm not confident, as this was originally designed for the male foot, and having the correct size will not make them more flexible. Sadly, these will not work for me.
