I really liked the style of these shoes. The problem I had was they insert a really squishy insert, which you would think would be nice. The problem I ran into was the insert was so squishy that I found my heel would rub against the back of the shoe. I tried using heel inserts to see if that would help, but it was still uncomfortable. Given what I paid for them, I would expect this not to be an issue out of the box. I decided to return these for that reason. Otherwise, the style is really cute.

I love these shoes, however, they do run a little large so had to return them. I ordered a half size smaller. They are really attractive and the leather is soft leather. They will go with anything. Dress them up or down.

This is a buttery soft shoe, cute, color is as depicted. Yet, it was sloppy on my foot, maybe order a half size down would help it. It has no arch support and thus will sadly go back.

These felt like putting on cozy slippers. The weaving is of brown smooth leather and a metallic bronze, which I did not pick up on. They felt like they might stretch a bit more, which would make them too big for me. The toe vamp did NOT cut across the instep, which is usually an issue for me, so Yay for that. There was plenty of space in the toe box too--again, they were soft and felt like broken in slippers.

I love the shoes. Too wide in N and toe box missed top of my foot 1/4". Might hve gotten by with inserts but more expense.

the fit was good but not perfect. I have very narrow feet. I do love Zappos and will shop here again.

So disappointed as this shoe is very comfortable but too wide in the toe bed. Trotter seems to have widened the toe bed because all my other Trotter shoes that I have a the correct narrow size.

Length was good - slightly short. One half size up would have made them too big. Width is not as narrow as should be. They are snug where the lowest side of the foot meets the sole at the side wall which allows me to wear them. I am keeping the shoes. They are soft leather and will eventually stretch. After a few wearing's I will add heel inserts. The fit is similar to a moccasin. I'll probably wear sock-liners which will help. Seem nicely cushioned with an arch support cushion. Will wear when there isn't a lot of walking going on. I wear an 8 or 8.5 N in shoes and sandals and a 9 or 9.5 N in running shoes. I have a very narrow heel which most shoe manufacturers no longer make.

Very very disappointed in this pair. I ordered 8-1/2 W. I recd 1 W & 1 med??? Also your new “ easy return” system is annoying…easy printing my own labels much easier????

Finally. A summer shoe that fits. I am glad I read the reviews re sizing. I normally wear a size 11 by today's standards, and my foot is narrow to medium (left foot a little wider due to a slight bunion) with a high instep. I ordered both size 10 1/2 N and 11N, and the 10 1/2 were just right. The width was good as well; did not pinch or squeeze anywhere. The size 11 I would have walked out of; they were slipping on my heel. The heel on the 10 1/2 does not slip, nor does it come up too high on my heel. I also use 3/4 length orthotic inserts. The shoe was a bit challenging to get into the very first time due to the cushy insoles (maybe due to my orthotics), but after that, they were good. Also, the shoe does not squeak with my orthotics in-- some shoes can do that. The shoe is very soft as well. I don't think they will need any break-in time. Happy with this purchase and again, glad I ordered a half size down (especially since only one pair was left in both sizes).

I love these shoes. They are very soft leather. If you have lots of bunions/arthritis, they mold themselves around your problem areas.

The fit was excellent for a wide width shop. The leather insole was particularly nice.

The shoes fit great, even on the first day. I plan to order another pair of Trotters' shoes.

I bought this as my "indoor" look-good shoes! And they are! Highly recommend.

This is such a beautiful shoe..... Unfortunately it just isn't narrow enough, even with inserts.

Cute shoe, but they don't work for my feet. I wear a 9 D and that's what I bought. The length is fine, the width is fine across the wide part of my foot, but the toe box is too tight. If your middle toes are longer than your big toe, they'll probably be fine for you. My big toe was squished and miserable so they're going back..

I liked the style as far as looks go. The comfort was fine overall with the exception of the straps which irritated a bit.
