The shoe fit fine around the front of my foot, but the heel of the shoe was much too wide, and my heel slipped out each time I tried to take a step. If you have a wide heel, this is the shoe for you, as the lug sole is perfect and the shoe appears to be well made.

Love the look of so many FP shoes, but the fit is always off for me: much too long, much too narrow, no arch support. But these are gorgeous; got the green, and the color/workmanship don't disappoint. Sadly returned.

It’s a cute shoe and seems like it would be comfortable, however it is way too big. I’m in between a 7.5 and 8. First I ordered the 8 and it was clown shoe large. The 7.5 is almost ok on the right foot if I wear socks, but slips without. The left foot is for some reason much larger and slips even with socks. I’ll try a 7 if they come back in stock but mostly I’m just confused.

This shoe feels very good on and looks very modern and stylish in the mirror - looking down at my feet while wearing them, I do think they look a little bit funny - the outsized black rubber sole, is part of the design I could do without, but they do look pretty amazing in the mirror! Nice leather, very comfortable shoes.

I loved these shoes the minute I saw them and couldn't wait to try them on. When I did, the right shoe fit "okay", just a little big. But I liked them so much i was determined not to care.....until I tried the left shoe on. I was a full size too big and my heel flopped out of the shoe with every step. This has never happened to me.

The shoes are nice and comfortable. Unfortunately, I was sent the wrong color. It's just a pain in the butt. And, the is no option to indicate that the wrong item was shipped. Now I need to waste my time taking care of this.

These loafers are so cool. I love the color and the lug sole. Lots of compliments. Would order in multiple colors if possible. Great shoes. Gives casual outfits a bump in style.

These are absolutely gorgeous. Fit is perfect. But… they are heavy and I’m too old to clomp around. If I was younger, I wouldn’t feel it. I’m 50 and just starting to notice how I feel different physically. I think the weight of these will affect how I walk in them after the first hour or two. But gosh, they are so pretty… regrettably, they are going back. I gave them a four for comfort because they are comfortable, but the style just doesn’t work for me.

I would usually order a 9 1/2 in a shoe like this that I would wear a sock with but the 9 1/2 was way too big! So I ended up returning them and getting the nine and they fit perfect. My running shoes are size 10 and most of my winter boots are 9 1/2 I don’t know if these run a little bit big or true to size but I’m really happy with them.

The shoes are too big even though I ordered a half size down from what I usually wear. Quality and craftsmanship are good and the leather is soft and smooth.

Love love love these loafers. Recommend ordering 1/2 size down from your usual.

I love these shoes they’re really cute !…and I think they would be pretty comfortable. The back heel was way too big and I felt like if I went shorter it would be too short. I normally wear a 9 1/2 but I could put a finger in between the back of my heel, and the back of the shoe ! Way too much room, even with a thick sock! wanted to keep them so sad!

Definitely not a sizew 38.5 (as listed) or even 39, more like a 40. Lovely shoe otherwise. A bit heavy/clunky, but I normall like that. But in this case, way too long for my foot, and a bit boat-like.

These shoes are so cute! But too wide in the heels, my feel slipped right out of them. Definitely not a good shoe if you have narrow ankles. So sorry to have to send them back.

too big

I had to return these...got a half size down, and they fit perfectly. Also, these are definitely "saffron"...a kind of orange-ish color...not tan, like I thought they were going to be. Otherwise, it's a cute shoe!

These don't work for narrow feet. Sizing down helps, but then the shoes are too small lengthwise.

Tight in the arch if you have tall feet. I couldn’t figure out how not to make them look clowny, but if you’re really dialed in, fashionwise, you might not read Pennywise. Maybe.

I loved these shoes for the style but unfortunately the fit was too sloppy for me to feel comfortable or confident wearing them. I tried a half size smaller than I normally wear but still had to send them back.

Had the same experience as other reviews. Left shoe fits fine but the right shoe slips in the heel every time a take a step my heel pops out. Really weird as this seems to be a common issue and inconsistency with this shoe.

Love these adorable shoes, but too tight in front, too long in back.

They are too long and unwieldy. The size convention you use is very confusing. Does not correpond to a european (italian/spanish) 39, more like a 40. Reluctantly returning.

These would have been a five all around. Except for the fact that I wore them one day in a business setting (at a conference for 8 hours) and the toe looks like I have worn them for a year. Very disappointed.

I really wanted to love these funky loafers! I ordered the black FP loafers and thought initially they looked like clown shoes. The shoes also fit odd. It actually felt like one shoe was an entire size off. I ordered a 9 (I am a solid 9M). The right was quite snug and the left was loose. I even checked the sizes to make sure they were same sized. Unfortunately I will be returning these and considering the Madewell loafers.
