I love it! But Why are Mirabel's glasses not green. Its an important detail and an Easy one to get correct!

This model just doesn't live up to the movie, visually or creatively. Worst of all, the playability is pathetic, especially when compared to the imagination that went into the original. If this couldn't be done better, it shouldn't have been done at all. If any model looks like a cash-in, this is one.

Really disappointed with this LEGO offering. Toy companies are given information from the film maker so merch is ready for the film release but sometimes the film changes a bit which may explain the heavy emphasis on the capybara! But unless there are more sets to be released, the absence of Bruno, Luisa and Isabela (Story books don't count) is very disappointing. If you watch the film, the possibilities of a ``living Casita for LEGO build are so exciting but then we get this! Some of the friends sets and other Disney builds like Rapunzel and Cassandras' caravan - even Sleeping Beauty's' cottage - had more excitement and ingenuity than this. Maybe LEGO had little faith in this fabulous film but this set is such a lazy and disinterested design. I would happily pay more for a bigger and more reverential set. How about moving staircases? Hidden rooms and passages? Sliding portraits? And more than a peephole in a nook with a miniature candle! And decent hair that doesn't fall off! I could rant on LEGO is a respected toy maker, they haven't earned it with this set.

I wanted to love this set, as I love both Disney and Lego, plus I'm excited that my daughter is finally getting into Lego too. She built this set in two evenings, which at 6 years old is fairly swift (indicating that it's not a complex buid), but the Raya set had taken her over a week. I wanted to see this set with the complexity of the Raya house, which is visually stunning, and therefore increasing the build time. At a young age, the joy is in the building rather than the playing, so I'm actually gutted with this set.

In the words of my 6 year old granddaughter , why did it not come with the rest of the family?
The house is only part of the story. For imaginative play the figures of the family would have been essential . There is no complete set in any Lego toys. Why not ?

The Madrigal house is absolutely beautiful with bright vibrant colors but the actual pieces are very low quality and constantly fall apart with the slightest touch. We had to rebuild bag 1 three times! No way my 6 year old could have built this independently.
Becoming a problem with Lego sets
