Felt a little small in the toes, may have stretched out to fit better but I found another brand that fit great out of the box, so returned these

These are my new office shoes and they’re great for that. Not too high as to be uncomfortable but not too low either. They weren’t as super comfortable at first wear as some of my other Dansko but they’re good enough. I’m usually a black shoe person because it’s easy to match to my wardrobe but this time I opted for the burgundy and glad I did. It’s a good and somewhat unexpected neutral to mix things up a bit.

When I put on these shoes I felt like dancing! They are cute and sooo comfy. Nice to find shoes in my size that don't either pinch my toes of fall off my heels.

Gapped in the heel, don’t like the metal on the strap it was uncomfortable. Leather was not that nice for the $

I am disappointed in the comfort of this style. I’ve worn Dansko shoes for work for many years but this style doesn’t feel at all “Dansko-ish”. I will try an orthotic insert but fear I may have wasted $145 on them

I only wear Danskos for work. This style just doesn’t work for me. They are cut too low and not comfortable for all day wear.

These are so cute! I didn’t even realize they are Velcro. Even in person it looks like a regular buckle shoe. Unfortunately, they were narrow and don’t any options for wide.

Fit was 1/2 size too large. I feel the Dansko Callista shoes are mediocre. They are blah/ so- so in style/appearance ,and , more importantly, they lack the comfort and support of other Dansko shoes I have worn for many years. I need a comfortable and supportive shoe. I am sending them back with the usual cooperation ,help , and easy return policies of the Zappos company. Thank you, Zappos.

Felt much narrower and shorter footbed than the many other Dansko styles I've tried in the same size. Leather upper looked cheap and flimsy.

Material stiff and felt too large all around

I was so optimistic about finding some passable looking dress shoes with the same Dansko arch support as my beloved Dansko clogs, but it is not the same! The Dansko clogs provide full arch support, including some built in metatarsal arch support. These shoes have a little arch support but it's in the wrong place for my foot at least - too far back toward the heel and no metatarsal support at all. What a shame! Dansko managed to make a platform sandal with the clog-style support, so why not other shoes? I'm returning them.

I ordered my usual size and wear that size in other Dansko styles. But these were too short and had to go back.

It pains me to write this review, but I love the Dansko brand so much and I feel it merits some honest feedback. I’m having a difficult time understanding how this style was so appealing before I had the misfortune of experiencing it on my own feet. They have: 1) an extremely narrow toe box; 2) straps that weren’t long enough to fully cross over the top of my feet (fwiw, I have muscular, veiny feet, not meaty ones); and 3) a profile generally reminiscent of QE II pumps, which is not the look I was aiming for. Sorry, Dansko—this one is a big fail.

Velcro strap does not stay attached. Each step the strap comes undone. Sadly, I will be returning them. Otherwise, the fit was great and they are comfortable. I do not usually have a problem with Dansko, they fit me very well!!
