These are super cute and I really wanted them to work, but they were too narrow in the toes for me. The Barbara works perfectly for me, but I was wanting something a little more fashionable with a slightly higher neck. The toe box was also too low and not cushioned enough for my feet, with heel slightly higher than my comfort. I have a bunion and plantar fasciitis so I need the strong arch support, wide toe box, and slight heel (but not too much) of the typical clog. These were just different enough that I know they would have caused pain had I worn them. Otherwise they were true to fit and would probably be comfortable for an average foot. If your feet aren't as finicky as mine, you'll probably love them.

Beautiful boot but my problem is that it's too snug. i really need wide width but wasn't available.

This pair of boots is extremely comfortable! I bought these in a 39. I usually wear an 8 but wanted plenty of room for an orthodic insert and heavier socks. They fit great. I got the brown and it is a darker brown. Will look great with jeans and skirts.

I don’t know if it was the higher heel lift but my toes were squished when I walked in the shoe. Otherwise they were comfortable and very nice looking. I just think I would regret keeping since my toes were already cramped and I think it would only get worse after wearing all day when your feet typically swell

The boot itself was nice looking. Unfortunately, it's too narrow in the toe area and I know I wouldn't be wearing these after one time.

Both heals blew out after about a month. Since the shoes were worn - could not get a refund.

I was able to wear these immediately out of the box. So comfortable. I wear an 8 normally, 38 in Dansko sandals but I went with a 39 with these so I could wear thicker socks if I wanted. I like everything about them.

They look too western in person. Toe box much more narrow than anticipated. The leather itself looked pockmarked as well. Returned.

The fit and is fantastic! I had foot surgery last December and needed some comfortable boots to wear. I’ve been wearing dansko’s for many years and decided they would be the best choice. The leather is soft and the boots are well made. Looking forward to putting some mileage on these!

I have only tried them on so far, but they are a little tight in the width. I also have the same shoe in black and love it. I think the brown ones will stretch with wearing.

I have a fairly narrow foot, high arch and mild arthritis in top of feet. These boots are amazing. Total support. I am mid 70’s, and own the black & brown Cagney. Because it’s Dansko it allows me to have a real heel so very cool. My daughter in early 40’s is buying the black after seeing mine. Highly recommend if you have a more narrow foot.

I ordered these in a 38 rather than the 37 I normally wear in order to wear heavy socks for winter. They are great fitting and the heel is a comfortable height. One of my new favorites! (And I have many pairs of boots since I am a shoe freak!) I love Dansko because I have skeletal issues and need the support of good shoes. I can take Dansko shoes out of the box and wear them all day the first day--even shopping and walking!

These were too tight in the toes.

I struggle to find shoes and boots that will accommodate my custom orthotics (both feet) and a bunion on my left foot. This boot is wonderful......very soft material, and the width was wide enough that I was able to wear them out of the box without any stretching to fit the bunion. Thanks, Zappos!

These are very comfortable and the style was what I wanted. They have a light distressed finish that I like. For me there's no arch support, but I have super high arches so it would better to see what others say.

This Dansko Cagney boot fit perfectly! However, I was choosing between a number of bootie brands and styles. This one was not the winner. If I had wanted a classy and more elegant looking bootie, this would have been the winner. I chose something more rustic looking. FYI- I have a high arch and Euro sizing fits me the best.

Fabulous booties! LOVED them. Comfortable from the box, perfect heel height, great arch support, and typical Dansko quality. Unfortunately, they went back due to a sizing issue. Unlike most reviewers here, I find that the boot runs almost a full size too large. I always wear a 38 in Dansko (I have many styles and have worn this brand for years - all 38) and these felt more like a 39. My foot and heel were slipping a lot. Even with socks they felt too big, and that's a sure recipe for blisters. I tried on the 37 at a local store, and while it fit, I felt my toes were a little too close to the end. I'm so disappointed that this boot doesn't run true to typical Dansko sizing. For reference, I have a low volume foot and wear a 7.5 Medium width in US sizing. Don't let my review discourage you. These. Boots. Are. GREAT!!! The sizing will be perfect for some, so do yourself a favor and try them!

I love this bootie but need it in a larger size. I should have read the reviews which said to go up a size.

Only disappointment, the boot wasn’t fully lined with leather. Had synthetic fabric for part of lining , which makes yr feet sweat :(

Zero cushion in the midsole - it's hard as a rock - the standard Dansko insole won't be enough to stand or walk for long. The top of the boot hits sharply at the lower leg though it might soften. Otherwise fits perfectly and it's attractive, comfortable toe, perfect heel height. I can't use it without more cushioning, sadly.

My foot is wide and I've struggled to find shoes that are comfortable in the toe box. I was optimistic about these since Dansko is the same company that makes dance shoes, so I hoped they knew what they were doing. The 7.5 is wide enough without my foot slipping out but they won't fit if I wear thin socks so knee highs it is. The other thing -- and you may not be bothered by it like I am - but the heels don't sound like heels when I'm walking. It's more muffled than click, click, click. I did receive many compliments on them and they are very close to what I'd hoped to find while i was shopping for a black bootie.
