They are not as comfortable as the Gel Kayano 27''s that I originally started wearing. My podiatrist recommended ASICS and my first pair was extremely comfortable. The ball of my foot needs the added cushioning support. I have Kayano 28's that are not as comfortable and my Kayano 29's are better just not as comfortable as the 27's. What changed? I alsO have orthodoxies that I have to insert. I wear a 8 1/2 but have to order a 9 1/2 so that they fit.

Not sure how this style of the same shoe could be so different in fit and feel but it was. Too wide for even my wide foot. The black style works perfectly and I wanted to get another pair of the same shoe. But won't be this one.

I actually enjoyv the Kayano 28 better. The 29 seems to rub the toe box a little more which tends to irritate my big toe.

I have always worn a size 7. I ordered these in a 7 and my big toe touched the end of the shoe. They were comfortable and felt good width wise but I didn't want to have my toes get sore from walking so I am returning.

I wear a Ladies 12. I don't have a wide foot, it is long. These feel wider in the toe area, and it makes me have to tie them tighter (which makes the laces really long). I really loved the 28's and 27's. They are a WONDERFUL color. I love that! These replace my gym only shoes that I wear when I work out. (I got the Green ones)

I'd like a little more cushioning and more durable soles.They wear out much faster than other brands. I haven't made up my mind about the roomier toe box. I think it's an improvement.

I love these shoes!! I have arthritis in both knees and these help with balance. I've tried a number of other brands and this is my favorite. My originals needed an update sooooo I went for what I know.

Love this shoe. The style and color make it very versatile, and they are sooooo comfy. I really like how it hugs the arch and ankle. I don't even need the laces, which is a good thing because they are so snug, I can't really tie them without cutting off circulation. No worries, I use them like a slip-on. The toe box is wider than other Kayano - so wide that I had to downsize from 8 to 7.5. This is now my go to for everything except running, which is why it has 4 stars rather than 5...I can't use them for running because of the inconsistency between the fit of the toe box and rest of shoe. I don't recommend the MK for running but definitely recommend if you walk and/or stand long hours.

The first pair I ordered were too small even though I used the sizing utility. The second pair was a better fit but still snug. I think it would be great shoe if I could get the correct size!

I’m still a bit on the fence with these. The cushioning is GREAT but there are very weird pockets that really hurt my feet. I went back to back with another running shoe and the comfort of these was superb but the weird pockets are really uncomfortable. Maybe just my feet? But I’ll stick with them, I’d rather deal with some blisters than joint pain.

I wear size 9 in most shoes - 8.5 in sandals and heels. However, in these Asics sneakers, the 9.5 was a teeny bit snug - but I will keep them and hope that hey will stretch out a bit cuz the shoe material is a very thin stretchy cloth.

I own many pair of Kayano 27 in a 6. Ordered the 29 in both the 6 and 6.5. I'm a 36 euro... so small feet leaning toward a 5.5. The 6 had my toe all the way to the end of the shoe and was not comfortable for a day on my feet.The 6.5 felt like it's size...way too long for me and much too wide. The foot bed was great and I wish I could have gotten the right fit. I know i would have loved one too.

I am a 8 wide and it felt a bit snug for me. I did like the grip but my toe as hitting the top portion of the shoe already and this was during try on. I may try to get a half a size up to see if it's better, but other than that I liked the overall feel of the shoe when working out.

I have had Kayano 26, 27, 28, 29. They offer good support but ... I find their comfort drops after 100 miles of running. While the sole may last 300-400 miles I am not happy that these shoes lose their cushy feeling too quickly and if Asics offers a new insole option I can't find it. That said, I will buy a third pair of 29's soon and look forward to Kayano 30

I had to return these shoes. This shoe would be perfect if the shoe drop was a 5 or less. They make these shoes with 8, 10, or 12 mm foot drop, and that kills my ankles, hip, and back. Please make this show with a much less foot drop, it would have been perfect but for that high heel and foot drop.
