Its amazingly smooth to walk and beautifull as well. Its hurting my feet when I run though. But I am pretty confident that its just a matter of the transition from brooks to Asics. I will give this beauty a chance..

Great shoe I run in the Caribbean and it had a few hot spots that I didn't notice on 28's

If you are a forefoot striker, it is a good shoe. I am using this as a walking shoe/ duty shoe. Soft on the fore foot but a bit hard on the heel part area especially when you are standing for minutes, you will feel some pressure on the heel part.

Some heel discomfort as I break the shoes but otherwise I like the shoe

I ordered a half size larger shoe to allow for foot swelling during exercise, walking, etc... I have found my toes feel very tight at the shoes toe area. Is it the toe angle that is not sized correctly for my foot specs? I have used Asics for 30 plus years and the last 2 pair I have owned have both given me this toe discomfort. Please reply... thank you

I've never purchased or worn Asics before. I used the tool to help determine shoe size and it initially said I should order an 11.5. Then just before making my purchase, for good measure, I used the same tool, and it suggested I get a size 12. I thought it was odd since I used the same criteria. I like the cusion of the two pairs of Kayano 29 I bought, but I will say they are loose and I wish I got them in 11.5 instead.

These are a bit tight and the no tongue thing is not for me. Between the fit and how difficult they are to get on, they are not for me. I wish I had not worn them outside the first time I had worn them; I would return them if I could.

Very comfortable shoe. And they last a long time.

Decent for the on sale price, they squeak when I walk, loud enough for others to hear! Got them 50% off or I would send Them back, definitely not worth full price

love this shoe. I have been wearing gel kayano for years. The 29 is tighter across the widest part of my foot. You can see a slight difference in the shape of the bottom of the lace area. Not sure if that is it. But def a bit too snug. I will try to wear it till it stretches.

Have had more than 5 pairs of Gel-Kayno before, but this pair is a true disappointment. The integration of the tongue with collar making it weird looking, less breathable, and hard to remove or put in.

Generally comfortable, but the ball of my foot tends to fall asleep/get pinched after about three miles

Very pretty but I squeezed the elastic of my ankle a lot.

They feel good on runs except for an occasional clicking under the left foot. It feels and sounds like the tread is coming loose but inspecting the shoe, nothing is wrong.

I think it's a very comfortable shoe, but just ran a little small

Dont feel Asics are as comfortable as they used to be

Here are the cons I found with this shoe with only 10K - Plenty of room in the toe box, yet my toes rub on the outside where the plastic material is placed - hot spot - there is a hot spot on the big toe and midsection (ball of the foot). On the 10k, I got prominent blisters ( I hope blisters go away when the shoe breaks) - Heels not much cousin but it is expected as this shoe provides more stability, yet I got a blister at the bottom of my heal. - pretty tight on the arch on top of my foot. Since this is knit all around, you must play around with the shoe laces to find the right comfort, if any. Other than these issues I experienced at first impression, try the Novablast before you pull the trigger. I have never experienced blisters with other shoes when trying to break them.

I have always wanted to wear ASICS shoes , but they're just too narrow for me. I returned the shoes and had no hassle with the return.

Looks good, fit right, and great support but parts of the sole started to peel off within just a few days of wearing (in dry conditions), mostly around the house. It's disappointing and I'd be very upset if I had paid regular, not clearance, price.

I used for a while and my foot was hurting me from the down, i dont know if shoes ground not compatible with my foot. I gave to my freind and he is very happy with it

Even though, it was rated maximum cushion, however, it's not as cushioned as I would have liked like the Nimbus!

I wear a size 13 and these did not fit. Tried out the Kayano 30's and they fit great. But unfortunately for the 29's they do not come in a 13.5.

The shoes are rubbing the top of my foot by the toes.

I was disappointed after receiving my shoes. I ordered the exact same size and model number I already have and the shoes I received are not the same. They are tighter in the toe area and don't have the same markings.
