I am flat-footed and over-pronate severely. I loved the GEL-Kayano 27s. They were the best stability shoe I've ever had, and I've tried them all. In the GEL-Kayano 29s my feet feel like they're rolling off the shoe with every step. Already returned the 29s and I'm going back to the New Balance 860s. I don't understand why Asics would make their best stability shoe less stable. Still a quality shoe and I can tell they are more cushioned and responsive than the 27s, just clearly not for me.

Im a die hard Asics Kayano fan because I have over pronation and Im obese. I dont think theres another shoe on the market today that rivals these new Kayano 29's for cushioning and support!

I work 12 hour shifts standing up so a comfortable shoe is is a must. On top of that, I'm up around 400lbs and have wide feet so I have a hard time finding footwear. I tried these and a pair of Brooks Ghost 15 in a 15 4E (extra wide). While the Brooks were comfortable, I'm heavy enough that I started to sink down in the heels just standing still so I'm returning those. These ASICS are a god send though. I would definitely recommend these to anyone on the bigger side.

As always, this pair of shoes outdoes the rest! It's light, flexible, and tight construction. It has enough cushion and is pleasant to wear on my hour long walks with the dogs on pavement and dirt ditches here in NM. I have a right big toe that made a hole in all four pair of Hoka One One's shoes. In contrast, I have had no problem with that issue with the Gel-Kayano 29 Wide. Getting a half size bigger and wide has really helped with this shoe. I would recommend this shoe to everyone! It fits perfectly. The width is just right. It's extremely comfortable. This shoe, like all of Asics shoes is of perfect quality. I'm a 52 year old male who lives and breathes in New Mexico. I'm a walker every day of the week walking my two dogs.

I wear a lot of Nike shoes, I have definitely find the world best kept secrets in tennis shoes, the shoe was designed to grab your feet and shape it while the gel gives you the comfort of walking on thin air. This shoe removes all the pressure on your knees because the gel absorb everything. You guys did a great job, there's no comparison.

Great support, great cushion. These are easily the most comfortable support shoes I've ever worn. I'm a Kayano fan for life now!

I recently ran my second marathon ever using these shoes. Ever since about a year and a half ago, I have been using ASICS religiously. For me the Kayano series are the best running shoes out there. Prior to becoming a regular runner, my normal shoe size was 10 or 10.5. For ASICS running shoes, I have upgraded to 11.5. Perhaps my feet swell up when I run a lot, and also I think it's good to have some extra space for the toes. For the foreseeable future, I will be using ASICS Kayano shoes for running, as they seem to be the most comfortable shoes I have found, and are also very reasonably priced.

This is my 1st pair of Kayanos but I have purchased at least 5 or 6 pairs of Nimbus shoes. The Kayanos fit great and give me the support I need.

Kayano 29 is my third pair of Kayano and I must say that the shoe just gets better and better with every upgrade. This new upgrade keeps the heel drop and is lighter than it's predecessor. My standard shoe for longer road running. Every runner should have a pair of Kayano among his/hers running shoes.

I've been a runner since 1985. And have worn ASICS off and on over the decades. These are for me, out of all the brands that I've trained in, the best so far!

gave me awful ankle tendonitis for the first month or so. distance/frequency of running had not changed, and I did not have this issue with my previous pair of asics.

I have run in Kayano shoes for more than 25 years and have consistently found them to be durable, comfortable, and reliable. I have occasionally tried other running shoes, including other ASICS models and other brands but nothing compares with Kayano. I appreciate the cushioning and stability, and at this point in my running life I will not even consider another running shoe.

Great Kayano fit and support. I've been using various versions of Kayano for many years, and they are my preferred running shoe, especially as I get older and prioritize injury prevention. The no-tongue sock liner is a superior design in my opinion, and I'm glad Asics has that option on their Kayanos. I hope they will keep that for future generations of this shoe.

This shoes are great. Terrific blend of cushion and good arch support. The toe box is very generous, unlike the new Kayano 30 which has a very small toe box. I hope Asics gets back to the 29 and 28 styles for the 31 Kayano.

This design is a great shoe for my elderly feet. It provides stability and much comfort when wearing for exercise and walking in general. They were recommended to me several years ago by Fleet Feet in Menlo Park, CA and have served well since then.

I am a new runner with flat feet and this was a great purchase! I could really feel the cushion with each step that my old shoes didn't support. I didn't expect such a difference in running experience but as I train for a half-marathon, it helped me do several 4 mi runs in a single week rather and shorten my recovery times.
