I work in a factory 10 hour days standing up /running around. I needed a new pair of shoes so went to a foot doctor that sells running shoes. I had Hoka Bondi reserved and also asked to look at Brooks. When I told him I needed a shoe that i could wear for long areas, he also pulled these out for me to try. And let me tell you. SO MUCH MORE COMFTERABLE than Hokas. Blew my mind, why do so many people recommend those? He said the wide toe area will help distribute my weight and that no shoe will be perfect but these will PREVENT pain. One shift later, no back pain.

Lightweight with great support through the arch and heel. I've used them to help recover from plantar fasciitis that I've had for well over a year now. I got them specifically for the slight 5 mm rise in the heel, which seems to have helped along with the other support features. They're really comfortable shoes and are well made. I'll be getting a second pair once these wear out.

I use these for all around running and walking. Been search for years to find a shoe that doesn't crush my toes. Wide shoes don't work. It's the toes that matter

These are outstanding running shoes. I have a mild overpronation which these handle perfectly. Not to soft or firm. A big thanks to my local running store, Corey at Mountain Running Company for helping me find these! Love these shoes!!

I wish topo and other shoe makers would make shoes in 1/2 sizes for large feet. I measure out as a 13 on the Brannock device, but this shoe is a tad too short in size 13. Size 14, the next size up, is a much larger shoe and is too large. I know it's all about profit margin, but for anyone who wears a size 12 or larger usually always have misfit shoes due to the lack of 1/2 sizes. These are very good shoes, but getting the fit right for my 13.5 size foot is problematic. Sizing up to a 14 is a sloppy fit, bit the 13 is too short - see photo.

I normally wear very minimal shoes but needed something with a bit of stability and slight stack for rehab of a knee injury. Due to my mostly barefoot lifestyle I needed something wide and not too squishy - these fit what I need right now. Instantly comfortable out the box.

After a decade of hoping that "zero drop" would become zero flop, the heel stayed loose and the quality control even looser, so my tired 67yo feet went in search of new adornment, optimistic that someone could get this right... enter TOPO. I added a bit of drop, secured the heel, and voila! Foot and leg pain gone, knees and hips happy and the miles just float by... I truly believe it's a chance to rekindle my love affair with running. Sincerest gratitude to Tony and the innovators on team TOPO.

Boy am I glad I found these shoes - I now have 3 pair! I have been searching for shoes with a wide toe box - truly the Holy Grail. These Topos are SO COMFORTABLE with their wide toe box, and they are so lightweight! I use my own orthotics for extra support. I used to love Keens Elsa and was so sad that Keens no longer makes everyday shoes with this shape. By the way, I am a 65 year old woman. I recently asked Zappos customer service to recommend a leather shoe with this shape (regular width with this same wide toe box) that I struggle to find. Well, no wonder I struggle: even with Zappos' huge inventory, and my willingness to go with a men's or women's shoe, they came up with nothing! At that moment I ordered my third pair of these Topo Athletic Ultrafly 4s so that I will have one in reserve, because they are so uniquely comfortable for me. Thanks Topo - I will buy anything you make in this shape. :)

I ordered the Men's bc I was worried that the Women's might be too tight. These worked great. I had bunion surgery recently so the toebox is roomy enough for my still-swollen toes and upper foot but fits the rest of my foot well. And they are comfortable and cute (i have the dark blue).

I bought these for general all around wear. They are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever worn. They are very light, the fit is true, and they offer good general support.

The only shoe with some stability , The fit is great my latest pair the insole is shot after about 40 miles , not to mention the bottom cushion foam that is a little taller than the harder rubber bottom. The tops well outlast the tread. Went from 3 pairs of the 3 and my fourth pair of the 4. They just don't last and the comfort just isn't there anymore from my first pair of Ultrafly. I've got hiking lows Highs recovery slip ons and a pile of Ultrafly 3 and 4. Need to find some time a try on other brands again. The Ultrafly for me was a recovery shoe from a bad case of Plantar Fasciitis they were great , not sure what has happened but can't afford new shoes every 3 weeks. I do love my Mid top hiking shoes . #Sweepstakes.

First pair of Topos. Bought Ultrafly 4 about six months ago, 50/50 walking use inside and outside. Like the fit, support, and minimal forward pitch. Would recommend a couple durability improvements on next version: toe protection and better sole coverage. Not sure what cut the fabric on the right toe but I feel some protective edging would have minimized the damage. The sole at the front of the shoe is foam (no wear surface) and it is wearing fast for fairly light use.

Really like ths3s shoes. Fit and finish of them is great Like the toe box and less rise than other shoes. But Topo what are you doing?this is their only stability shoe and the forefoot of the sole is uncovered foam. Why? This area wears out much yicker than the shoe itself. If they continued the abrasion resistant tough part of the sole through the whole under side it'd be great. With the exposed foam...not worth it. I tried two pairs because I like the shoe and the minimal rise but won't buy another. I'm a 36 year old runner...I need some support. Have the ultraventures for hiking and trails. Great shoe but too stiff to wear on the road for me.

This is my second pair of Topos. I have the trail shoe also. The photos in the earlier comments are exactly what I sent to customer service and they said it was normal wear.

I do 2 miles of road running 4 days a week plus body movement weight training. I do a 4 mile hike with my wife on Saturday and Sunday. I have about 100 miles on these shoes. The fit and feel with a slight drop is great. I used to use the Altra torin and like these for just a slight drop. However the tongue has come detached. See picture. I prefer the top of the tongue to lay flat as it looks better with pants but I only use these as described.

I use them for walking only on side walks. Maybe 10 miles a week. All of the exposed foam on the bottom wears out. The rubber sole is fine but it is not enough. Where the ball of your foot hits its foam. Like it is planned to wear out. I have not even had these 4 months.

I have several pairs of the Ultrafly in several different colors. Sine I have been wearing these shoes I seldom wear anything else. I have been living in Europe since 2019 and every time I visit the USA I buy a pair or two of the Ultraflies. Keep up the good work. You have a customer for life

The most comfortable shoes ever. I have foot issues, and have had trouble finding shoes that are supportive and comfortable. I bought these before going to Italy. We walked 25,000 to 30,000 steps a day for 2 weeks and my feet felt great by the end of the trip. I highly recommend the Ultrafly 4.

Great shoes which seem very thoughtfully designed. The only issue I have is that the laces are very short and I can barely make a single knot without having to over-tighten the shoes.

Podiatrist recommended, and my calves are much less tired. Also benefits to low back. Unbelievably comfortable.
