I wanted something different for spring-summer and something functional. I like that this bag is either a shoulder bag, or pull the straps and then it is a backpack. The shell pattern is pretty, too.

Nice bag but a little to big for me

I particularly love the pattern on the inside material as I am not one to like anything with pink. I am trying to eliminate things I carry to keep the bag at a comfortable weight for my shoulder or back.

I like this convertible backpack but too big to use daily. I'll use for traveling or overnight ventures.

I love the color! Though I did worry about staining it everytime I set it down in a restaurant! The feel of the material is so smooth. Lots of room inside. I haven't tried it as a back pack yet, but I will! Overall I really love it!

This back pack/ purse should be very handy on my vacation. I look forward to using it on 2 trips.

I like the style and versatile straps but the material on the outside of the bag picks up lint and fabric from clothes/coats. I have to use a lint brush on my bag. I don't appreciate that.

I got this same bag in olive green. I carry a lot and this purse holds everything I need and has many pockets/areas for separation and organization. And it EASILY converts into a backpack for hands-free use. I now bought this black one as well. The one con is that the material attracts fuzz and lint so I have to lint roll it quite frequently. It is a pain but I love everything else about it. The olive one doesn't seem to attract as much lint?

Beautiful color, love the material, but it is bigger than I thought it would be.

It is a great bag to be able to switch back and forth between shoulder and backpack. However, a few zipper pockets on the sides would be helpful. See, there are 2 slip-in pockets in the front and that is great if you only use it as a shoulder bag. When you flip it around the stuff in the slip in pockets are easily accessible to steal from. So I was disappointed that I didn't notice that sooner. And these bags are not worth full price- only buy on major sale.

Love the design but the material is a magnet for pet hair and dust!

Good fabrication and well located pockets. Switching from shoulder bag to backpack is easy and clever. However, the bag is wide! The straps barely go on my shoulders ( I have to keep hiking them back up), and the bag does not lay flat across my back. It bunches and pouches out. Maybe if you carried a laptop in it, it would lie flat, but I don't. Or maybe you need wider shoulders?

I love how quickly the bag converts from shoulder strap to backpack, and while it's not quite cross body length, I can wear it that way, even over a winter coat. (I am 5'4", between xs and s in clothing). The bag is a good size. I was able to stuff a 16-oz water bottle, thick scarf, hat and gloves into it along with my wallet and other small items, and I could keep my phone handy and secure by putting in the outer zipper pocket. Lip balm, tissues and gum went in the outer pockets without zippers. I agree with other reviewers that the recycled cotton fabric is a lint magnet. If I'm wearing a light colored sweater, I need to carry a lint roller and use it often. I wish the bag came in a lint-free microfiber or black quilted fabric. One of my favorite bags of all time (from any brand) was the small VB black quilted backpack I bought over ten years ago, maybe even closer to twenty. I liked its streamlined style better than the current version. It's still usable, but I liked the idea of a convertible bag.

I like the size of the bag, it's roomy and the straps are more purse like than the backpacks which look school ba like. I did see the other reviews it warned that it was a lint magnet, I would agree. But I like the size I can over look that

Big enough to carry my tablet, small enough not be bulky, when myhands get full i pullthestraps and boom!, Its a back pack. The only reason it got 4 stars is because the dark blue cotton holds on to lint like a magnet and it doesn't come in a light neutral pattern I can use in the summer time.

It is bigger than I thought it was so I really haven't tried it out yet. I love the pattern though.

I do wish that the outside front slip pockets had zipper or magnetic snap closures. And I'd have liked the bag to be just a little wider across the bottom. I find it a bit thin. Also, it would be nice if this bag could convert to a crossbody, maybe with an additional removable strap. But I love an unconstructed hobo style like this and I am happy with the bag.

This bag is easily converted from a purse to a backpack and vice versa. I love that it has two external pockets that can easily hold a cell phone and a water bottle. The wine color is beautiful and wipes clean with a damp cloth. My only complaint is that the recycled cotton material is a dust and debris magnet.

I loved this bag, unfortunately returned as wearing it as backpack outside pockets need a magnet so things don't fall out.

So far I'm loving this bag. For a beach vacation it has been lovely to throw a bunch of stuff in and be able to wear it backpack style. Even took it kayaking!

Love this style quickly transforming to backpack

Love this bag. Love that it can be a purse or backpack. It is just the right size. My only issue is the fabric. It collects lint and if it rubs against something it leaves a mark that is hard to get out.

The bag is a good size. Not too big but enough pockets to hold everything. I like the straps because they are not bulky so I can use the bag as a regular shoulder bag. Looking forward to using this on trips.

I'm very happy with the color. Also pleased that it was created with recycled material. Like the ease with which it shifts from shoulder bag to backpack. I didn't pay enough attention to the dimensions of the bag so was surprised at the width of it. It is a little wider than I anticipated so not the everyday bag I thought it might be. Excited to take it on my next trip.
