The parka has a nice stretch to it and slimmer fit and it is comfortable, It is not warm enough for 35 degrees and lower weather unless you are wearing layers. Nice coat for chilly fall days and mild winters

The description states that this stretch down parka is slim-fitting so I ordered a Large. It was too big on me. (I am an athletic build, 5'10" and 145#). The parka would be great for everyday use, errands, dog-walking etc. It is well made. Because the jacket was too large on me, and because I already have an incredible 15 year old black Nuptse down jacket (considerably warmer than this Stretch Parka) I opted to return this parka.

Beautiful coat, very fitted. Ordered the blue. It's a matte fabric and seems durable. Just a little too fitted and not substantial enough for Minnesota winters. I ride the bus and it didn't feel like it would be warm enough.

Great jacket. The stretch let's it move and is so comfortable. Surprisingly warm despite how lightweight it is. But runs smallmust size up.

I'm not sure why manufacturers make women's jackets so narrow through the shoulders. I think this is why the ordinary but comfortable Patagonia Sweater has been so popular, It has boxy shoulders. In winter you are wearing layers, so narrow shoulders are just uncomfortable. I sized up in this coat to avoid it, but it did not help. The body was long and oversized, while the narrow shoulders squeezed. Nice color.

Very disappointed on north face quality!!!!! This jacket is not cheap but quality is very poor!!!!

I’m 5”7 180 pounds - a medium in Columbia, tried this coat in a medium it was way to tight. Ordered a large and it’s a tad big but comfy it definitely has stretch. It’s black but not the prettiest black. I got it on sale wouldn’t pay full price for it at all.

Some others have said this so I don't know why I was surprised. Pros: Cute, the color red is nice, it's lightweight, in general I loved the look Cons: Really not very warm, (like some mentioned) the "matte" texture stained easily, I have no reason to use the double zipper and and was frustrated that the very trim of the jacket has just enough trim that the second zipper catches it when unzipping. I returned it.

Why did you discontinue the 700 was soooo much better. I wear always a small had to go to a medium, no big deal. The lining is nowhere the same and no pockets inside. Maybe a little shorter too. Oh and I think $30 more!! And you can't talk to anyone at the store, no one answers the phone. Ever!!

2 stars due to fit. every jacket i own from north face is a large. this one was gigantic. so i ordered a medium and that was tiny. there was no size between medium and large to get the proper fit. otherwise i am sure it is a great jacket

Very thin for my liking

I checked the size chart before ordering. The parka was too small, had to return it sadly. It seemed like a nice coat.

Not made for women with big breasts. Very small cut in chest.

This runs really small in the chest. I sized up to accommodate and the rest of the jacket was way too big.

This a beautiful jacket but is not a winter jacket. It should be recommended for fall. Is also only water repellent and when it rains the water filters in and you get wet. I will put 5 starts if it was listed properly.

The parka looks great, however it didn't seem warm at all and runs small - I could barely fit a thin short sleeve t-shirt underneath. I have a North Face thermo-ball parka in the same size that has plenty of room for a sweater or sweatshirt underneath.

I wanted to like this Parka, but it felt a little cheap for a North Face product and for the price. Very basic. Certainly not warm enough for New England weather.

I was hoping this would work because I was looking for a more flattering fit in a warm jacket. I am 5'5'' and 130 lbs. and always fit in a medium, and sometimes a small. This jacket runs extremely small with the oddest proportions. It was very tight but the sleeves were long so a larger size wouldn't be an option.

I bought this coat to replace an 8-year-old North Face coat -the same coat. But, now the logo is screen printed on and looks cheap and like it will peel off quickly. This coat - the same size as my old coat - is TINY. The new super slim cut does not work if you are not skinny or if you have anything more than a small B-cup chest. I can't put my arms up. WHY did they ruin a good thing? Going back.

Not worth it!

Disappointed in this coat and quality. I have had it 3 weeks and the zipper is already broken and won't zip. It is a cheap, plastic zipper and can not be repaired. This coat is useless to me now as I can not return it (it has been worn), unless I want to have the zipper ripped out and replaced. Won't be buying coats/clothing from Zappos again.

It Looks cheap due to the iron on decal. Come on north face really you can do better. It does have good stretch though.
