Customer Reviews The North Face Alpine Polartec® 200 Full Zip Jacket

This a soft and beautiful jacket, however the fleece comes off in little balls and I can't figure out how to stop it. I've washed it inside out, zipped up , line dry and low dryer setting.

I purchased this jacket as a gift for my wife and she loves it at 4.5 stars. Last weekend, she wore it with black pants and there was visible white Polartec dust on them. This is where the jacket lost a star. She washed and tumble-dried the jacket prior to wearing it, but that did not help. Hope that subsequent washes will take care of it. It is important to note that the fabric is nice thick. I can see this jacket being work for many, many years to come.

It's really warm but it does shed a lot

the sweater shed too much lint, all my clothes were stained with lint, it looked terrible

This jacket is not only eco-friendly, but also very stylish, warm and comfortable. It is not too hot, but just right in regards to warmth. Love that the pockets have zippers and the length is perfect.

Love the color, love how it provides just enough warmth but cannot stand the amount of fuzz that transfers to everything including clothes. Even after several washes the fuzz just keeps on keeping on.

I love and own many TNF fleeces. I love the weight, style and softness of this fleece. I'm shocked at how much it sheds even after multiple washes. I've never experienced this with TNF quality or fabrics. I'm on the fence as to whether I will return it.

Thank you North Face for producing high quality products that deliver. I tried a few fleeces over the years that cost less, but they did not deliver the warmth I require for a mid layer in extreme conditions while snowmobiling. Also, other companies' products don't fit well - I actually ordered a large Women's Alpine Polartec 200 since the others all ran small. I ended up exchanging my Polartec 200 because North Face's sizing is true - the Medium fits great.

Beautiful color. True to size. I could have went down to a large. However I wanted it yo fit looser. It's warm. I will wear all spring. Bought it for a new work jacket. It's nicer than what I thought will wear it for fashion instead.
