Love these shorts. Purchased at the same time as the Summit Series Pacesetter Run Brief Shorts. A couple of differences: these have a liner as long as the short where the pacesetter are a brief. These have a phone pocket on the leg of the liner and a small key pocket in the liner as well. Pacesetter holds a phone on the small of your back. I prefer against the leg. The liner holds a phone tight enough to the leg that you eventually forget about it. I think I like the liner in these better than the pacesetter, but the pacesetter seems lighter and I can see myself reaching for those when the temps start to increase. Pacesetter also has a better spot to store gels/nutrition in a race/longer run.

Nice lightweight material, but had to return because it fit a bit too baggy/loose in the thighs & there were no front pockets.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Great running shorts. Zipper pocket could be a little bigger. The hidden leg pocket is a huge plus. The fabric and construction is excellent.

Love the fit and the inner layer. Perfect on longer runs. Only downside is the thin waist cord. Can be easily replaced by f.e. a larger shoe lace or similar.

Very comfortable for long runs. Inner layer keeps you dry and prevents chafing. True to size. 4 stars for the thin waist cord (that ripped after 10 runs - but its easy to replace with a larger shoe lace).

I had previously purchased a pair of Better Than Naked Long Haul Shorts in 2017. I liked them so much,
and thinking these to be the same, I ordered three pair, two blue and one black, to replace my gym attire. The quality of these new shorts is definitely cheaper. Additionally, the sizing is not consistent. The blue pair fit nicely, the black pair are definitely larger, and don't fit as well. There is nothing overtly wrong with them, the quality is just not quite there, and I don't look for them to last very long.

The Summit Navy/Summit Gold came with blue lining, the yellow lining pictured is lies, fairy tales, fallacies. It's honestly the only reason why I got it.
