Everything fits perfectly on these jeans _except_ for the waist, which is just slightly small and binding. I appreciate the actual full-size front pockets and the quality of the fabric and color. But the tight waist is almost a dealbreaker. I hope LL Bean will re-evaluate this so that my fragile ego won't be obliged to order one size bigger.

Too skinny, I thought they'd be more straight legged.

Returned. Didn't like the feel. Didn't fit right. Definitely not the LL Bean Jean I love.

I always fit into a size 10 jeans from LL Bean. These pants the fit is tighter around the waist and knees. Not the same fit as their previous pants, Bean Flex Straight leg Favorite fit. The quality is still there but just not the same cut.

Love the fit of these jeans, but they smell! I am in the process of trying to get the smell out--soaking in baking soda....

These are smaller than the True Shape jeans I have bought over the years. Also, I didn't like the light and dark alternating colors at the upper leg/hip in the front on the each side of the zipper that would normally get after wearing jeans for years. It looked too pronounced to me. But some might like it that way. They were good quality.

Beautiful denim but the waist is always too tight even sized up. purchased size 8 and 10 both fit but the waist. Moved the button over and they become the perfect jean.

I was looking forward to receiving these jeans but sadly they didn't fit the shape of my legs well. The weight of the fabric and length were perfect. Sadly they bagged in the thighs and in my opinion didn't look flattering so I returned them.

These jeans run small. I usually wear a 14 med tall in other brands. The 16 was too tight and the 18 was too big. However the quality is great I just have trouble with Bean sizing.

They are mid-weigh, pretty fexible, and the fit instantly made me look 20 years older. I am mid-life and not ready for my MIL to compliment my jeans. Order up a size for sure; waist fits small and waist-through-top of inseam (all 3 feet of it) is generous.

Great jeans with one exception. The rise is very high, goes above the waist.

Why is the size of the same style and fabric of these jeans so inconsistent? I have the exact same jeans that I've been wearing for a year, and why, when I order the exact same jeans, are they too small to even zip up?! Same. Size. I've. Been. Wearing. So incredibly frustrating. Now I have to decide if I'll try returning and reordering them. Every single pair of identically ordered jeans should NOT be so radically different. SMH.

Good fit, but disappointed in the wash styling. I didn't care for the simulated wear areas on thighs, seat and across the hips (whisker look).Fabric wear spot drying was not apparent in images. . I prefer a solid wash jean and to create my own wear spots. I returned them.

I don't like the pre-wash. I prefer the solid Jean blue.

llbean jeans are very good quality and so comfortable. The reason I gave them 3 stars instead of 5 is that I ordered twice because one size was tight but the next size up is a bit too large (I kept the larger size). The other problem is true with all brands of jeans... I need a 31" inseam, but they only come in 30" or 32".

I know that Ive put weight on. However even going up a size didn't seem to affect the tight waistband. These jeans used to be so very comfortable. Not now.

Just OK. I loved the last favorite fit jeans that LLB carried before these. Normally I wear a 6 but after reading the reviews I got an 8. They fit great through the waist and hips but are way more baggy and longer in the legs than the favorite fit jeans I have been getting up til now.

I bought another version of these pants a year or so ago. Same pants but the faided style. I loved them so much that I bought a second pair. The unfaded denim look. They are not made of the same type materal. To stretchy for me. They fit very tight. The first pair felt more like a pair of jeans with a bit of a stretch. Im sending the second pair back.

The jeans are very tight for the size. Would love to see more styles like the former 1912 boyfriend jeans of a few years ago

Based on other styles I have from LL Bean I feel these run small. The 10 fit, but they are very form fitting. I also feel like the bronze, or maybe they are copper colored, rivets are too bright and shiny. They really stand out too much. Definitely not my favorite, especially for the high price.

I have buying Bean jeans for 15 years. I have worn the same size and they fit perfectly. The last pair I bought the reviews said they ran small so I bought a size larger. I was glad I did because they ran small but fit fine. So I bought these jeans a size larger and they are about too small.

I like the fabric, length and stretch of these jeans. However, I was disappointed to find that the reviews saying the waist is too tight were correct. I am 5'10", 175lbs. I ordered a 14 and a 16. The 14 looked amazing on me; hugged my legs perfectly, I loved how they looked, but the waist dug in too much, so I tried the 16. The 16 was perfect in the waist, but the legs were now baggy, especially on the back of the thigh. They were comfortable, but looked too sloppy for my taste. If I could have put the 16 waist on the 14, they would have been a home run and my new favorite jeans. If you have thick thighs, these could be perfect for you.

These jeans are very comfortable and I like how high they come up on the waste. I just wish they did not stretch so much. After one wear they felt like they were sagging off me. I purchased the regular size 2 and they are very long. But in petite they did not come in a size 2.
