So I have bad feet and I needed some shoes that would last a couple games in a day.
Played 1 tournament in them, played5 games in 2 days, Very Comfortable, Good Traction!
Bought a half size larger cause my feet will swell standing on them..

Got the Endorphin Edge because I've been looking for a shoe for trail races that captures the bouncy/responsive "super shoe" feel of the best road racing shoes. They are that and more.
They have the most comfortable upper of any running shoe I've ever worn. The ride feels fast and responsive, yet cushioned. The outsole traction is as good as they come: my first run in these was a 10-mile trail race on snow, ice, rock, and mud, and they took full-on threshold efforts without slippage across all those surfaces. Cannot think of anything I'd change about these shoes.

As an avid trail runner and dedicated shoe connoisseur, I've tried and tested countless running shoes over the years. However, the Saucony Edge Trail stands out as a true game-changer in the trail running world. With its remarkable blend of comfort, durability, and performance, this shoe has quickly become my go-to choice for all types of terrain. In this review, I will provide an in-depth analysis of the features that make the Saucony Edge Trail deserving of a solid five-star rating.
Comfort and Fit:
The moment I slipped my foot into the Saucony Edge Trail, I instantly felt the plush cushioning and perfect fit. The shoe's FORMFIT technology adapts to the contours of your feet, providing a secure and snug fit that doesn't compromise on comfort. The padded tongue and collar further enhance the coziness, and the gusseted construction prevents debris from entering the shoe.
Traction and Grip:
The Saucony Edge Trail's outsole is nothing short of impressive. It's equipped with multidirectional lugs made from PWRTRAC rubber, which offers exceptional grip on various surfaces, including muddy trails, slippery rocks, and steep inclines. The aggressive lug pattern digs into the ground, ensuring stable footing and confidence in every stride.
Support and Stability:
The shoe's PWRRUN+ midsole delivers a perfect balance of cushioning and responsiveness, making it suitable for both long and short runs. The TPU guidance frame provides additional support and stability, allowing for a more efficient and controlled stride. This feature truly shines on uneven terrain, where the shoe's stability helps maintain proper foot positioning and reduces the risk of injury.
Breathability and Quick-Drying:
The Saucony Edge Trail features a durable and lightweight engineered mesh upper that allows for excellent ventilation. The quick-drying properties of the material come in handy when tackling wet conditions or crossing streams, ensuring that your feet stay comfortable and dry throughout your run.
Durability and Protection:
A rugged trail shoe should be able to withstand the challenges of harsh environments, and the Saucony Edge Trail excels in this area. The shoe features a reinforced toe cap and abrasion-resistant overlays, providing protection against rocks, roots, and other trail obstacles. The quality materials and sturdy construction assure that these shoes will last for many miles of challenging trail runs.
In conclusion, the Saucony Edge Trail is a top-tier trail running shoe that checks all the boxes for comfort, performance, and durability. Its thoughtful design, superior traction, and adaptability to various terrains make it a must-have for trail enthusiasts. As someone who's put the Saucony Edge Trail to the test in a variety of conditions, I can confidently give it a well-deserved five-star rating. Happy trails!

Context: 6'7", ~195 lbs, size 15D, perfect fits: Ride, Endorphin Speed 2, Kinvara
Pros:
1) toe box is super roomy (touch wider than Speed 2)
2) lockdown is great (similar to Kinvara)
3) foam is great (bouncy and soft)
4) upper (very breathable and light)
Cons:
1) tongue configuration (strap on tongue has a purpose, just needs refining and I am not sure how to accomplish that)
2) foam (I question the durability with no real reasons. To date, ~40 miles and no damage.)

I bought this shoe over a month ago and had really high hopes. Well, I can tellyou that this shoe really delivered! The shoe doesn't feel really rugged but it definitely can handle the trails. The ride is super comfortable and just like my other Saucony's, they just hug my feet like they are an extension of my foot. I do not think I would want to do any mud runs with them though I think they may be able to handle it I would opt for a more cleat-like trail runner for that but these will take me though all my other trail endeavors. Great shoe, would recommend!!

It's about time Saucony steps up and offers a size 15 in a trail shoe. Brooks ASICS New Balance and Nike all offer multiple trail models. Thank you.

Wore these for the first time today. 10K trail run on mostly flat hard surface. Had my best run ever on this trail and broke my 10k PR on a trail nonetheless. These are the real deal.

Great cushioned, burly, boundy trail beast. Comfy, roomy toebox, not sure about durability, but so far, so very good. A little slippy on the wet stuff/rocks, and not the most stable shoe out there on technical terrain but a racer so... yeah.

Awesome shoe, a joy to run with. I use this mainly on well groomed dirt and gravel trails, and reserve the Xodus for running hiking trails.
Excellent: rock protection, breathability, heel lock on the uphills, foot lock on the down hills, light and bouncy, great wide toe box. When I lace up, I use all 5 pairs of eyelets (there is an additional set under the straps) to lace up the upper, then I bring the laces back down from the top - then cross over - and thread through the side straps separately - then tie off below the straps. This gives an incredibly fine tuned fit.
If there is any 1 shoe out there that can truly do it all, this is it. From light trails to long marathons, this shoe just soaks up the miles.

The Edge is what the Speedgoat 5 promised to be: Plush without being tippy. Unlike the Hoka, the Edge's plate allows for some welcome flexibility, especially uphill. This shoe is the biggest surprise for me of the year and rivals more expensive options such as the Norda 011 and Speedland HSV for comfort.

I bought these a month ago and have been training for an ultramarathon in them. They have about 100 miles on them and they feel amazing. The force feedback with the carbon plate is incredible.

Nothing is perfect because we all have our likes and not all of us like the same. Overall the shoe is performing great with 20 miles and one event was 11 miles. Hard terrain, lots of roots, rock, sand, and dry dry dirt. 108 f degrees real feel was 113 f. 5000 elevation (climbing). Lots of long downhill and lots of long uphill. Plenty of fast straight aways. No water in sight on course other than sweaty legs so shoes did get soaked by body sweat and stayed wet however did not bother me and did not effect shoe performance. Great conditions for testing the shoe.
I am happy with the shoe. Really did not feel the impact during the runs so compare to other trail shoes where I felt I just finished slapping my bare foot against a rock for 12 hours these shoes really left my feet with the smallest amount of sense that I had ran for 2 hours on a hard surface trail (basically concrete) because so dry. I don't like the laces but I never do because I like laces the are stretchy and don't put pressure on the upper foot which is why I wish they would make all running shoes with BOA dials since these dials remove all pressure points and are super easy to release if foot swells too much or you need a little extra firmness for locking in the foot. Add BOA dials and this is the shoe. It's fast up, down and straight. Almost no impact. Weight is light enough. I feel everyone should try the shoe because the shoe is great.

Really from the moment I put them on I knew I loved them. The fit was just great and you could feel the springiness of the foam. My right foot runs just a bit wide and the fit was still perfectly comfortable. I've been running in the Xodus Ultra and there is a pressure point on my left ankle that is a little bothersome. Not so here. First run only a moderate 4 miles on barely technical trails with mild elevation. But man can you feel the pop. I'm a bigger guy at 6'3 245 and no mountain goat by any means. But I could still feel the shoe begging me to go faster. In a good way. I saw some reviews saying you need to open them up to get full benefit but even at my average pace I could feel the cushion and plate helping me out. A little less trail feel than the peregrine but the trade off is more than worth it! Buy this shoe! Worth every penny.

My next trail race is on slick rock so I won't need the EDGE for that but I will fit sure grab a pair for my next big off road trail race! This one has Superior Hiking Trail written all over it!

Great take on the Endorphin street shoes. This would be a world class trail show if the bottom of the heal was .25" wider (tapered top to bottom) for added stability. The carbon plate needs to be slightly more flexible under the arch, the heal needs a recessed split for dual suspension, and Vibrum rubber would help a ton on the slick terrain. Otherwise, this is a fast, roomy and very comfortable shoe.

I have really enjoyed this shoe so far. It is incredible comfortable and has good grip for steeper climbs and great cushion for longer runs. The one downside is the durability isn't great. I would recommend this as more of 'race shoe' and not so much a daily trainer.

Shoe curves up around big toe- causing toe to rub against it despite not needing a larger shoe. There's plenty of toe room (.5 inches at least), but the shoe has an internal curve up right under the big toe. This was extremely annoying and I knew it'd cause blisters or some wear later on. Had to return. Hoping the next version has a flater toe zone and a higher arch. The cushion was great, though. Really wish these had fit my foot better.
