Was excited to try the Activate walking shoe. They felt good when I laced them up. Then I walked up and down on my wood floors. Found that there is not enough padding under ball of foot and toes. They started to hurt that part of my foot after 10- 15 minutes of walking. Loved the color and the light weight, but the lack of proper cushioning was a deal-breaker. Thankful for Ryka's Happy Return process.

Ryka's are the first shoes I have owned that put my pelvis and back into alignment with my shoulders, subsequently correcting my gait. I have experienced significant pain reduction since buying Ryka shoes and have built up strength in all of the right places. Also having plantar fasciitis, Ryka, again, are the most comfortable I have found. My foot pain is not entirely gone, but now similar to those without fasciitis after long days on my feet.

I've had bunion surgery. I've got spinal disc issues. These are the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever been able to find!

These are the best walking shoes I have ever owned! I walk at least 10 miles/week and need good supportive shoes. So many pairs have only lasted a few months. I've tried several brands. These are so lightweight, and keep my feet from sweating in the Florida heat. They are super cute! I love the white with yellow letters. I'm ordering the black ones now!

Love Ryka shoes. Feels like walking on pillows! Wore out my Ryka high tops which I loved also. Would buy either again if you still made the high tops!

This is my second pair of this shoe. It is the most comfortable walking shoe I have ever had.

I bought this shoe two months ago and it is the best sneaker I have ever owned. It is comfortable for walking and speed walking. I walk 10,000-13,000 steps a day. I have osteoarthritis in my knees , hip and lower back and these sneakers help greatly to eliminate the shock to my joints. I highly recommend buying a pair or three.

Best fitting and most athletic comfortable shoe I ever bought.

It has literally been years since I have had an athletic shoe that fit my foot well. So glad that I sought out Ryka and tried this shoe. I have a low volume aging narrow foot and hardware in one ankle from a previous fracture. Typically I've needed additional support using metatarsal arch supports and/or orthotics. Not with these shoes! They are very supportive with a comfortably cushioned firm footbed, laces that hold and they are cut low enough at the ankle that they don't rub on hardware. Exercise is a pleasure again and can wear these shoes all day without foot pain. I hope they continue to make this model in the future without changes. As other reviewers have noted they do run a bit big and I am wearing a full size down from my usual.

These are super comfortable and supportive! I am on my feet 8 hours a day and highly recommend them.

Excellent so far. I got these and i walk at least 5 miles a day. They were comfortable from the get go. They have enough support and my toes don't rub. I have high arches and these shoes support that

These are the most comfortable walking shoes with plenty of room in the toe. I love my Rykas, no break in time just put them on and go. I will be back for a darker color in Activate.

I wear these shoes for my walks around the neighborhood with my husband and our dog. They are comfortable and provide great support.

I'll start with the pros. These shoes are comfortable and take pressure off my back and hips. I've tried many walking shoes and these are it. They're light, airy, dry quickly and have a bit of bounce in the heel. The heel is the perfect height- and creates a stable walking experience, they overall feel supportive. The wide fit is perfect and they're essentially true to size. If I were reviewing the feel and fit solely- it'd be 5 stars. Also note, I thought these were white with yellow accent but they're off white. The cons. It took two weeks for my shoes to arrive. I understand delays but I wasn't informed well. When they arrived the box was covered in thick dust- they clearly sat in a warehouse for a long time. All of the rubber material looked used- for lack of better word- crinkled as if they'd been worn. There was a stain of some sort on the heel. After three wears the traction on the bottom of shoe began wearing and peeling. This was not something I expected after three uses. The shoe insert is not attached to the inside of the shoe but doesn't seem to shift much. I did attempt to reach out for support but was essentially ghosted when I mentioned the above. The quality is not on par with the price. Had the quality been better- it'd be a 5 star shoe. I recommend these for fit and feel, not quality. Quality needs to be addressed.
