Only just started breaking these in. Great feel. I needed waterproof because of where I live in the mts and these fit the bill.

I purchased these to replace a pair of old Timberland Garrison Trail mid boot. Those had been one of the most comfortable shoes I have owned. Those had been my go to boots for camping, driving to remote locations and hiking. Most times my trips were over 5 hours long and never had an issue with those shoes being too stiff for driving. I could not purchase another pair and had to look for an alternate pair of boots and took a chance on these. Used these for the very first time on a 4 plus hour drive with no prior break in and they did not disappoint. They felt as though they were an old pair of broken in shoes. So far, I'm very pleased with how comfortable they feel. The sole is very soft, almost like the memory foam. I would have preferred added cushion on the heel. That might not be everyone's preference, so I understand why they left it out. I can't speak on durability since I have only used them on one trip. If possible, I will edit this review or do another after the summer.

I wanted a waterproof hiking boot that was not too stiff or chunky. This is it. The sole is more flexible and the uppers wrap around your feet.

My wife and I have been avid hikers for about 6 years now, and frequently travel to Colorado and Arizona for most of our trips. We just finished up a trip to Arizona my first hike using my new Timberland Trailquests. I wish I had bought these boots years ago. I assumed they might be a bit stiff and take some time to break in, but I was overly impressed by their immediate comfort. Unlike some of my previous boots that proved to be bulky and heavy, the Trailquest boot is lightweight while remaining extremely supportive, and the sole's design assists with stable traction during the more challenging parts of your hike. On top of being an exceptionally functional boot, they are also visually appealing and draw compliments from other hikers. I am overly pleased with my new Trailquests and look forward to the many hikes that await. You will not regret purchasing these!

I tried these out on Mt. Washington this past weekend. Overall very satisfied. They stood up well and provided the traction needed on the descend. These are replacing a pair of Merrill's that I had for many years. Overall very satisfied thus far.

These boots are very comfortable and stylish. The stitching on the boot are cool looking. Wore them for about 2weeks and it's not so hard like the other Timberlands I used.

The boots are amazing. They are a great mix between your classic boot and trail runner. You get the ankle support and ruggedness of a boot with the comfort and cushion of a trailer runner. These were ready to go out of the box with little to no break in period necessary. These boots are fantastic and I could not recommend them enough. Really love the look and the waterproof feature is great. Would like if they came in another accent color besides neon orange, but wouldn't be a dealer breaker. True to size fit.

I have been searching for a new pair of hiking boots to replace my old ones. I previously owned a few pairs of Timberland and always liked them so decided to get these new Trailquest waterproof Timberland hiking boots. On first try, they were very comfortable, true to size and even though they are very lightweight, they also feel very sturdy. The waterproof material is awesome as I do hike in all kind of weather. The quality of the boots is very good and it feels like they will last me a long time, even the sole. When it comes to style and color, I find them very cool looking, especially with the orange laces and sole. Overall, I am very pleased with my new boots and they get a perfect score from me.

I've had these shoes for about a month now, I've been wearing them daily. I'm on my feet for 8+ hours a day and my feet don't hurt while wearing these. Cons: hard to tighten laces. Pros: great traction, ankle support, comfortable. Also...I stepped on a nail on accident yesterday and it didn't even go through the shoes! Definitely would recommend!

I used to associate Timerland with work boots. I was happily surprised when I decided to try one of their takes on a hiking boot. At first look, the choice of color pallet is pleasing. The olive mixed in with the touches of black go well together. My only nitpick is the lighter section of the sole. If you're an avid hiker, don't expect that part to stay clean for long. Comfort-wise they felt true to size and easy on my feet during the few moderate trail walks I have taken. Compared to other hiking shoes of a similar price point, I think there is more value in the Timberland brand. Overall, I would recommend these to a friend and will continue to test their durability throughout the fall months.

I like these because they are very versatile. They can be worn while hiking or going to the store. I would prefer a little more cushion personally; however, they are still much better when compared to other hiking boots.

These hiking boots were shockingly comfortable! Spent 3 days camping and hiking in these boots and they did not disappoint. They were definitely put to the test with stream crossing's, rocky trails and steep muddy climbs and the performance was great! The only thing I didn't love was the laces and the way the boots are tied but once you figure it out it's not bad!

Before purchasing, I read the reviews, and "SM" had a review about the same issue that I now have. I'm surprised Timberland didn't test the inside metal part, because it is causing so much pain on my ankles.

There is this metal clip inside for shoe lace thats rubbing the ankle bone and is very uncomfortable. Also there is no 9.5 W size but I think its not a size problem as the design seems little flawed.
