This suit is really quite lovely; beautiful color and appears very well made. It just did not do a thing for my geriatric body. I wish that someone out there working in bathing suit design would realize that these conservative tanks are usually bought by older or "real-bodied" women and make the back so it hugs the bottom of your butt instead of encouraging soft flesh to "ooze out". I have no desire to spend my entire day tugging at my bathing suit. For younger women with a firm butt, this suit will work fine

This is a beautiful, high quality suit. It did not work for me as the top, though supportive, was too large and gaps. A different body type than mine, it will be lovely.

The bottom of the suit fits perfectly, but from the waist up, it has no slimming effect because it is too loose Also, the cups are too big. I wear bra size 42D and I was 'floating' in the top of this suit. No support or structure whatsoever! I'm going to try a size 20. I hope it works because it really is a lovely suit!

I love these one piece swimsuits made of chlorine resistant Italian made fabric. They really do stand up well to regular swims in a pool. I always rinse out my suit in clear water and hang to air dry after every swim. I bought the first suit about 10 years ago, and although it has lost some elasticity, it is great for wearing in the hot tub. My latest purchase fits well, and is actually easier to put on than the one I bought about 5 years ago...the elastic slimming panel is not quite so snug, so the suit is easier to pull up/down over my hips. The new suit shoulder straps are wider and stay in place for swimming, but for a more youthful look I would have preferred them to be narrower. I like the lower cut back and the print which is mostly a blend of turquoise and blues.

As a lap swimmer, over time I have bought three of these suits in lovely patterns. The suit is flattering and wears well with soaking after being in a chlorinated pool. The leg openings are modest, which is hard to find elsewhere. My issue with the style is that the bust is too large. I am a "C" cup, and am lost in the top of this suit, especially on the sides.

I was looking for a cheap suit because I swim a lot, and the chlorine destroys the fabric. I was surprised by the suit and the way it fit, and how much I liked it.

This bathing suit fits the length of my torso perfectly (size regular, 5'3"). I'm 135 lbs and the size 10 fits well and is flattering. I am pear-shaped and it does slightly creep up on my bottom and gape on the top when I sit down, which is a common problem for my small chest. Overall it fits better than most bathing suits and is very nice quality.

While my need for size 16 was Covid weight gain related and my bust is not quite there, this bathing suit was an awesome find at the last minute before going on vacation. Even better it was on sale! It does a great job of hiding the tummy. First time I've not been embarrassed to be seen on the beach in a while. I think taking up the straps a bit will take care of the bust issue But I'm really happy with this bathing suit.

I have never bought swimsuits online before, but ordered 4 from LLBean. Two in size 14 (which I usually wear because I am short waisted and in a larger size the straps fall down) and two in 16 (because I have gained weight in my tummy). This size16 fit pretty well. My tummy is still there but not as noticeable as in other suits. The straps feel a little loose but so far they have stayed up, even in water aerobics class. The material feels substantial and the print is beautiful. I wish the dcolletage plunge was straight across.

The suit fit perfectly, if you're a size D cup. I'm a B. I guess they think because you wear a size 18, you have a large chest as well. Disappointed because everything else about the suit fit well, and the "slimming" part actually worked! :-)

The swimsuit is lovely and comfortable, if a little loose fitting, particularly around the leg openings.

This was our second time to by this exact product because of perfect fit and sturdy construction. The L.L. Bean measurement instructions were easy to follow and accurate in result. The color/dye is another story. My wife's first one is like new in every way except for terrible color loss. None of the original color remains, just a dirty pink imprint of the design. If the color were fast, this would be an absolute first=rate choice.

It would be nice if this comes in Petite. The bodice feels a bit long.

Not a miracle, but it flatters my less-than-perfect figure.

I am usually a 10 bathing suit but exchanged for an 8 as the 10 felt a bit loose. I usually like this crossover style as it tends to give support and separation but this suit tends to flatten me, which I don't mind. I am busty and the 8 barely makes it. There is a more heavy fabric in the front but it did dry with no problem. In general happy but have only worn it once in a pond. Will see how it is in ocean waves.

I took a chance on hoping this bathing suit would fit -- the reviews stated it fit 75% of the time. I had purchase this style a couple of years ago, but after loosing some weight, I needed a smaller size. Measuring my body and comparing it to the size chart, I thought the suit would fit perfect; however, the top is way way too big. A disappointment, but I will adjust the straps a bit so it will stay up and onto my shoulders.

I like the suit and will keep it. My only info is that the butt of the suit is a little skimpy so it feels like it's not covering my whole bottom. Kind of riding up. I bought the long so I wouldn't have that problem. But still looks good will just wear it with a skirt or shorts when not in the water.

I wanted to love it but it was loose on top. It was a poor fit. I am a size 10 in all things ll bean except for this suit. The blue color was great and the shaping around my midsection was also great. Still, it had gaps around the shoulder area. I returned it for a design with adjustable straps.

I purchased size 8. I'm 5'2 and weigh 118 lbs. it seemed to fit when dry. In the water material stretches. I have to pull the shoulder strap up while I'm swimming laps! Sturdy material. Should last long, a long time I'll be uncomfortable while swimming.

This suit was practically see-thru in the back. Fit great and looked good from the front just felt like I was mooning folks from the back.

Love the shape, fit and pattern of this suit. However, the back fabric of the suit is thinner and looks faded compared to the ruched front fabric.

Wanted to love this because the color and wrap style are usually very flattering. However, this suit just didn't fit me well. Not enough room for the posterior

The front does everything it says it does - holds you in, shapes, looks great. The downside is that the back is very sheer. There are extra layers in the front and nothing in the back

I purchased 4 of the tummy control suits over the last 12 months because I started pool exercising in a warm indoor pool. The straps are too loose for me. So I have to stitch the cups together in the middle to pull the straps and better hold them on my shoulders because the straps cannot be adjusted. 2 of the suits I wore the most lost the shape of the front shirring after 6 months and the fabric just hung. The suits lost their shaping and all their color. So they're going in the trash. The fabric is thicker than most bathing suits so I think they lasted longer than other thin fabric suits would have. I'm going to try the Beansport Squareneck Tanksuit with adjustable straps next.
