So, there I was , a fit-enough 55 year old, in need of a swimsuit. I wanted to NOT look ridiculous and I wanted to be fairly modest. I ordered several suits from 3 different places and this was the clear winner. The size 8 also fit but I went with a 10 because it caused a little less squish-out. The halter doesn't pull on my neck and the skirt nicely covers down south. I like the flattering fit across my belly. It was an unexpected happy ending to the most stressful kind of search and purchase.

This is a great swimsuit. Forgiving. Slimming. Beautiful fabric and print. (I purchased the blue cobalt vines.) I'm an older woman who is carrying extra weight. This suit makes me feel comfortable, presentable, and attractive. I can focus on swimming and socializing, rather than worrying about whether I am exposing a little too much. I highly recommend it.

I ordered this suit from LLBean because they have the option of a longer suit. This fit great and was a good length for my body. Very comfortable and well-made. The color "Cobalt Vines" is very pretty. Just like the photo. Because of my age and body type, I would have liked to have more breast support, but this does not effect my rating. It was a great purchase!

Now granted I did not swim in it yet but did try it on and love the quality of the fabric, the way it fit and print!

Can't wait to wear this for family beach week. It's well made, slimming and suits my preferences for comfort and coverage. In clothes I usually wear 4-6, often petite, but the 8 in a swimsuit works just fine.

I bought this suit in a tall for the extra length. It is very pretty, flattering, and very comfortable. I got nice comments about it, too.

Based on reviews, I decided to try ordering a Long torso suit size 10, even though I'm 5'5". It fits just right. One piece suits are far more comfortable when I don't have to tug a suit up at the bust or the leg openings down so they don't pinch. The teal blue watercolor is incredibly pretty. My weight is about 130 lbs. and bust is 36B/C, and this suit provides adequate support without feeling tight.

I've gained weight lately, so I was not looking forward to shopping for a bathing suit -- and less so actually wearing one! But this LL Bean suit provides a flattering fit. I purchased the size 14. It lays nicely on my sides; my tummy is actually a bit hidden, and the skirt portion falls nicely just below my hips. I felt very comfortable wearing this suit, while river tubing and splashing around in a creek. The front is a deeper cut than I am used to. But, it still fit nicely in the front. It kept it's shape while swimming, and washed nicely. Highly recommend!

I am an older woman, who is slender and fit, who wanted a modest, attractive, swimsuit that I would feel comfortable with on the Beach or by the Pool. This suit is very becoming, with gorgeous colors, that enhances my figure. I think this swimsuit would look good on a woman of any age. Even though it is one piece, it is flattering to the figure and I feel good wearing it. I would definitely recommend it. The material is beautiful and of high quality. I am slim and probably would have gone with a smaller size if offered. However, I was able to adjust the neck straps, making for a very comfortable fit. I am happy with my purchase.

I purchased the teal water color suit (D cup). I loved the colors and got so so many compliments I bought another one for when this one wears out. I am not a small gal, but it really does make me look skinny:)

I really like this suit and the fit is great. I debated between the regular and long and chose the regular. I'm glad I did because the long would have been too long. The regular is a tad longer than the BeanSport skirted bottom of which I've purchased several times. I like the gathers on the side seams which makes for a flattering look if you have a bit of a tummy. The skirt part flares out a little in a cute and flattering way. I'm a 36B, a little wide in the waist and narrow in the hips. I can see it could be a little revealing for a person with a large bust but works very well with a B cup. I'm very pleased and think it's a perfect suit for a 65 year old woman who still enjoys a regular swim.

Excellent fabric and construction. The style is not for a hardcore lap swimmer, but perfect for relaxing in and at the pool. I needed a suit that covers up a bit more than I used to and this one fits that criterion. I ordered size 8 Long and the fit is quite comfortable and it isn't a struggle to get it on or off.

Loved the halter - comfortable to wear. Best part: "purchased" with Bean Bucks, so the swimsuit was free!

This is the best fitting bathing suit I've found since I was young! I'm in my 50's, so I'm not crazy about the way my body looks "at rest." However, this bathing suit makes me look much slimmer and gives me plenty of bra support. I purchased the Long, which definitely helped make this suit perfect for me. Bonus: My daughter and her friends say I look great in this suit!

I LOVE this swimming suit! It is VERY complimentary to my Plus-sized figure, and it's VERY comfortable. I don't pull or tug on any part of it while wearing it ALL DAY. The halter style top holds everything in, and the length of the skirt is just right. PLEASE make this ultra-CUTE swimming suit in more colors and patterns. I will buy one of each!

This swim dress is super cute! I am a size 14 from the waist down and I ordered a 12 because I wanted it to be snug and it fits perfect. Shows off my curves and beautiful colors. Can't wait for summer!

Thank you for offering this style bathing suit dress. It is a beautiful suit, fits like it was custom made for me, is slimming and stunning on. I ordered long torso which is perfect for my body type. I purchased for an upcoming cruise, however, will wear this throughout the summer to fall season here in the Carolinas.
