I am a huge fan of sports cars, so when I saw the McLaren Senna on here, I just had to get it. The piece count for the set was amazing for the price, and except for the front (which is hard to make slope properly in Lego), it was a very realistic looking model.
It was a bit sticker-heavy, but that's okay. The two things that bothered me were the turning piece and the amount of regular bricks. The turning piece is in kinda of an akward place, I think it would look better if it was, say, in the back of the build, like the orange corvette has. And the bricks just make it more destructable, which I just don't like because I'm usually a bit ruff with the sets when I bring them out of the display cases. Other than that, it is a wonderful build and I think anyone who's done technic before could do it. 10/10.

This is a astonishing 850 Piece or so set for only 50 bucks! I love all the details this includes, including the rotating engine pistons. It is a great touch to my desk along with my Lego Fiat 500. The only problem i had was, when you are installing the bricks that move the pistons up and down. It only clearly showed 3 of the 4 pieces, so after i was finished i had to take some sections apart to add the 4th piece. Other then that, great set! (This thing is also massive!)

This set is AWESOME! I got this set for my son, Noah, and he loved it! This car has moving pistons, opening doors, turning front wheels for such a great price! It also has so much pieces, (830!) and looks great on a shelf! Buy before sold out!

This is quite a a straightforward and enjoyable build, but what's going on with the wheel axles? The nearside rear wheel has a grey axle whereas the other 3 wheels have brown axles. Is this deliberate? Both the instructions and the photos on the product page clearly show this. Some mistake on the design side?

My 9yo needed so much help for this set. Even I had some trouble with a lot of the pieces. Hard to clip some pieces in.

Soon after putting this set together, the engine pistons began to stick at every turn. The piston actually blocks the back wheels from turning. Luckily, I used some spare parts from another kit to remove the gear from the gearbox and disconnect the pistons from the drive shaft all together. Now the wheels work fine for my boy to push it around. I am hesitant to buy other technic vehicles without seeing a full assembly first to make sure I don't get another faulty engine design.

Overall, I believe this set was an experience that I can benefit from, however, I wouldn't recommend this set due to one piece that is prevalent throughout the building process. Part 6282140 is one of if not the most annoying things I have ever encountered in a LEGO set and I only managed to complete this set by using other extra parts to make it easier, or completely avoid the part all together. It doesn't pop into place as easily as the rest of the technic pieces and frustratingly hurt my hands throughout the build. Maybe I received a bad batch of eggs but online, many others have expressed the same issues with this part, especially on step 94.
I am an avid LEGO fan but I'd expect better quality from such a large manufacturer, especially when such intricate pieces are involved

I have built many lego cars recently and I have had a great time building. This gtr has pieces that were missing though. I couldn't even build going into the second bag because of the pieces missing. For the price I spent I am very disappointed and I am now scared to buy again.

It may just be me, but this pack is missing pieces and my son is unable to build it. He told me that it was missing a certain piece and I ordered it, but he just realized that it was missing multiple pieces from pack 1.

I bought this set to build together with my daughter through the summer. We kept having to stop because of missing bricks in this set. We've had to stop 3 times already. It's been super frustrating because we can't move on to the next step without the piece. Each piece needed to order for replacement requires 10-14 days shipping. Our lego building experience is horrible. It's been 2 months and we still haven't been able to finish it. We are on the last 3 pages and cannot complete the car because ANOTHER missing piece. Now we need to wait another 10-14 business days to finish the car. It's very frustrating.
