These shoes run really small. I actually could not get them on and they are my size.

The uncomfortable fit and sizing was not like other New Balance of similar style that I have happily purchased for years.

I only wear NB sneakers because I have wide and flat feet. They are normally very comfortable and have great arch support. I'm a little disappointed with these sneakers. The arch support is average and my calves hurt after wearing them. They are also not that attractive.

My size in the 860v12 is 12 M. When I went to buy the v13 because there aren't any more v12's on the Zappos' website, I found the shoes were at least 1/2 size too small because the toe box is now more pointed. As women, we've been through the dance of rounded toes and pointed toes and everything in between for dress shoes. But, please New Balance, for running and walking shoes, just make them comfortable, and a more narrow toe box is not comfortable for many of us regardless of the size. And Zappos, if you're able to pass along this feedback to New Balance since you sell so many of their shoes, that would be great!

Incredible running shoes!! I’ve used them for about 6 months to train for the half marathon I’ll be running next week and I can’t say enough good things about them!! I will say- I am a size 7.5 so I usually get size 8 running shoes to account for swelling but I had to get 8.5 in these because 8 didn’t feel big enough. 11/10 recommend

I have extra wide feet so I got the EE size shoes. I wear them for long walks with my dog and for traveling. They’re lightweight, extremely comfortable and reliable shoes. I’m considering getting a second pair.

Fit just like my 860v11! The 12s were different. Wide is plenty wide for my bunions and don’t rub!

Overall I love this shoe, it is very comfortable and looks good too. I read a suggestion to size up and that I did. I believe it may be a little big, but it still feels great.

I'm in LOVE with these shoes! I have a high end step and I over pronate and these shoes fit perfect! It feels like they're hugging my feet but I have the strong support I need too.

As recommended, I ordered a half size larger than my normal size. The fit was very good and shoe was comfortable but the Asics Gel-Kayano 29's I ordered at the same time were a little cushier and supportive so I kept them instead.

The toe box was not as deep as previous NB860 versions and I'm afraid to go up a size. And have a toenail issue and I need a deep toe box.

The shoe did fit and I would have to say true to size. However, from the middle of my foot to the heel it felt like there was compression and my foot would throb and this was on carpet after 2-3 minutes. So I'm not sure why that happened because I liked the roomy toe box and that part of my foot felt good. For reference, I got a size 8 extra wide even though my foot is not that wide in order to have the roomy feel.

Even though I am not a runner, I felt these New Balance shoes are perfect for walking. Very comfortable from the first time wearing them. Well made and perfect fit.

I am a marathon runner who runs 50-60 miles/week in this shoe. It is an amazing shoe. Like most running shoes, if you’re trying to actually put some miles in—SIZE UP. For reference, all my casual shoes are a 10, and I get an 11 in these. I love new balance shoes and these are no exception.

The Aluminum grey/ Quartz grey combined with white is a nice color combination. This shoe is not as roomy in the toe box as the blue/steel 11.5 ww. And it fits a tad bit narrower in the midsole, however, it's not uncomfortable. I'm assuming its the grey color dye that shrinks the material just like the black dye shrinks the black/white 860v13 shoe. I'm recovering from a 5th metatarsal fracture and some of my athletic shoes are too firm for my swollen foot. This Fresh Foam X provides great cushion in the midsole, which my foot desperately needs. I also have the blue/steel 11.5 wide and men's 10 ww in white.

I think these shoes look great, unlike many of the others I've ordered lately that look like glodhoppers. I normally order an 8.5 EE but with these I ordered an 8. They fit fine. The thing that makes them feel tight is that they have a stretchy material on each side of the tongue that goes down to the bottom of the shoe. This hugs your foot like a sock. I am fine with it, but one who does not like it, could easily just cut it out. The best thing though is that they are like walking on foam.

I love the style and fit but have decided that I would prefer a shoe with color vs a white shoe so I am exchanging

This shoe felt considerably wider than the Fresh Foam X 880v13 style that I ordered at the same time, both in size 2E. The 880v13 worked well for me, I'm keeping them, and returning the 860v13. I liked the comfort of the shoe, it was just too big.

I normally wear a 7 wide in New Balance. This pair did not fit because the toe height was so low. Also tried a 7.5 medium since the 7.5 wide wasn't available. That still didn't have enough toe room plus the stiff material around the upper lace holes dug into one of my inner ankle bones. I ended up getting the FuelCell Propel v4 in 7.5 wide.

They were attractive but they seemed too stiff for my sensitive feet.

The toe box was not as deep as previous 860 versions. I returned them due to this. I need the space.

They narrowed the toe box in this version. I like the wider toe box in my previous version. It's too bad it was changed.

So disappointed with New Balance these past few years. I wore the 1260 and they were discontinued then the 840v3 but don't like the current version. This show runs very short and was rigid around the ankle and just didn't feel comfortable. I only buy shoes that are comfortable out of the box. Finding the right fit shouldn't be a full time job but thanks Zappos for at least making it easier than with other companies.
